Casey laughed, "I know, and I'll probably need the ten to find my next class. I'm new, remember?" he smiled a little. Seeing that she must have felt like crap too made him feel the need to be a little bit nicer to her. He was the one being the jerk at that point, and he wasn't sure he liked it, so he did a slight 180 in his attitude.

She laughed.
"Well what classroom are you going to?"
She asked. She wanted to help him, it was the least she could do.

He looked down at his schedule, "I have... science in room 147."

She sighed.
"Up the stairs, three classrooms to the right."
She said. She did a 180 then walked away.

He looked after she began walking away, "Uh... thanks, but that didn't help much." he told her in a hushed voice she may not have heard. He stared down at his schedule and then started walking towards where the stairs were. He at least knew where those were.

She yawned and walked to her locker. She opened it and took out one of her binders, a pen, and her math CD. She closed her locker and turned around. She was slammed in to her locker by a huge jock.
"Haha....Hi?"

Casey walked up the stairs and into the hall he was instructed. The room she said it was, it wasn't. He figured it was her last revenge on him. He looked at the clock on his phone and he still had seven minutes before class even started. He paused, unsure of whether to continue looking, or go back and give Ichigo a piece of his mind... and he was leaning towards the latter.

"Is that all you gotta say? Hi?"
He pulled her a few inches away then slammed her back.

She winced.
"Um....no...sir..."

After a minute, he decided to go find her. He walked down the stairs and turned the corner. He was walking down the hall when he heard her voice. Casey walked quicker toward it and then heard a guy's voice, and then a slam that sounded like the threw something at a locker. He slowed down suddenly, finally seeing what was going on. He froze, not sure what to do.

He smirked.
"You are just as stupid as they say."
He punched her face and her lip started bleeding.

She could feel the blood going down her cheek. She let out a small groan.

Casey dropped his stuff and spoke loudly, walking towards them, "You got a problem?" he asked the guy. Casey didn't know who he was or what trouble he was about to get in by messing with this guy, but he didn't really care. After watching him punch a girl, he was just pissed. Casey had been in tons of fights and knew he could hold his own against this guy. 'Must be a football player', Casey thought. When he didn't answer, Casey asked again, more slowly, "Do you have a problem?" The guy was a little bigger than Casey, but that didn't mean anything; Casey wasn't even intimidated.

He smirked and turned around.
"Hey shortie. Run along now, we got this."
He punched her in the stomach.

She bent over in an upside-down U. The sad part was, she didn't know why he was doing this. She knew him, but they had never really even talked.
"Casey...I'm fine...just go...don't get caught up."

Casey got even madder when he punched her in front of him, "I really think you should be on your way now, rock-boy." he told the guy, walking closer and grabbing Ichigo from him and pushing the guy out of the way. He gently moved her behind him, so he could stand in front, that way she wouldn't get hit again. He didn't know why he was getting so involved with this after what a jerk she was to him, but it just felt wrong to ignore this.

He kept his smirk across his face. He bent down and tossled Casey's hair.
"Go home and play with your barbies now."

She sat on the ground and looked up at Casey.
"Just leave him. It's not worth it."

Casey laughed, "Are you serious? What are you, twelve?" he laughed again, "Why don't you go pump some more steroids, you're lookin' a little flabby." he said, tapping the guy's stomach.
Casey completely ignored Ichigo. She obviously wasn't taking care of herself, and Casey couldn't walk away with a clean conscious if she kept getting the crap beaten out of her.

He smiled.
"You are the funniest guy around, you know that?"
He threw Casey against the vending machine and walked away.

"Oh yeah, I'm hysterical. I should write for comedy central." he said as the guy walked away. When he was gone, Casey walked back to where his stuff was and picked it up, completely ignoring Ichigo. He had nothing left to say to her. He looked down at his schedule and then at his watch. It had only taken him three minutes to go through that crap, and he four to go find his new classroom. He walked towards the stairs, not looking up from the paper in his hand.

She followed him and stepped in front of him.
"Thanks..."

He looked up from his paper at her, "No problem." he said simply, and waited for her to move. If she was going to be cold to him like she did when he needed help getting to class, then he was going to do the same to her.

She didn't move. She just stood there.
"Why aren't you in class?"
She thought she had given him the right directions.

Casey snorted, "I couldn't find it. The room you gave me was a faculty restroom." he told her. Now, he had to hurry up and find it on his own so he wasn't late.... but first, "Why aren't you? Or do you prefer getting beaten up in the middle of an empty hallway." There was still a few minutes till the lunch bell rang and the hall filled with students getting to class. Casey wanted to find his before that happened.

She looked at the step she was on.
"I thought that's where the classroom was..."
She felt really bad. He probably already hated her, this only made it then times worse.
"I was getting my stuff..."

"And?" he asked, "Why was he beating you up?" he felt the need to get a straight answer, especially since he was the one who just stepped in there.

She kept looking down but coughed silently.
"I...don't know..."

Casey tilted his head, "You just got your ass kicked and have no idea why? Did you even know that guy?" he asked, a look of anger and confusion on his face. He wasn't angry at her, per se, but the guy, he was definitely mad at.
