Moxie~ I didn't have anything it mind just yet, I just know that some people like having two different characters...though we will eventually need a bad-guy or gal or two. but that can wait for now.

FYI: the rest of the royal family/guards can be played as NPC's if anyone wants/needs them for a post. I can write up a break-down of their personalities if anyone wants them.

So, what do you guys think of this for a 'bad-guy'....and later for a twist, a 'good-guy-who-looks-bad'

'Bad-guy' options: Option 1:Arianian Noble who plots to have the merry group killed/discredited/thrown in prison for the rest of their natural lives
Option 2: Tremainian (not sure what rank though probably a well respected merchant) who spies for the Detrimainians and is taking measures to kill-off royal family and any party trying to leave Tremaine before it is conquered (we wouldn't want a rescue mission after all)
Option 3: Hmm...I don't have a third option just yet but I might in a couple of days. :D

'Good-guy-who-looks-like-a-bad-guy' Options: Options 1: Detrimianian soldier (or soldiers) that choose to side with Tremaine after witnessing something that didn't sit well with them. (soldiers possibly were a part of the group Laral saved from the bear ((no good deed and all that)))
Option 2: Hmm...I'm still working on that one as well...

Hmm- with the Good-guy-who-looks-bad, you could pull in part of Laran's history there. bringing up the fact that she fought a bear to protect a group of prisoners rather than just let them get mauled/killed/whatever. Perhaps he turns sides because he remembers what she did for them?

Honestly Aria, I appreciate that you want to involve us in the directions that the story goes, but part of the fun of the conflict is not seeing it coming, especially when it comes to the double cross.

I would just as soon not participate in discussion of how our villains might manifest themselves because I would rather be surprised.

well, I probably am...I've been lurking about a couple of different websites all week ready to pounce whenever I see a new post.. :D But! For the rest of tonight (mostly) and until about mid-morning/afternoon tomorrow, I'm going to be offline. I am going through my roleplays and warning people in advance that I will not be around the week of Nov 21- Nov 28. I will be out of town and I may or may not have computer access.
