Riku dragged air in softly between his parted lips as he glared at the boy...Drake, if he had heard correctly. He didn't dare reveal himself though, not yet.

"oh no, little cousin you see you've enraged are leader. he wishes to see you immediately" he said as he picked up the struggling girl who was obviously fighting with all her strength.

Riku's posture straightened itself out immediately. His back was rigid as his fingers clenched and unclenched, who did this boy think he was? Actually handling a young woman like that!

yasmin sighed as he did not put her down. she hit Drake in his kidney hard enough for him to go down on one knee and drop her.
" go to hell" She said as she aimed a well placed kick to his temple effectually killing him when he was down. she did not feel right about the kill it was a dishonorable one but she did not have time for that right now.

"Huh, and here she was telling me that he was stronger than her..." he murmured quietly to himself.

AS she turned her back he rose from the pavement " now was that meant to hurt?" he asked eyes gleaming as he threw a small set of throwing knifes at her. she dodged most of them but a few lodge themselves into her shoulder and wrist on the left side.

He had hurt her. Black hot fury rose from the pit of Riku's stomach as he watched, no, he couldn't interfere. Not now, this was her fight, Riku could only hope she would pull through.

She pulled the knifes out of her Arm. blood squirted out and continued to flow unabated down to the pavement creating a pool. her arm was useless now, she knew this but at lest she'd us his own weapons against him. he lunged at hr and she dodged deflecting more of his knifes. however as he passed her he drew a long sword she hadn't seen on him, he stabbed her through the stomach impaling her on the sword
" now I believe you have no choice Little one" HE said his voice dark and alluring while she lost concesnoues.

That was the last straw. Riku stepped out, the wind around him swirling dangerously. "Put. Her. Down." He stated, his voice an icy tone he hadn't used since he had been sealed away.

he turned to face him and rose an eyebrow
" So your the one she left us for?" he asked looking him up and down a vampire master, how fun. well he didn't have the time to deal with him right now, he took out a small black orb and chucked it at him. if it hit it would send out parlaying electrical waves allowing Drake to leave with Yasmin.

"Don't play games with me boy. How many lifetimes do you think I've lived?" Riku hissed, batting the orb away with a flick of his wrist. A small shock went through his body, nothing he couldn't handle though.

He smiled at that and dropped his cousin, Literally. she landed hard on the pavement the sound of a bone or two snapping could be heard as he stepped over her to get to him. he had his sword at the ready " well if your wish to die is so strong why not" He said simply as he lunged blade rasied.

Riku growled and held his hand out, sword appearing in his hand and he lunged as well, ready to parry Drake's attack, "It is you with the death wish."

Drake Laughed as the sound of metal on metal clanged out through the deserted streets. " we shall see then wont we?" He asked mocking him as he pushed forwards on his weapon hoping to off balance the vampire.

Riku grit his teeth, fangs flashing as he pushed back with a greater force. This boy was silly if he thought he could overpower him. Riku's memories slowly surfaced, swordfighting with his mentors, sparring with his friends. But that was all a long time ago. They were all gone now. That thought fueled Riku's determination to win. It was all the hunters' faults. If he hadn't been sealed he would have been able to end with them, his family, his friends, his love.

OOc: i find it funny how he isn't realizing he is fighting for one of them as well >.>

Drake gave a small grunt at the force he swept his foot out and around trying to hook the vampire's legs to throw him to the ground.

Riku's back met the ground for a moment before he kicked out at Drake's legs while quickly rolling back to his feet.

((nah, he knows it, it's just she's more friend than foe now ya'know?"

Drake had been trying to stab riku in the heart while he was down, however his own legs were quickly swept from under them. he fell heavily on his stomach his sword falling just out f his reach. Drake tried to scramble up and to his weapon.

Riku grabbed the back of Drake's shirt and threw him in the opposite direction of his weapon, straight into a wall. Then he leaned over and picked up the weapon, his own sword having dissipated a moment ago. He hissed lightly when the weapon burned his hand, it hurt but not enough for him to relinquish his hold. Then he turned his eyes back to Drake.

Drake knew when he was out matched, he'd have to go gather the clan for this one. " well played vampire, we shall meet again" he said lamely as he ran off. leaving his cousin passed out and bleeding on the ground.

Riku threw the weapon to the side in disgust, "Coward." he muttered before moving to Yasmin's side, "Can you hear me love?"

She did not stir from his words, while Drake and riku had been fighting her breathing had become steadily more shallow and labored.

Riku cursed, she was dying. He could save her but...that would mean making her hate him for the rest of eternity...He took in a deep breath, first things first, he had to move her to a safer location.

The bleeding from her stomach and other injures incurred while fighting her cousin had to be stopped, other wise she'd make it to the safer location.

He pressed his mouth to the wounds and traced them with his tongue, sealing them up. That would at least stop the bleeding. Riku then stooped over and picked up her body and then started to make his way back to the manor, trying to ignore the burn of his throat.
