So I'm at the library right now (the internet connection we have at the house right now is super crappy) and there's this little girl who's mimicking me while I'm typing. I can type about 75 wpm, and she's sitting here on Notepad trying to keep up XD
What's the cutest thing you've seen children doing recently?

My little brother(almost 2 years) trying to help my mother and I clean the basement. He was trying to sweep with a broom about 3 times his height. All the time he was yelling 'Sisi!' his little name for me.

Woot! A perfect oppurtunity to rave about my nephew...I freaking adore him...
Anyways, we were at Walmart and I had my arms crossed. He crossed his arms. Then I put my hands on my hips. He put his hands on his hips. This continued for half an hour. It was also semi-adorable when I was just sitting on the couch next to my mom, and he couldn't see me. He spent 15 minutes going around the house saying "Where TT (trying to say Katy) go?"

My cousin has a little girl. Her 5th birthday party was this past weekend... there were about 15 kids... all around that age running around, screaming and playing and >< lol
I think the cutest thing was opening the presents... and Grace would go over to every one and give them a hug after her mom said who the gift was from, even before opening it lol.

I have a few cute stories about my baby cousin. He's about a year and a half now and his vocabulary is coming in. One of the first words he learned was "poop". And his parents have two dogs, so he'd go in the backyard, find a dropping, point at and yell "POOP!" Haha. My uncle can't wait until he's old enough to hold a shovel so he can bury it XD
And now you know when he goes in his dipper because he'll walk around saying "poop, poop, poop" like a tiny bleeping alarm XD
There was also a point when my grandmother changed his diaper and didn't put it on tight enough so it didn't take long for it to just fall off and all you heard from down stairs was giggles XD He was a free boy XD

Cutest thing? WEll my friend's mom babysits tons of kids all of the time... I'm not much for kids but there's these ttwo little girls and I think that they are great.
One day I was at her house and we were chilling and I dunno, i thought it was cute but it's pretty simple, they just both thought that they absolutely had to be on my lap at the same time or they were going to die, if they slid off they would get all upset and turn around and raise their arms up like "pick me up now D: " ^^ I don't know, this just made me smile...

Well, personally I generally don't find children cute. In fact, if I'm in a store, I'll find them more annoying than anything.
However, my mother likes to tell stories of my younger brother and I that seem cute. For instance, when one of us wanted to be held, the other would insist on being held too (we were born 11 1/2 months apart, btw). So imagine if you will a woman with a boy in one arm, a girl in the other, and still trying to write a check at the counter.

I have a six month-old baby girl, and she's the cutest thing ever!
See?
She's very easily amused, and does proper little belly laughs all the time.
She also seems to have taken a shine to my friend's baby boy, who's two days older than her. The other day we were out for coffee, and when we sat them next to each other, they started holding each others hands. It was so cute!
I was just fishing out my camera, when she let go of his hand and started stroking his hair instead. It was the most adorable thing.

awwww. Haha. Babies can be so adorable XD I had my baby cousin trying to take my bikini top off when he was nearly five months old. Haha. It's hilarious what kids will do when they're being breast fed. When one of my aunts was holding him in her lap (and she's really pretty big chested) he could follow every movement her breast made XD We were teasing him about it, but of course he was too little to even care. We called him a little player. Haha.
I heard this super adorable story several years back (on the news somewhere). There was a set of twins born and one of them had heart problems. The doctor didn't think the ailing child would survive. But one day, in the hospital nursery, their twin sort of leaned over and gently hit their twin on the back. All the kids heart problems were suddenly gone and they were healthy. Talk about a supporting pat on the back. So cute :3

God, I really can't stand children! Today I was walking through the mall when suddenly a huge group of small children stormed down the stairs, I thought I was going to die.

This is a picture of my 7-month old Godson and me. He was 7 months when that was taken, and he turns 1 tomorrow. I can't believe he's already so big.
I could go on forever and ever about him, but he did something that had me in tears I was laughing so hard just the other day.
He lives with his Mommy about 9 hours away from me, so I never get to see them, and that really sucks. But, so I can see him and he can see me, his Mommy and I fire up our webcams and videocall all the time.
The other day, Mommy was feeding the little monster, and I was watching them on the cam. Just before she put the spoon of food in his mouth, he turned and looked at me, and I stuck my tongue out at him. Much to her dismay, he stuck his tongue out right back at me! On the cam!
I was shocked that he recognized me on the cam, but even more thrilled that he stuck his tongue out at me, too. Of course, she wasn't too thrilled and threatened to turn the camera away from him, but he and I were laughing!
And the best part? Mommy's the one who taught him how to do it. I just encourage rebellion. >:3

Um, well let's see. My nephew is very cute and does a lot of adorable things. ^^ but my favorite thing is, he tries his hardest to have a convo with me, and most of it is just jibberish. XD He even waves his hands around like I do to talk to me. ^__^

Oh man, I can't say that I was expecting cute baby pictures from this thread, but I am pleasantly surprised =3
As far as children being cute or not, I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. I know not everyone is going to find childhood antics adorable, and that's fine. Personally, though, since I can't have kids, I like living vicariously through others lol.

I dunno if you'd really call it recently or not... it was a few months ago.
Here's a little back story so it makes sense xD:
I'm pregnant, and I'm 23weeks now. I was underweight before I got pregnant, (no eating disorder; just a bit of a hyperthyroid) and so I started "showing" rather early on in my first trimester, mostly just due to bloating and water retention. So, I actually looked like a normal size. XD (now though, I've got a nice big bump)
Anyways, when I was somewhere between 8-10weeks, I went into the local ice cream store with one of my friends. I wasn't showing, per se, though those who knew me well could see a difference because I'd gained weight. Anyways, it wasn't obvious I was pregnant.
But as we were in line, I turned to my friend (who was behind me) to say something, and this little girl (probably like.. 4) came running up to me with her mom chasing after to stop her, and she put her hands on my belly and said "Hello baby!!!" and gave it a kiss then ran away. I thought it was A) cute B) rather funny and C) shocking haha her mom was like "I'm so sorry" and was going on about something, and I was like "How did she know!?" and she stopped, looked at me, and was all "You are?" and I started cracking up and said yea. We talked about a lot about it after getting ice cream and whatnot.
But I thought that was cute.
I remember reading that animals can tell that you are expecting, often before you even know you are. They can sense it. I think snakes are able to smell the amniotic fluid. But I also remember reading somewhere that little kids have some weird sense about it too, and can usually tell if you are expecting. But I had totally forgotten about it until then. XD I guess it's true

Do you eat them...? >_>
Sorry, I had to. xD Your avatar was too zombie-esque cute for me to pass that up.
Kids don't seem to stay around my sister for long either; they don't like her. xD Kids love me though
