Tabitha shuddered when allie came close

Allie looked at his hand and burst out in high pitched wild laughter, "OHHH LOOKIE HERE MISTER GENTLEMAN!" her face seemed to distort and her mouth grew wide like she didnt have a jaw, "DONT BE ACTING ALL NICE TO ME IM HERE TO MAKE YOUR GIRLFRIENDS" she pointed a finger at tabitha, "AND YOU LIFE AS HORRIBLE AS POSSIBLE!"

The half angel sighed and stood easily, standing up a moment and headed towards him only to see the note. Asking light to keep track of him she reached down, picking up the something to see what it was. She tilted her head to the side, looking at the note as well. “Stubborn Ai… I’ll catch up.” She thought to herself mildly….

"Oh, really? Now why would you do that?" Akuma asked, letting his hand fall, "And yea, I'm not a gentlemen, just thought I'd be nice is all. It's how I greet everyone."

Ai flopped onto his bed, yes flopped. He was tired, emotionally and physically, but mostly mentally, he was losing his inner battle and he knew it. He suddenly rolled over and coughed up blood. He watched as his blood congealed on the floor before picking himself up and going to clean it, he paused by his cloak and noticed that he had dropped the box containing the earring he had made, 'For someone with a will strong enough to fight, and yet know when to stop...I guess she found it...' he smiled bitterly before continuing on into the bathroom to get a washcloth.

Know when to stop? Yes she did….never. She opened the earring but was already following the light towards Ai. She knew something was wrong, and she would never let him destroy himself simply because he was too like her…….to use to fighting every battle for herself. Kari sighed, simply running a hand through her hair.

She arrived quickly at the house, feeling an energy fading…and the energy of pain growing higher. She shook her head, muttering that he was an idiot to herself and pushing the earring in her pocket with tears in her eyes. She used the light to twist the door knob and ran through out the door without pause, heading for him. “Ai…stop it your’e just hurting both of us.” She murmured her voice for once genuine almost sweet as she wrapped a hand around his and half trapping him in the door way. She reached up touching the blood on the corner of his lips.

Ai froze, she wasn't supposed to follow him. His eyes remained passive, empty really, when he finally looked down at her, "I have no idea what you are talking about my lady, if you will please let go of me, I have some business to take care of."

And I suppose this blood isn’t yours” she said, raising an eyebrow. “Stop treating me like I’m a child or an idiot. Telling me can’t hurt, what your doing now…..Is. I care about you Idiot…. I’m not going anywhere.” Kari replied simply, putting her free hand on her hip and not letting go of his hand. She was insulting, commanding, stubborn, but it was more a cover for her fear then anything. She felt ….almost a need to have him around that she didn’t understand.

"I am not treating you like a child, and I never said it wasn't my blood. And I would never call you an idiot. But I am only doing what is best for you. If you don't leave me be, you will be hurt. You can get over this." Ai replied, voice icy as he averted his eyes.

I’m being hurt now. I will not leave…You can‘t make me.” Kari paused a moment, and suddenly gripped both his cheeks. She whispered softly “and I don’t think you really want me to” she then gripped him closer kissing him deeply and through it transferring all the positive energy she could. Without realizing it she was casting the most powerful of angel’s blessing…blessing of the heart.

Ai winced when he felt the energy enter his body, 'No...what is she...' He couldn't finish his thoughts though when he felt himself being thrust from his body, his last bit of strength having deserted him, he caught a brief glance at who now occupied his body before he was pulled out of the building and deep into the surrounding forest.

She felt something change, the energy shifting and for that Kari paused and stepped back. She studied him a moment thoughtfully, “Ai?” She asked tilting her head to the side. She was curious but not to worried yet…even though the light was tugging her towards the forest and she was unsure why. Probably that was just where Ai wanted her to go wanting to run away again…

'huh...that was much easier than I thought...' he smiled at the girl, "What?" He answered. There was a slight tingling in his (insert the ear I said all Ai's piercing's were in) ear. he gave it no thought though as he raised an eyebrow at the girl, "I thought I told you to leave me alone."

"What happened?" Ai hissed out loud. Death stepped up beside him, "Somebody else got in, must have slipped by my defenses...or he was sent to your body on purpose." Ai sighed bringing his hand up and pushing his hair back, "I didn't know there'd be this much trouble by me just attending school..." Death put a hand on Ai's shoulder, "You will need to find that friend of yours, the other half-vampire, he can help you get a body." He continued on to explain the spells needed and the symbols to draw. When Death was done Ai nodded, "Thank you."

Kari let out a huff of air, whispering “Since when do I ever listen to anyone” She said matter of factly. Something felt off…. His lips… they felt colder somehow, like the spark she usually felt from them was gone. Kari didn’t obey much, but her instincts she did. So she put her hands on her hips, releasing his hand as she inwardly pulled at her powers a moment and stepped back out of the door way so he could get by. What was wrong with Ai?

He glanced at the girl as he walked by, he would need to convince her that nothing was wrong. Now...to see what he looked like, where was the bathroom again?

Ai's spirit flickered for a moment and then he fell to the floor again, 'Who knew it would be this difficult to move?' Finally he spotted the light emanated by Akuma's spirit/soul energy. He wrapped it around his hand and closed his eyes. Opening them a moment later to find himself next to Akuma's bed where he sat with his arms around Tabitha and another ghost girl standing next to them.

Kari sighed inwardly, watching as she walked away. That friend of his….maybe he’d know something. She opened the door slowly, leaving the dorm and heading to pace the hallway a moment. She had more trouble peaking through the light for him, not knowing where to find him. It took a moment but she soon found him and began walking towards him, her eyes downcast. Ai…. He could make her whole body tingle… now he could not? What had changed…

(you realize I just backed myself into a corner? i can't type anything until Kitty comes back >.<)

Tabitha shuddered and started bawling, "Akuma make her go away" she sobbed

This made allie smile her wild smile, "Yes make me go away" she hissed at him. Looking at tabitha allie snarled and grabbed a handful of her silver hair and pulled on it as hard as she could. Her smile widened when tabitha screamed.

Ai didn't know when he moved, or how he even had the enrgy to but he did and soon he found himself holding the dead girls arm p in the air, and very much away from Tabitha. "What are you doing?" He asked, eyes narrowing.

As soon as Ai had moved, so had Akuma. He quickly brought Tabitha with him to the corner farthest from the other girl, setting her gently on the floor and covering her with a blanket before turning around and standing protectively before her. He cast a glance at Ai, "...do I even want to know why you're not in a body?"

He yawned, he had long since located a mirror and now he was lying on the bed staring at the ceiling. There wasn't anything to do.

Kari walked towards the Akuma, feeling strange energy before her. She entered the room, speaking softly “Akuma….somethings up with Ai….” She said softly as she walked into the room. Her eyes dark and worried, her hand briefly touching her lips as she feared she’d have to explain to him how she knew….the tingle Ai gave her……but then she saw Ai. “Ai ….oh no…” She whimpered, thinking that maybe he’d died while she was walking over here.

His eyes widened when he saw Kari, "What...shit!" Ai cursed when Allie managed to get a swipe at his arm, he threw her into the nearby wall and grabbed her by the neck with his uninjured hand. Then he turned back to Kari, his other arm hanging by his side, a dark-purplish substance leaking out of it. He saw her eyes flicker to it and he smiled bitterly, "I'm a creature of darkness, you must remember my lady."

(just got back from trick-or-treating lost count of how far I walked, my feet hurt... >.<)

“So am I technically, what the hell do I care? I’m more worried that you have no body….. Was that why you felt different suddenly…” She asked, all emotion for now. She ran over towars him, wishing to grab onto him but not able to yet. She simply bit her lip, for once no trace of anything but seriousness and worry in her gaze….

"Hn." Ai turned his gaze away from Kairi, "My body...no, it's not my body anymore. It seems someone was sent to occupy the body in an attempt to get rid of me. I don't think it's cause someone was able to get past Death and find the body, the one that won't decay. There's to much luck involved...either way, I need your help Akuma."

Akuma nodded his head but did not move from his position.
