Meet the Robinson's is actually my favorite 3D Disney movie. I loved the story. It was really heart felt. The animation bugged me a little at first. Not because it was bad, but because it wasn't Disney style animation - Disney has always been flowy animation, Meet the Robinson's was very snappy. So it took a while to get used to the styling (if I had been a Blue Sky film I wouldn't have thought much of it because their style is snappy, it's what you expect of them).

I've watched it several times now. I personally think it's one of their best 3D films, followed closely by Bolt. So I think Disney is starting to discover themselves in 3D, but I am happy know they are coming out with a 2D film this year.

What were your thoughts on Meet the Robinson's?

I hope Disney's first 3D Princess (Rapunzel), which comes out next year I believe, is good. The character design of the princess has me a little worried... she looks like a Barbie doll D; But I can look beyond that if the story is solid and their animation is good.

i've only seen Meet the Robinsons once, and i really liked it. it is a really good movie.
one thing i don't really like is how so many movies are 3D now. i really miss the 2D movies. i could easily think up movies for Disney to do, but they wouldn't seem right in 3D.

I have never seen Meet The Robinsons but I was planning to get the DVD for my daughter, to start her disney collection early. The annimation doesn't really bother me, I mean if disney want to change their 1940's style to something a little more jazzy than let them.
I have heard some pretty good revues about the film so am definately planning it.
