Tabitha looked up at akuma, "why?" she felt like a little kid. she looked down at her hands and her eyes widened at her nails, she had painted them red to match her eyes, now they were black. "thats weird"

"Well uhmm...you see...the spell only makes a body not..." Akuma laughed nervously and then called over the side of the bed, "There's some stuff you can wear in the top drawer of the dresser."

((Has been reading along while I work on the other stupid stuff I have to do for a while* lol xD. I so wish I could have Kari walk in on that, that would be hilarious XD but I can't))

Tabithas eyes widened and she giggled. "oh okay" her voice sounded far off, she was lost in thought staring at her nails. 'how did that get that color? they were red not that long ago'

(actually you could, seeing as the other guy went for a walk you could have Kari decide to go check in on them and then she walks in XD that would be funny and actually, truth is, I'm supposed to be doing homework right now, so I'm multi-tasking ^^)

Kari walked in slowly, worried at the moment. She didn’t know where the fake Ai was walking and part o her wondered if he’d head here. She opened the door, throwing it open in that careless way she often did. “Akuma I-…..”She paused, getting that same feeling in the pit of her stomach that she did from Ai..only stronger due to the fact he was well…..nude. Why…. But was that Ai? She wasn’t sure…all she knew was it felt the same and she was forced to look away. For the first time in her life she was red as a tomato AND speechless.

Ai froze when the door opened, well this wasn't going to be pleasant. When he hear Kari's voice though his face took on a tint of pink. 'Right...how to explain this...' While he mulled over his thoughts he quickly walked over to Akuma's dresser and pulled out some clothes. When he finished dressing he was in a pair of loose fitting black cargo pants and a red unbuttoned shirt, which showed off his chest. He hadn't had time to look in a mirror yet and so walked over to one. He noted that his piercings had followed through his spirit and were still in his ear, just in the left one now instead of the right. His eyes were a dark red now, like blood. He understood that, but his hair...it was slightly longer than shoulder length and layered, with a few spikes here and there, also it was the color of the midnight sky. It was a very dark blue but with streaks running through it, silvery streaks that seemed to glow whenever he moved. Finally he turned back around to Kari, noticing that she was still facing away from him, "You...I'm decent now." He said.

Akuma couldn't help it anymore, he burst out laughing, "This is better than a comedy show!" he exclaimed letting go of Tabitha and falling into view of a glaring Ai, "...uhmm...oops?"

Tabitha was too lost in thought to notice akuma laughing and letting go of her. she was trying to figure out why allie wanted to kill her and why her nails were black when they were supposed to be red.

Akuma finally noticed tabitha's eerie silence and sat up, "Tabitha? What's wrong?" He noticed her looking at her nails, noting the color he thought back, "Oh..." He turned around again, "Ai! did you happen to do anything while you were still in spirit form other than attack Allie?"

Tabitha jumped alittle and looked at akuma and then to ai and then to the girl in the door way. "wait what happened?"

Ai shrugged, "Maybe a little messing around here or there with some files."

Tabitha looked at her nails again and then played with a strand of red tipped hair. She was lost in thought again.

Decent…. That was an understatement. Something about him….Kari flushed still, shaking her head to look up again and see his clothing. “Red’s definitely your color.” She teased, glancing towards the laughing Akuma. She raised an eyebrow, debating between yelling him and throwing the nearest object at him when he shut up. She looked back towards Ai, crossing her arms and trying to make her blush fade. “Now will you tell me what the hells going on?” She asked quietly, trying to keep her eyes on his and the image of his nude form out of her head.

Ai let a laugh escape his lips before putting his hands into his pocket and slouching slightly, a small smile gracing his lips as he answered, "This form...is what my soul truly looks like, you can say." His smile turned into a smirk, "Though you can say it really looks like what you saw when you walked in." He didn't know why, something about this girl just made him...act so much more openly then he was used to...yet it was refreshing in a way.

Lucky Soul…” She muttered, trying to tease him though really succeeding only in making her blush came back as his words drifted through her head…and the sight that they matched. She shook her head, running a hand through her chin length hair. “Tease…” Kari finally added, walking a little closer and putting her hands on her hips. “So…..who is in your other body then….” she asked finally, hoping he knew and that her father had nothing to do with it for once.

Ai took a hand out of his pocket and ran it through his hair, ruffling it, "Somebody...i only managed to catch a glimpse. I suppose you know him though, seeing as your mother sent him. That much I could tell. No it wasn't your father this time...seems your mother really doesn't trust me..." He then let his hand caress Kari's face softly, "You shouldn't trust me either..." he murmured.

She doesn’t trust anyone… not even me” Kari whispered softly in reply, tilting her head to the side towards his hand. She simply felt like melting, her heart beating a little faster. At the last sentence though she chuckled, her eyes looking up into his as she reached out to touch his shoulders. “I don’t let anyone make my decisions for me honey and that includes you. “ She then acted on instinct as she always did, leaning forward and pressing her lips to his.

he wanted to respond, he really did, but he couldn't not when he knew he would only end up hurting her, and so he pushed her away lightly, looking away, "I mean it Kari...you don't understand me yet, not completely."

“You don’t understand.” Kari mimicked, tossing her raven hair. He’d said the magic phrase to piss her off you see. “So my father and my mother tell me….have every day since I was born. What nobody seems to understand is I can make my own damn choices on the information that matters to ME, not them or the rest of the whole damn world. I’m attracted to you because your attractive nitwit, learn to deal with it because that’s what matters to me. You make me actually feel like I want to be around, and that‘s not a privilege I get much. It may be wrong or stupid but it’s what I WANT and nobody, No one, is ever going to tell me what that is no matter how many times they tell me I don’t understand or what they are.” She curled her free hand into a fist, the other against her hip as she simply stared at him. Why did everyone seem to think they knew what’s best for her without telling her why or asking her what SHE wanted or thought was important….


((yeah <.<, really not the phrase to use around Kari XD. ))

Ai sighed, "Tch. Fine, do what you want." he said finally, he was drained and it showed by the way he was slouching and in his eyes, he was tired and pained, and it all reflected from his eyes. He gave up for once, he just gave up. "Do what you want." he repeated and then walked softly out of the room.

She calmed a moment though still a little angry and turned, walking right out after him. She gripped his shoulder, sighing softly before whirling in front of him and kissing him again. “You DID say do what I want. Now Start talking and stop doing that….closing down thing, just tires you out and pisses me off…” She said in a frustrated tone. Unlike Ai it was very clear Kari did not give up when it came to getting what she wanted…….and for once she knew exactly what that was.
