I won't throw any tomatoes. There are lots of people on Menewsha from Gaia, myself included.

Things are a little diffrent here than Gaia. You get gold relative to how often and how much you post, for example. No random numbers. =3

Really, at Solia? I was a member there about a year ago, but I never remembered to go back...

They should be happy you were willing to give them a try, I would think.

It's funny, they talk about us Menweshans on Gaia? Sweet. =3

THey talk about us quite often actually. And randomly they'll swarm us with trolls saying we're copying Gaia yada yada yada. But ya know, we can deal with them, we've gotten some pretty awesome people from Gaia in the past that wanted something more out of their avatar site...and decided mene was the place to go! The way I see it, Gaia is fine for spamming the hell out of forums and bumping until you're blue in the face, but when you want something more...you go somewhere else. xD

I respect your opinions melody but you, as a moderator have just generalised the entirity of gaia and I feel very hurt.
Im glad you are happy I came here but by openly announcing that I am a gaian in some of my posts in threads related to other avatar based sites, I have been bombarded with concentrated hate and degenrative remarks.
I have been told that I am stupid for liking gaia and that I must be an idiot.
I have even recieved a pm threatening me to leave.
By posting what you did Melody, as a moderator, it feels like I really am not wanted.
I will stay here as long as I planned but hope to make a guy return to gaia, as my efforts here have been met by hostility.

o.o I was posting my opinion of Gaia forums not the Menewshan opinion/views on Gaia. Just because I am also a moderator am I not allowed to have my own views? I'm not saying that you can't find good conversation and good friends there, I'm sure you can if you know where to look. I've met some nice people while playing Zomg as well. I already admitted that I was/am a member of Gaia as well, so wouldn't that post taken how you took it also be insulting me? Please don't take them the wrong way.

[edit] and if you are getting threatening PM's you are welcome to forward them to me, another moderator or an assistant administrator and the person sending them will be dealt with. Threats are not allowed on Menewsha. If you get remarks ON the forum threatening you you should report them as well.

I don't think Melody Xyelle was trying to make you feel not welcome at all! She was just voiceing her opinion, that's it. There are still a lot of Menewshans who are active Gaia members.

And did you mean people were sending you threatening messag here, or on Solia?
