Holly looked at Andre like he was crazy. She smiled and thrust the sword at him. She was almost positive that he wouldn't get hurt. Holly made sure he thrust was perfect just to ensure he would be. She was very proud of how she used the wepon.

Andre smiled again at her confidence, easily bringing the shaft up and blocking the tip of her halberd with it. It stuck in less then an inch, then he pushed back slightly, swinging his halberd to deflect hers into the ground at their feet. He took a step back. "As you can see, the handle isn't just a strong wood. It's inlayed with metal for balance, as well as added defence. It's a strong weapon for any fighting style, but it's hard to master. Here, try and hit me again, this time with a swing." He readied himself again.

Helen grabbed the sides of her dress and pulled outwards and then spinned. After spinning, she looked to Siegfriend and let go of her dress. "I use the fabric that I buy to make these," she said. "Everything that I wear is designed and sewn by myself. It's something that I do to occupy my time."

"I actually don't need any fabric at this moment," she said. "I am currently working on a silk red gown, but haven't gotten that far. I usually work on one dress at a time, so I won't need anymore fabric until I finish this one and design a new one." Helen played with the side of her dress absentmindedly. She really did love making dresses, they were her passion. "Is there anything you might need there?" she asked.

Siegfried laughed and clapped. "Very beautiful. You are a master seamstress!" He watched her for a moment, head on one side, as if he were considering something. "I don't need anything from the market, but maybe I could ask you for some help with something? I...had an accident with one of my favorite coats recently. It's got a huge tear in the sleeve, and I'm terrible with a needle." He laughed. "You should see my attempts."

Siegfried played with the book in his hands. He was glad that he and Helen had met up again. He had resigned himself to the idea that they would probably never see each other again, for all that they lived in the same castle. Siegfried spent so much time in the library that he rarely met other vampires, which had lead him to be a little bored. Helen was a pleasant and entertaining surprise.

"Thank you." Helen smiled at Siegfried's compliment. She was glad that someone else appreciated her dresses. Her eyes studied him as he spoke, asking for his small favor. Siegfried seemed nervous and as if he was unsure of what Helen's answer would be.

Of course Helen would help him. How could she refuse? He was such a kind gentleman. "I will certainly repair the tear in one of your favorite coats," she said. "Just lead me to where it is and we can take it to my sewing room where I'll get started. It'll only take a minute."

Siegfried smiled. "Wonderful! Thank you. I was beginning to think I would never get it repaired properly. It's back at the castle..." He held out his arm for her to take, acting the gentleman, for once. "Shall we?"

The bustle of the market had died down somewhat. People were going about their shopping business in a more quiet and dignified way. To the vampires, however, whatever hubbub arose from the crowd was just noise. The affairs of humankind become incredibly mundane once you escape them.

Helen nodded and took Siegfried's arm. "We shall," she replied and then began walking with the vampire out of the town and into the forest. For having all the time in the world, Helen was extremely impatient. Once they were out of the human's sight, she began to run at a decent rate with Siegfried at her side.

Once they reached the castle, Helen slowed down to a walking pace again and slipped her arm out of Siegfried's. Going to the front door, she opened it for him and waited for him to walk into the castle. She had absolutely no idea where is coat was, or where his living quarters in the castle were.

Holly nodded at Andre and lifted the wepon up. She made sure her footing was right and looked up at him. She focused all her energy and swung the blade. Every thing she did needed to be perfect. She couldn't let herself get destracted. Something bad could happen to Andre if she did. Holly knew he would get hurt if she messed this up and unlike the dummy it would really hurt.

This time, he met her swing with his own blade, letting it cling off. "Very good. Obviously, the blade works as a parrying strike, and you can even use it to disarm someone using a smaller weapon. I'll have to teach you that another time, after today. I don't want to swing to much at you now, firstly because I'm not sure you could block to much yet, and secondly because I'd also have to focus on limiting my strength during the exercise, and I wouldn't be able to avoid that. So, for now, Just practice swings and stabs, and get used to the footing and handwork required for them. Just let me know when you need a break, I'm not exactly the most driving taskmaster, so I'll usually give it to you." He took another defencive stance. "And don't be so tense. If you're too stiff, someone can use that against you. At least today, you don't need to worry about hurting me to much, I promise. In fact, if you can get through my guard and hit me, I'll be very impressed with you."

"But what if you get hurt?" Holly said shocked. She didn't like the idea of him saying she could try to hit him. It just wasn't right. She didn't want to hurt him. Andre was helping her not hurting her She lifted her blade and went to get in position but then stopped. "If I hurt you then I would feel really really bad." She said studying his defensive position.

He smiled, once again showing his fangs. "I'm not too worried about getting hurt. First off, my armor is protecting all the important bits, and secondly, I might be only half vampire, but I'm just as difficult to kill. If you're really that worried about it," He turned around and grabbed a pair of bo-staffs, "we can use these. No blades, but similar handles. That way, you'll just be hitting me with a stick, and I promise no stick is going to hurt me." He held out the bo-staff, seeing if she'd take it or keep the Halberd, and seeing if she reacted to his revealing his vampire liniage.

Holly took the new stick like wepon from Andre and placed the otherone on the shelf. She was wondering about the whole vampire thing. "I thought you were a werewolf. How can you be part vampire?" She asked looking at the wepon and thrusting it at Andre quickly while she finished speaking.

He stepped left, parrying the blow away. He dropped his Halberd and kicked it away so he didn't trip over it. "When two Vampires have children, they're only born half vampire, half human. If I ever drink human blood, I can become full vampire." He stepped right again, getting back into position.

"I'm guessing you don't want to be a full vampire?" Holly asked suprised when he moved out of the way. She looked at him closely trying to find a weak spot she could hit. She watched closely waiting for just the right moment. Holly swung at him trying to hit him.

"Not really. I mean, maybe one day, but only once I've changed them. We've been to cruel a race for too long, and someone needs to stop them." He ducked under her next blow, then rolled to the right. He came up on a knee, staff held forwards to block the next blow. "The Werewolves are just that someone."

Holly stuck her toung out at him when he doged her. "Wouldn't you be stronger as a vampire?" Holly asked quietly again swinging the wooden stick at Andre. She was giggling watching Andre doging her was kind of fun.

He smiled as she laughed, blocking with his staff, then putting it against the ground and pushing himself up with it like a walking stick. He nodded. "It's true, but that's why I owe the Alpha so much. He made a drink that simulates the affects of drinking blood for 24 hours, essentially making me a full vampire for a short time. I just had my last one earlier today, and that's why I'm only defending against you. I don't want to fight you as a full vampire just yet." He raised his staff defencively, smiling, "That's going to be your final exam."

Holly frowned. So thats why he was so good at this she thought. Holly wondered what would change about him if he really were a full vampire. "That's cool. I didn't know you could do that." Holly said amazed. "I'm just a borring old human, so not fair." She said quietly. Holly swung as quickly as she could almost hitting andre with the Wepon.

Andre barely got his staff up, deflecting the blow away. "Woah, nice strike. Watch that swing, though. Full force swings tend to leave you open to counter attacks. Don't worry, though. By the time I'm done with you, you'll be swinging that fast on a normal attack." He steadied his grip. "Honestly, it's that boring old human part that still calls to me. The only thing I wish I had as a human was my strength."

Holly sighed and thought about how nice it would be to have any strength. Holly was happy she still managed to almost hit Andre. She didn't try to be so strong the next time but she did step over to the side and amied at the opposite side. She learned to try and fool people from her dad. "I wish I was strong, or fast, or different in any way." Holly said while attacking.

He smiled, blocking again. "Well, you're living with a clan of werewolfs, and there's that female vampire here. If you're looking for something with a little less downsides, or want to stay human, then it's an easy fix." He planted his pole on the ground with his left hand and caught her next swing with his right. "Train hard, and you'll get strong and fast. As for different, you already are here. A human among Werewolves. With me training you," he let go of her staff, "you'll be able to fight any werewolf in here and stand toe to toe with them. If you can do that, you can beat a Vampire." He lowered his staff, smiling. "Want to get something to eat? I'm starved."

Holly listened to him and smiled. At least she wouldn't be completely helpless after this. "I'm hungry too. Just please tell me there's something not meat to eat here." Holly said remebering how gross her meal had been the last time. The chunk of meet tasted just as bad as it had looked. She was going to starve here if there wasn't something else to eat.

Siegfried bowed elegantly to Helen and entered the castle. He breathed in deeply - he loved the scent that hung around the place, like a huge and ancient library. The sound of his boots on the flagstones was muffled by the rich red carpet. Red curtains and tapestries adorned the walls as well, even though the room was only a back entrance hall. Ah, it did feel good to be a vampire, and have such a suitable place to live in. Siegfried looked approvingly around at the walls, tapping his grinning teeth with a fingernail. "Mm. I do love this old place, don't you?"

"I'm afraid we have a bit of a climb to get to my quarters. You'd think the library would be more easily accessible, wouldn't you?" He shrugged. "Although, I suppose I prefer it that way...keeps the nosy ones out."

He smiled. "I don't know, lets go find out." He put the two staffs and his Halberd back on the weapons rack, the went back to the mess hall. He looked over at Holly. "So, what do you want, if not meat? Veggies, Fish, Fruit? I'm sure I can twist someones arm around here to get it for you."

"I would love to get fruit. I havent had any in what seem's like forever." Holly said looking around the mess hall. She looked back at Andre and smiled "Thank's your really cool, for a Half Vampire that is." She joked giggling softly.
