Hey I've been doing some art for a while and I've been perfecting my style bit by bit. This is some older work (about 4 months ago) and I was wondering what anybody thought about it.

If anybody thinks I'm any good then I plan on continuing drawing and painting ^_^ otherwise I'm going to drop it and find another hobby such as photography. lol. most of them are rough sketches though haha

Any opinions, good or bad, are welcome.

comic I did for the paper

rough sketch for a drawing I want to do in detail

Yet another rough sketch

This one I did fairly quick and its the lastest thing that I have posted haha. It was about 1 1/2 months ago

My lovely abstract work.

More abstract art

My friend PJ (quick sketch)

And more abstract art. Haha

^___^ i hope you like them

Hi, strangeland! Since you appear to be looking for feedback, not to draw peoples' avatars for free, I'm going to move this on over to Art Post. Do mind which forums you're posting in when making a topic. ^^

If you did intend for this to be a freebie post, edit something in your post to say as much, and then PM an online moderator with a link to this thread and they'll move it back for you. :)

I definitly(?) like the girl whose sort of bending over and she's sticking out her arm. The depth is really snazzy. =3

You have some great perspective and your hands are good too! I would suggest working on your anatomy a little more. ;3

I like your abstract work more than anything. Especially the one with heart.
Like Mitsuki said, work on anatomy a little bit. It'll show amazing changes in your stuff. Try finding sites with models or something. I would say nude models are the best to work from, but I'm not sure if you're willing to do that haha~

Keep it up!

haha yeah well keep in mind these were also done about a month and a half ago. I change my style alot...I used to like exaggerating the bodies to where they were super tall and elegant looking, and then I started making them super anime style lol. It changes around quite a bit. Now my style is more realistic and the bodies are more realistic as well. haha. I know its weird. But I like to change it up until I find a drawing style that I fall completely in love with and refuse to change it. So far I've found bits and pieces...but no complete thing.

Wow those are fan and very original, I particularly like the one with the guys heart coming out of his chest, i'm a sucker for black and white with hints of colour!

I think you have a lot of potential. The first one is really cute, then the second one is really neat/pretty. I think you must be a very creative person to make such things ^^

Hehe. Thank you. A lot of the things that I draw are actually things that my friends joke around about me doing (like me encountering a panda haha). Other things are just feelings that I'm having at the moment, like "having my heart ripped out". Haha. Its not really that creative haha. But thank you ^_^

Finding a style that you never want to change is a bad thing, actually xD You should always want to improve, no matter how good you think you are. There is always going to be someone who will have a good criticism that will stand out to you. And that's the beauty of art, and of improving.

hmm....touche. LoL. I just want to find a style that I'm roughly comfortable with. I hate the fact that I'll look back and be like 'wow...I wanna draw that again". And when I try, I cant because my drawing style has changed too much. Haha. I want to stay roughly around the same things when doing different types of art. LoL. If that makes any sense haha.

Hmm...But I guess that's one of the big challenges of art. Having to move on and not go back...right??

Perspective and anatomy could use some work but they are good. Though that one with the girl giving the peace sign needs work on the perspective I think. :P I dunno something looks just a little off to me.
I like how you shade though! Also I like the fact that you use different subjects. I get really tired of just looking at boring anime girls all doing the same thing all the time. Though I would add something more to your art. Try using other mediums maybe and add some colour! This will make each new peice stand out from the other!

Hope I could help a bit! :D

You said you were going to start photography or something if drawing didn't work for you? I say, keep drawing! These are great, something I would copy/paste into my fav pics folder or something. Although you seem to have a pretty good eye for stuff so you would probably rock at photography too. I love the comic! Especially with the little human crackers ^_^. And the guy with his heart getting ripped out, sad but I like the style. In fact, I like your style in general. Good job.

hehe thanks.
Although lately because of my huge artist block with drawing I'm going to paint stuff for a while. Im apparently 10x better at painting than at drawing so when I upload some of that stuff, you should check it out. ^_^

These are all very stunning! I say don't give it up! You have the talent for it. I really love your line work--it's so smooth and clean. Your abstract stuff is really impressive, too. Fantastic work!

haha. Thank you. After alot of critiques here and on other sites, I've finally decided to stick with it...just for now I'm going to paint until I get my artist block out of the way. Painting is the only thing I've ever been able to do when I have an artist block, and it seems to be BEST when I can't draw at all haha.

Wow. All of your stuff looks really awesome. I love your comic and you can draw females really well! Maybe a little more work on the male side, they are kinda stickly but aren't all males like that? So difficult to draw without the curves :P Nice job though, very good!

FINALLY! SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS THE DIFFICULTY OF DRAWING MALES! haha. I seriously suck at drawing them because they're too straight...not enough curve or flex

If you like to draw never quit. That geos for anything in life just enjoy it and have fun. Especially since you're good at it.
