Hey guys! I am here to tell you about the following the rules thing. Is it kinda hard to follow them? Is it kind of boring to read them all?

Its easy to follow the rules if you read them in the first place. On another website I frequent I've found that many younger users feel they are above the rules and don't need to read and follow them(And sadly a lot of them were put into place for the younger users safety as they are giving out addresses and such without thinking). Boy are they sorry when the gms catch them and give em the boot and a temp ban.
The only rule I have trouble following is swearing ones. When I get pissed out comes the sailor hidden within me.

It may be boring, but it is important. You don't want to get in trouble in the future because you did something against the rules that you didn't know about.
Read the rules. And have fun in the forums ^^

Yeah, getting in trouble simply because you didn't read the rules isn't any fun
(found out the hard way on another site)

Reading the rules may take a little time out of your day, but at least you won't get banned in the first 5 minutes on the forum for doing something against them.
The rules are written in some crazy language that only lawyers can read, so they shouldn't be that difficult to follow.

Most of the time I don't have trouble following the rules on sites. Most of the sites have basically the same rules and a lot of the things against the rules are things I don't do anyway. One thing I do dislike a bit about Menewsha is that they seem to have more rules and are more strict than most of the other sites out there. It makes it feel like a more uptight environment over here. At least they seem to have gotten rid of some of the rules so there are less now than before, which is a good thing. It can be difficult when you're on more than ten avatar sites to remember exactly which ones have which rules, even if you've read through all the rules on all the sites.

Following the rules isn't too difficult, and the mods here are generous enough to give warnings to you if you break one, and make sure you have an understanding of the rule you broke.

xD The only time I've had trouble following the rules is before the Auto-Sizing for signatures was put in place. I had the right sized image, but then I added text to the bottom. Most retarded penalty ever. :gonk:

The rules aren't that hard to read. Please take the time to read them, that way you can avoid accidentally breaking one.

It was hard to read though them, but once you know them they are easy to remember, however if you don't read them you are likely to accidentally break one, so yes it is worth it to read them.

Either read the rules and don't get banned.
OR don't and DO get banned.
It's not that hard to take 5 minutes to read the rules.
Rules are essential to society.

Most rules are common through out all forums. Keep things pg 13, no cursing or over cursing..no spamming or advertising for other sites unless there is a special forum for advertising.
And as everyone said, rules are essintial to keep order...if you don't want to follow them because they are boring then you should just find a new site to go to.

Rules are there for a reason, though in some situations it may seem off but they are there.
Mene's rules are fairly easy.
I think my only flaws were a few accidental double posts and a flobing infraction in a rp.

No, following the rules on this site, or on many of the others like this is not particularly hard to do. They're not exactly complex and understanding what is and is not acceptable behaviour on a site like this will keep you "out of trouble".

Following the rules is easy once you remember this isn't Gaia. xD I think everyone gets a few minor infractions when they first come over here. But really, the rules are pretty simple.
