Is it true that Naruto Shippuuden is going to be on Disney XD channel....or some kind of channel?

Yep Naruto Shippuden is going to be on DisneyXD (in October) I think on the 28th of October. I'm excided about it.^^

Naruto Shippuden is being moved to Disney XD!?!?!?! BUT...BUT...i don't get that channel!!!! and why was it moved from Cartoon Network?

nah, I think it'll be on cartoon network. but I guess it's a possibility.....well i wont watch either way cause I just like to read the manga.......the naruto anime just takes to long with stuff, like to much pauses and dialogue.......to me anyways XP

I must agree. Besides, subs are so much better. The dubbed voices make me crindge.

Yeah, I don't understand why they didn't just put it on Adult Swim. But, if you remember Naruto aired on Toonami/Cartoon Network which had some good shows but also some really lame shows also.

From what I've read on wikipedia for Disney XD...they probably put Naruto Shippuden on there to get male children and teens from ages 9 to 14. I'm wondering if the networks were looking to see which age was watching Naruto and that's probably why Shippuden is on Disney XD. But still, I don't know if I would let a 9 year old watch Naruto Shippuden. There was a lot of fighting, violence and blood with the Naruto show and I believe there is some with Shippuden. But, whoever thought of putting it on Disney XD, guess we'll have to see how this works. Hopefully it does pretty good.

I noticed when I looked at October 28th for Shippuden they are showing the first 4 episodes back to back around 7pm. Then later that day they only show the first episode. Then in November will be the 5th episode. So, if anyone has Disney XD...make sure you get your DVR or VHS ready cause I know I will.

YaY! I'm really happy and all (I hate subs, cause I'm lazy like that) but is putting it on Disney XD such a great idea? I mean 1. it's Disney, for crying out loud (isn't it for younger kids like 4-8 or something like that?) and 2. not only do a lot of people not know about Disney XD, but I wasn't aware that Naruto was going to be on TV. (but maybe I don't watch enough TV)

I like Naruto........but I think the series just starts going downhill after the time skip. Though I do like that Sakura isn't such an annoying fangirl after the time skip. And the information that we end up learning after the time skip is useful too...but...gah...I think I conciously stopped watching the anime after the time skip happened...

I think the main reason I don't like the time skip is that it focuses on Sasuke...who I think turned into a whiny little bitch after the first encounter they have with his brother...the whiny bitchiness was more apparent after the chunin exams...but still...Sasuke just pisses me off really...if the stupid idiot would get his head out of his ass and actually see that he's hurting the only people who really care about him, maybe he'd stop being so annoying...I understand that he's stubborn, but he needs to learn that the world doesn't revolve around him and he should be more focused on starting over...you know? He let his revenge consume him, and he hurt the ones who care about him because of it...like Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi for example.

and I all of you raised up another issue...Shippuden does have a lot of gore in it...so that's gonna end up sucking big time because they'll probably end up editing most of it out...so I don't have very high expectations for it on Disney...if they put it on Adult Swim it actually might work out...but whatever...I don't really intend on watching it anyways...I don't like watching anime dubbed...it ends up sucking most of the time

I'm so psyed that Naruto shippuden was move to Disney. But for those of you who don't get toon disney. Check out www.naruto.com. I was watching it there.

Oh yeah they'll have to chop the series up. Theres alot more cursing in Shippuden as well. I hope we don't havae to go through yet another network editting out stuff like the nosebleeds.

i fear that the editing will be worse then when it was on cartoon networks toonami... it is disney for pete's sake... but after watching the 4 episodes earlier in the week i was only slightly annoyed, but over all i was pretty excited since it hasn't been on tv for quite sometime

If anyone here doesn't know...you can buy the 2 volumes of Naruto Shippuden in stores. I've bought mine. The 1st one has episodes 1 - 4 that you should've seen on Disney XD. The 2nd one will be the ones that we will be seeing soon episodes 5 - 8. I'm sooo happy. Now, I don't have to tape them on my VHS. I'm just waiting for the 3rd volume. I bought mine at an FYE store. You might be able to find them somewhere else.

Yea thats true but they took out all the fun loving and cursing.
Plus they took out all the bloody scenes is what ive heard.
Hidan's part i heard was cut out and all. not that good its way better if you just go to Naruto.com and watch the series with subs.

Disney XD made it horrible and deidara sounds so like a pedophile lol. like it sounded way better in jappanese and also you can get the old way at naruto.com they cut out the part i think when hidan's head got cut off and he was cursing up storm. i mean without the cursing its not gonna b the same characters many of us kno and lov. i have to admit its is a good series and all for the yonger veriety but its not to the adulter or pre teen veiwers that like the old one. i strongly recommend you peope go on Naruto.com itssss waaay better than disney. Naruto 4ever ninja yumyum away ~poof~!
