Hello, Cms! Welcome to Menewsha! It seems you wrote your introduction while the boards are a little slow, but that's alright. We're glad to have you none the less!!!

If you have any questions, you can Pm me or what not. So, how are you doing?

Hello,CMS. Welcome to Menewsha. You may want to try adding a bit more about yourself to your introduction post.

Well, hello CMS. :)
You should use this thread to tell use about yourself. You know, interests, hobbies, and etc. You can spark a good conversation that way and perhaps make some early friends.

Also, posting with a single word such as 'hello' in a post is sadly considered spam. Of course a moderator wont punish you as this is your first post in the welcome thread and it's understandable for you to not be aware yet. :) The rules are located in the blue bar at the top of the page. Most are the same common rules used throughout most forum websites, but I do highly suggest that you give it a good look as Menewsha does have some unique rules.

I and many other fellow members will be very happy to answer any question you may need help with. Welcome to Menewsha. <3

Thank you all very much :) I really appreciate it and its nice to meet you all.

Well...I'm in college majoring in Japanese and Film and minoring in German and International Relations. I found out about Menewsha through facebook. I'll be studying abroad in Mito, Japan next semester. I love all things Anime and Manga, and while I'm in Japan I'm looking to go to the biggest Anime convention in the world, held in Tokyo at the end of March.

I love Football and work the video boards for it at my school, and its one of the few sports I can tolerate watching (as opposed to getting out there and playing). My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall and I'm taking way to many credits this semester for it to be good for my sanity O_o

I love anything from Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli and think his museum in Mitaka is nothing short of fantastic and could spend an entire day there. I like his newest film Ponyo, especially when I saw it in Japanese theaters last Summer, but I'm a little hesitant to watch the English version. Howl's Moving Castle is a personal favorite. I also really like the Labyrinth and Twilight.

I've been speaking Japanese for two years and German for 9. I love traveling abroad and have been to Germany, Austria, Ireland, Japan, Thailand, the Caribbean, The Bahamas, Mexico, Jamaica, Haiti and Canada.

I also am a huge, huge Disney fan (old school animation and what not...none of this Hannah Montana stuff for me)

Is that better?

Thank you and nice to meet you!

Muchly! If you'd like to practice your Japanese and German, feel free to go to the Menewsha Nations and join one of the non-English forums, which is the only place non-english posts are allowed here.

Miyazaki has a museum? Must. Go. See.

The only traveling out of the country I've done was to the Bahamas on a cruise ship.. twice.

Yup. He has a museum in a section of Tokyo called Mitaka. It is AMAZING. I felt like a four year old running up and down all the stairs and through all the secret passages and looking for all the hidden Miyazaki symbols - which ironically enough, I found out after I bought his book about the museum (since it included pictures and you can only take pictures of the exterior) was exactly what he intended. I LOVED the bouncing Totoro Zoetrope and the Laputa Garden/Tower on top of the building with the Laputa Soldier, and the Red Hat Cafe was really cute too!

Here are some links!
