Riku shifted and in one movement held all her bags in his hands, "I'll bring them in for you, I don't want to keep Michi waiting any longer."

She sighed and nodded " very well" She said making her way to Michi's room assuming that was were she was.

"Big Sis!" Michi ran over as soon as Yasmin walked into the room and grabbed her hands pulling her in and seating her on the floor. Then she plopped down into her lap and held up a book, "Read to Michi?"

Yasmin smiled and stroked her hair before taking the book from the small girl " alright bt what are you doing up so late?" She asked her

"Uhm..." Michi blinked and then her brow furrowed as she attempted to figure out exactly why she was up so late. "She doesn't have a very good sense of time." Riku answered from the doorway, "Michi will fall asleep when she likes and she wakes up whenever as well." He leaned against the doorframe, looking into the room but not entering.

She sighed " well that will have to change its not good for her development to not sleep the whole night through" She told him, " why don't you come in?" She asked before opening the book to read from.

"I can't." Riku replied. "And I suppose we should...you'll have to help her with that, my sleeping pattern itself isn't one of the healthiest as it is."

she nodded " and why can't you come in?" she asked him raising an eyebrow

"Ward." was the short reply. Then Riku sighed and elaborated, "I...didn't exactly trust anybody to be able to resist a child's blood so I placed a ward around her room, effectively blocking myself out as well, unless she herself pulls me in, of course."

yasmin couldn't help but laughed at him. however she was simply hiding her own uncomfy feelings of not having sensed it.

"If you need anything I'll be in the kitchen...down the stairs and to the right, first red double doors." Riku supplied before disappearing from the doorframe and leaving the two girls to their own devices.

She smiled and looked down at michi " alright sweet heart after this book you have to go back to sleep ok?" She told her

Michi nodded, "Uh-huh." She agreed quickly.

Riku placed the bowl that he had been mixing things into down on the counter and reached for a couple of pans to pour the batter into.

yasmin read teh book to Michi, waiting to see if she'd fall alseep mid way through.

Michi loved story time, for some reason unlike other children she wouldn't fall asleep halfway through, she had once and then her dreams had been filled with questions about what happened to the characters, how the story ended. She didn't get much sleep. She wanted to avoid that situation again so she made sure to blink as little as possible.

yasmin finsihed teh book and looked down at the small child " alright now Michi bed time" She said picking her up and placing her in the bed. She gave her a small kiss on the forhead after yasmin tucked her in. " good night Michi"

"Night Night." Michi agreed and then pulled the covers over her head and closed her eyes.

Downstairs Riku finally finished putting the trays into the oven and closed the door, smiling slightly at his accomplishment.

She chuckled and walked out of teh room, shutting the light off as she went. yasmin decided to walk down stairs to find out what riku was doing before she headed off to bed as well.

Riku then perched on the edge of the counter and flipped through the rest of the scrapbook while waiting for his baking to be done with.

Yasmin smelt something sweet and walked in the genral direction. she soon found the kitchen and oushed teh door open to find Riku sittign on teh counter. " hey smells good whata re you making?" She asked him still standing in the door way.

"Hm?" Riku looked up at Yasmin and then pondered his answer, "Really? I don't know. It was just this recipe that fell out, I think she used to make them, no name though." Riku held out the recipe for Yasmin to see.

SHe looked over the recipie, reading the ingreidants to try and figure it out.

"Any luck?" Riku asked, placing the scrapbook back down and peering through the window of the oven, "...they seem to be browning nicely at least..."

" no hey let me take a look at them then" She said as she came over to the oven.

"Sure..." Riku shifted over a little to let and Yasmin peer into the oven with him, their heads almost touching.
