Tabby looked at Akuma and smiled, "well im completely vampire so i guess im worse huh?"
She looked at hirogashi when he came back, "yeah whatever was screeching messed me up alittle and i kinda dug my nails into the side of my head, damn vampire strength" she sighed.

Kari sighed and looked up, beginning to try and pull up her usual façade…hating this vulnerability. She would do anything to erase what they just saw. Her parents…neither one were something she exactly liked people to know about. Her mother had just shown why… though often those who did not have dark blood to sense could never understand…she was so kind and rational around them.

She looked towards Ai, raising an eyebrow and half teasing “and now we’re back to trying to get rid of me…. “ Kari trailed off, concern in her features. He’d caught her off guard you see, when he’d tried to defend her from her mother. No one had ever really done that before…well nobody that wasn’t trying to get her to join her father anyway. “Seriously though… what’s up.” She asked, knowing it could be dangerous but not caring and touching his shoulder instead of walking away.

She glanced as Hiro spoke and then flew away, thinking that she knew the feeling. “I’m sorry…” she whispered softly, not sure if he could hear her. Not sure if even Ai could hear her and figuring neither would care anyway. She knew how it felt when her mother was liek this...

After Hirogashi arrived Akuma finally let his guard drop and slumped over, unconcious. He was completely drained, all the tension in the air had been grating on him for so long he finally collapsed under the pressure.

Ai could slightly hear Kari faintly in the back of his mind as pain coursed through his body. He cerainly felt when she touched him though, his skin felt like it had gone on fire and he gasped, this hadn't happened to him...in a really long time, not since, he growled in the back of his throat, no he wasn't going to remember, he didn't need to, he didn't want to.

Alana got a headache from the reading. She walked outside to the school grounds and seeing Kari and some girl talking she ran up to them and smiled.

"Hey guys whats going on?" She asked wondering what was going on. The emotional battle here was making her head hurt worse.

"Im senceing some real negative energy. What is wrong?" She asked trying to block off the emotions she was feeling.

Tabbys eyes grew wide when she saw akuma pass out, she crawled over to him and shook his shoulders gently, "Akuma, akuma wake up!" she looked at hirogashi. "i think he passed out" she stated lamely.

uhmm just wondering but where are you right now? kari is with Ai so she can't be talking to Hirogashi...

Kari looked over at Alana, giving her a pained smile. “Nothing, I just pissed someone off again, you know the usual” She explained, choosing to leave out the fact that the person she’d made angry and crazy was her mother this time. She then turned to Ai, feeling the energy if not the emotion.

She kneeled slightly, crouching in front of him as she studied him. It reminded her of her own attacks honestly. She knew this was connected to emotions though, as he’d spoken of it. She pulled a bit of healing energy to her finger tips, touching him ever so gently. She suspected it was not something she could heal but she knew she could dull the pain with this particular healing energy. It would not erase it… but it would dull it a little.

Hirogashi sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose,"Oh boy, where is his dorm?" As he asked the question he lifted Akuma of the ground and over his shoulder. He offered his free hand to Tabby,"Come on, we're flying there, if you know where it is."

"he shares a dorm with me i think but i dont remember how to get there" she sighed as she looked at him. She took his hand unsure about this flying he wanted to do.

When she took his hand, he flew up into the air and easily found their dorm. He slowly descended to the front door, letting go of Tabby's hand so she could get out the key to the dorm,"All you now."

She looked at Kari lean over this guy. She bent down looking at him.

"WHo is this?" She asked confused. SHe had never seen him before.

"And um Kari can you please tell Kage Im sorry for just running off earlier I um was having a problem."

Sighing again she turned and unclipped the key from a chain on her pants. Unlocking the door she backed up and waited for hirogashi to take akuma inside.

Hirogashi walked into the dorm and to the first bedroom he could find. When he got inside the bedroom, he threw Akuma onto the bed and walked out and over to the kitchen, grabbing a mopping bucket from a cabinet, filling it up with water from the sink, and walked back into the bedroom and threw the water in the bucket at Akuma,"Wake up!"

Tabitha watched and stifled a giggle when hirogashi dumped a bucket of water on akuma, "well that wasnt very nice" she said quietly. she leaned against the doorway her ruby red eyes glowing slightly in the dim room.

“This is Ai, one of the guys I scare the hell out of.” She explained only half teasingly. Kari’s lip twitched, looking over at Alana as she spoke. “And don’t worry, Kage knows. He reviews all my memories when he wakes up. And I’ll never hide one with you” She stated with a wink, a look of almost gratitude on her features. They both knew the exception to this rule.

Ai felt the pain dull a bit and then before he knew what he was doing he grabbed Kari's wrists and pulled her down, his lips pressing onto hers. He really hated his emotional attacks right then.

Cold. Was the first thought to swim into Akuma's head. He groaned and his eyes flew open to see Hirogashi glaring down at him, geez what had he done wrong now?

Hirogashi was disappointing, all he got out of him was just his eyes barely opening. He knew exactly what would get him going though. He walked over Tabby, grabbed her hand and led her over to where Akuma could see him clearly. He smiled a big grin before doing what he was about to do, then he kissed Tabby, on the lips, passionately.

Tabbys eyes widened, 'what is he doing!' her thoughts screamed. she thought about pushing him away but soon her eyes closed and she found herself kissing him back. her lips moving along with his.

She gasped lightly at the sudden grip of her wrist, looking over at him and looking as if she expected an attack. What she did expect she wasn’t sure, all she knew was she did NOT expect what she got. She shivered a little in shock, actually blushing. Apparently she was only flippant about kisses if she was the one in control and giving them out.

Kari let the kiss continue a moment longer then she turned her head away, not quite trying to pull her wrists free as she was honestly that shocked. “Ai, I really don’t think you want to do that…” She responded shakily, looking up at Alana with a ‘help me’ look that was almost amusing on the normally so well held together girl.

Alana froze watching them kiss and then burst out laughing

"That was completely random. Im guessing you two have known each other for a while. Listen Kari when your done with your boyfreind I would like to talk to Kage."

She grabbed Kari and tried to pull her up and out of his grasp.

"Golly girl time to lose some wieght."SHe gasped tugging on her. "Im joking but dang hes got a grip on him."

“What ? No.. Just met… He… He ran away when he saw me and now he… Oh dear god I sound as shy and uncertain as my brother…ewww…” Kari stated, clearly briefly just spilling out what she was thinking without a second thought. She then felt Alana start to pull her away and with a blush gave a grateful if faint smile.

“I yeah… thanks, erm… I’m going to let you talk to Kage now…” she stated softly, after bending next to him and holding her hand next to Ai. She gently weaved the light around her hand a moment, causing a small cat made out of light to appear. It would make sure that if he got bad again it come get her and release the same pain dulling energy she’d been releasing. She then stood, stepping close to Alana. She then went to hide in the back of her mind, telling herself that he just didn’t know what he was doing that’s all….He didn’t know it was her…yeah that’s it. Thought she was someone else.





As Kage found himself back in control he blinked, perplexed a moment. He then looked up to see Alana, briefly wondering what had made Kari run from the world but quickly focusing on the girl before him. “Heh… h…hi there.” He stated softly, running a hand through his silky black hair, wanting to say something but not sure. Things were just happening so fast…. And what had happened earlier?

Alana looked at him and smiled.

"Long time no chat. Hows things hangin?"

Alana grabbed his hand and pulled him onto a bench with her. She closed her eyes and concentrated on her emotions trying to control them this time.

"Sorry I ran earlier...........I was having problems."

“I .. I can’t even predictably be in my own body, trust me I understand.” He replied with a soft smile, letting himself being pulled along. He blushed a little and held her hand, gazing at the ground a moment with a blush. He kicked a bit of dirt, thinking of his emotions and trying desperately to control them. He needed to think things through first…didn’t he? He knew this really was why Kari liked her so much, He seemed to get his emotions all riled up whenever he was around Alana, He just didn’t have his usual self control.

Alana looked at him a moment trying to figure out what he was thinking. She felt his emotions. Love was there and it seemed to have some sorrow mixed in along with a bit of anger. These could all be toward his sister she told herself. Theres no reason why he would be feeling anything toward me. She tried to convince herself of this.
