she only got to about the city's main road. she couldn't go home nor could she us any of her credit cards if any of her family found her she would die by they're hands. she sighed and simply headed into the woods she had a small tree house there when she was a child she had kept it up just encase she needed to disappear and well she needed it now.

Riku sighed, it had been a few hours since the slayer, Yasmin, had come calling. He decided that that was enough time for her to cool off and then set off to go look for her.

she had fallen back asleep on the hard wooden floor of the tree house. she had forgotten o lock the door when she climbed into it.

Riku followed Yasmin's scent into a forest and soon found himself standing under a small treehouse. he sighed before climbing up and pushing the unlocked door open. Once inside he saw the girl sleeping, sighing again, he picked her up and carried her back to his mansion in secret, leaving her in his room.

She had always been a heavy sleeper, she stayed alseep up to then point were he placed her on his bed. Yasmin sat bolt up right as the door closed behind him not knowing were she was she cautiusely swung her legs out of the bed and onto the floor. she silently made her way towards the door.

"No one is to disturb her. Do you understand? And if she's looking for me, I'll be in the library." Riku instructed the vampire standing guard in front of his room. The vampire nodded her consent and bowed, "As you wish." Riku pulled the vampiress back up, "Don't bow to me, we are equals in this home."

Yasmin heard voices outside the hallway. she recognized Riku's and decided to try the window instead. she crept silently over to it. she opened it and climbed out. she knew the drop was a from a two story window that's why she simply slide down the drain pipe next to the window. she didn't know why that vampire wanted with her but she wasn't going to stick around long enough to find out.

"Tch." Riku put the book he had been examining down and looked at the small girl snuggled into the overlarge armchair, "Little one, would you mind going to bring the guest to me?" The small girl smiled and jumped off th chair, landing gracefully on her feet. She nodded and then made her way out the door. A few moments later Riku heard the front door close as his sister went outside.

Yasmin had almost been to the gate, leading into the yard of the large manner house when the child came ambling out towards her.

"Come." the small girl said, upon spotting the older girl. "Bwother wants'ta see you."

She sighed as she turned around, she had been intending to say no however upon seeing the child's cuteness she couldn't say no. she walked up to the small child and picked her up " alright then lets go together ok?" She asked her sweetly, swearing up and down this child was a master mind.

The child smiled brightly and nodded, "Yes! Bwother will be happy." She hugged Yasmin around the neck, "You won't make bwother sad wight? He's always sad..."

She sighed and held the small child closer." if your brother wants to make me angry then i suppose I'll have to make him sad but if he behaves I wont have to" She said genitally trying to not make the child cry but at the same time not lie to her.

She nodded, "Michi is happy then." She turned her head back around to look around the hall they had entered, "Bwother is in his room right now." She announced, pointing to the black door, the only black door in the hall.

She chuckled " alright michi but you have to come with me" she said not wanting to be alone in such a room with him. she knocked on the door out of politeness.

Michi nodded, and when Riku opened the door she jumped from Yasmin's arms into Riku's, "Big Bwother, Michi found your gwest for you." Riku smiled at the girl, "Yes you did Michi." He hugged the girl to closer to his chest and quietly motioned for Yasmin to enter the room.

She sighed as she netered teh room behind him " what is it that you wnat from me?" She asked him trully wishing to know

"Just to talk love. Have a seat." Riku motioned to the bed, slightly ruffled from when Yasmin had been in it and then he returned to the chair he had been sitting in and picked his book back up, murmuring quietly to Michi.

She rose an eyebrow " I think I'd prefer to stand" She said to him " so what is it you want to talk about?" she wa slightly uncomfortable.

"Well, for starters, what were you doing in the forest? It's dangerous out there." Riku questioned, eyes never leaving the words on the page in front of him. It wasn't that he was being impolite or anything, he was just really busy at the moment and needed to get some of the more...political parts of his work done.

She huffed " I don't see how thats any of your business " She told him her eyebrow raised. and she was right it was none of his business. " So what else do you got?" She wanted to leave, she did not like being in a room filled with vampires especially when one was stronger then her.

"You're right, it isn't any of my business. I was just offering you a place to stay if you needed it." Riku turned a page in his book and continued scanning through the words, pinpointing keywords. "Michi, go get some water for the girl." Michi nodded and hopped off of Riku's lap before heading for the door. After she was gone Riku sighed and rubbed at his eyes, "Michi...is special. Do you understand what I mean?"

she sighed " no i don't know what you mean nor do i understand why you are telling me this" she said bluntly. she had no intention of staying here none what so ever.

"At first I believed Michi to be a vampire, like me. Over time I came to realize that she wasn't. Do you understand where I'm going with this?" Riku placed his book facedown on the table to hold his place. Then he continued without waiting for an answer, "She had all the abilities a vampire could possess...yet she was not one. Michi is human, love."

she was shocked and for a moment rendered speechless " well I"ll just take her with me then" She said as she turned ready to go out of the door.
