"No. No hospitals, just...just help me back inside and call for one of the vampires, they'll know what to do. Just keep Michi away love. She doesn't need to see me like this." Riku whispered, his eyes closed to save his vision from the blinding glare of the sun.

she nodded "alright"S he said gently as she picked him up, she was strong from her life as a slayer carrying him was no chore for her although she still poked fun at him " how is that your so heavey?" She asked teasingly. she steathly found her way back to his room and layed him down then ran off for a vampire.

Riku rolled his eyes, "I may or may not be wearing some weights to limit my movements." he replied and then sighed heavily as he collapsed onto the bed, slinging his still functional arm over his eyes.

She sighed and rolled her eyes at him as she left she cornered the frist vampire she saw " I need your help come with me" She said speaking as if she were a vampire clan leader she realized this and shook her head why did she adapt that tone?

the vampiress Yasmin had cornered blinked but complied, for she was the same vampiress Riku had told to protect the human slayer before, "What is the matter?" She asked, her voice like bells.

" riku got into a fight on the roof and is injured" She informed the vampire talking normally now, no trace of her earlier firmness.

"Sounds like him." she replied. "My name's Alli by the way, it's nice to meet you."

Riku heard the two girls talking outside and couldn't surpress the smile on his lips, the others were warming up to the young slayer...that was a good thing.

she smiled lightly " I'm yasmin" she said to the other women, she still didn't like vampires she was only here for one reason and one reason alone.

Alli inclined her head in acknowledgement and then hurried to Riku's side, the two having a murmured conversation. Then Riku turned his eyes to Yasmin, "You might want to leave now love, Alli tells me Michi is in my study down the hall."

she nodded and left without another word she'd have to break him put of his habit of calling her love.

Riku relaxed slightly under the pressure Alli exerted on his arm, "This might hurt a bit." she warned. Riku laughed humorlessly, "I would think so."

Yasmin found his study and peeked inside seeing michi she smiled " hey michi would you like to come get some ice cream with me?" She asked the child deciding it might be best to distract her with sweets.

Michi looked up from the drawing she had been working on and smiled at Yasmin nodding. She quickly hopped from her chair and skipped over to where Yasmin was, taking he hand, "Is Bwig Bwother coming too?"

Yasmin took her hand and shook her head " no michi riku isn't coming he's sleeping but he said we'd all have dinner together tonight when he wakes up ok?" She told the young girl

Michi nodded, "Okay then." She skipped alonside Yasmin, her small hands completely dwarfed by Yasmin's bigger hands.

Riku groaned as Alli moved onto his bruised ribs, just healing his arm had hurt like hell, the ribs shouldn't have hurt more than a broken arm.

Yasmin quickly got michi out of the house before she could try to go see riku. she smiled at michi and took her to a small ice cream shop not to far off.

Michi stared with wide eyes at all the ice-cream tubs in the shop, "Whoa..."

"Thanks Alli." Riku murmured, rotating his shoulder a few times to see if it was completely healed. The vampiress smiled and nodded, "No problem, after all we all do owe you so much already." Riku shook his head, "I've already told you, just let it go, you don't owe me anything, now let's go start on dinner, I expect Yasmin and Michi will take some time at the ice-cream shop, I haven't had time to bring Michi there yet."

yasmin smiled down at the small child and lifted her up. so she could see the ice cream, not just the side of the tube it was held in. " So what would you like?" She asked her

"Uhmm...mint chip!" Michi cried out the first name she saw and pointed at the tub of light green ice cream with chocolate bits in it.

Riku pulled pans out of the cupboard again and handed them to Alli, who in turn placed them on the stove, "Alright so, I'll tell you what to get me and you just get it to me." Alli nodded and the two set to work on making a dinner big enough for the entire household.

Yasmin smiled and ordered her a small single scoop not wanting to spoil her dinner later. she then ordered her self a strawberry scoop. the person behind teh counter nodded and made the cones he handed them to her after she payed. "alright lets go sit and eat" Yasmin said giving Michi her cone.

Michi nodded and moved to a table near the windows, "Let's sit here Bwig Sis!"

Yasmin smiled and sat down across from the happy child. she wondered Idyll if her family had realized she had deserted them yet?

Michi looked up at Yasmin and observed her expression quietly. She noted the distant look in her eyes and quickly resumed eating her ice-cream when the older girl looked back at her.

"Those two should be getting back soon, tell everybody to get ready will you Alli? I need some...alone time I think it's called." Riku asked. Alli complied and was gone in the next second. The table had been set and the food was done, now it was time for people to come and eat. Riku sank into the closest chair and placed his head into his hands, thinking about what had happened last night.

as if her thoughts had summoned them a member of her family walked in. she jumped as she notice him but he did not notice her as his back was still to them.
" michi come on time to go" she said lightly throwing her own ice cream out the child could keep hers but she'd need her hands to carry her back with.

"Okay bwig sis." Michi answered in a small voice. The person that had just entered had a very disconcerting aura around them and it made Michi feel kinda sick and she was shaking slightly now.
