i heard the commotion before it started. as the lycans and zombies came forth,i was hit with a surge of energy. i knew it wouldnt last,so i used it. i smashed through the window that closed me in, and ran out. i pulled apart the bindings they had placed on me, and began to fight. i saw the girl who came for me clinging to the hybrid, and ran towards them. "hey! whats going on? and how can i help? are there any swords around here?" i asked quicly,while taking down another lycan. i hoped they would trust me enough to let me help. they seemed to trust the hybrid. i looked at him. "you,hybrid,ill trust you now,but if you try to harm any human in this place,ill tear you to shreds,got it?" i was serious, i could-and would- do exactly as i said. and i could see that he knew it,too."so,where can i get a weapon?"

I grabbed Leon and Elsa from their hiding place in the medical tent and took them to the trailer where I could smell Ken's scent. I knocked on the door and Sky opens it. I glared at her for a moment when I see that it is just her and Ken, then silently shove Leon through the door and place Elsa beside him. I stroked Elsa's hair tenderly and ran my fingers down her cheek.
"Be a good girl for me and stay here. Ok Elsa? No matter what happens don't let Leon leave either. I want you both to survive." I let my hand drop from her face before I turn to Ken.
"You stay here as well. I won't lose you again. An army of undead should be handled by the undead, not the living."

With that I leave the trailer and close the door. Sky locks it back after me and I run off to find Ember and the other two.
I found Ember with the hybrid and the other vampire. The hybrid had a gun which worried me a little, but Ember seemed to know him.

"Where do you stand. All of you." I look from one face to the other. "I fight for this camp and the ones I love."

i looked steadily at the newcomer."i fight to repay a debt.i wish to help as best i can,before my strength gives out. it is the least i can do,to make up for what i tried to do.i will explain more later,if they still wish to question me." i waited for the other two to respondstill looking the stranger in the eye,so that they would know i was being truthfull.

"I fight to avenged my Fiance.." I said flinting next to them. I was covered in Felix's blood and Zombies blood.

I nod to Ember and the vampire. "Verry well then." I look at the hybrid and smile ever so slightly.
"And I'm guessing you fight for her." I motion towards Ember.
"If we are all on the same side for now then I suggest we get out there and take down these intruders before they cause any more dammage."

Sky and I had been sitting in the trailer for a while now. We could hear the commotion outside. Screams, growls, and gunfire, mixed in with the occasional lycan jumping on top of the trailer. I kept trying to get up, but Sky kept pushing me back down. Finally i was fed up with it.
"Stand down Sky, I am fine. Just let me get up." She backed off like she was told. Just as I was about to pull my self up, there was a knock on the door. Sky looked at me with a worried look on her face. I pulled my weapon out, turned the selector switch from safe to semi, and nodded to Sky. She opened the door a little bit, and peeked out. then she looked at me and smiled, lost and confused, I lowered my weapon a little bit, still keeping it on semi just in case. She swung the door open, and there stood Eli, with the soldier and the little girl she saved. After sending a death look to Sky, she helped the soldier, Leon, and the little girl get into the trailer. She told me and the little girl to stay here in the trailer. which i wasn't exactly happy about. considering that I was trained to kill. As Eli left I heard the radio crackle. I reached out and picked it up.
"This is Hemora, go ahead." I could barely make out the person talking, but I was sure that I knew who it was. I just hoped that they hurried up, the battery in the radio was dieing.
"Hemora, this is Captain White, I am here at the first trailer cell. The other vampire has broken out of the cell."
"Well that's not good news Captain." I replied grimly. This made me worry a lot. Then a thought struck me, and right when I started thinking about it, the Captain came back on the radio.
"Hemora, it gets worse." My heart dropped, I had a bad feeling about this, "Major McCoy has been attacked. We have him in stable condition, but I have a bad feeling that he isn't gonna last long."
"Ok, Captain...." I didn't know what to say to him.
"I know Kenshin. You are in charge. The Major told me right before he went unconscious. Private Sky is your understudy, and I am the second in command, or XO if you will." I was glad that he went ahead and told me that he knew, that made things easier on me.
"Ok then, I want you to check in on all the different stations around the camp, stay in the trailer, lock the door. Keep the Major alive for as long as you can. I have my hands full in my trailer too, so I will be sitting here listening to what's going on. I will send out a bulletin to all units first however so that it is known to everyone."
"Roger that Hemora. Let's do it." I hear him say this, and I take a deep breath. I wondered how people would take this new change of command.
"All units, repeat all units. Air waves clear." I say into the radio, and I wait for all the chatter to die down. "This is an urgent message for all units. Major McCoy has been attacked. He is alive in a cell trailer in the convoy, Captain White has him stabilized for now. Protect the convoy as best as you can. Hense forth I, Staff Sergeant Hemora, am now Commander of this unit. Repeat, I am commander of this unit. Captain White is now the XO, even though he pretty much was before. Private Sky is now my understudy. If you disrespect her in anyway. Your ass is mine. Continue on with the intended plan. Do what you can to protect your battles. Carry on!" I did it. I listened to the chatter begin to pick up again. I could hear the occasional talk about the Major come across the radio. Sky looked at me. With a weird look on her face.
"How's it feel Commander?" She said finally.
"Kinda scary really." She chuckled a little bit.
"So that girl is your one huh? The one that you stay alive for everyday?" I could tell that this was a touchy subject for her.
"Yes she is Sky, maybe one day you'll find someone like that." I felt bad for her.
"I hope so Sergeant. I really hope so." As she breaks off i sit and wonder what all is going on outside, it is slowly getting quieter.

"If we will be working together for now then I suggest that we all get to know eachother. My name is Eli." I curtsey a little and wait for the others to introduce themselves.

i nod in agreement."i am gemini starr. now,where can i get a weapon? sorry to be so blunt,but the time for formalities is short,and i prefer to be fighting." she spun and attacked an oncoming zombie,effectively ripping it to shreds."seriously,this is getting rediculous."

"Ember Abrelle. I refuse to use a weapon, I can flint and use my strength." She said picking up a large rock and crushing it with her bare hands.

I nod.
"Introductions will be quick, just your names will be fine. I will provide each of you with what you need to the best of my abilities." I toss Gemini a gun I had picked up off a dead body on my way over.
"I hope you can shoot. If not don't worry, vampires happen to be verry accurate anyways."
I had a pistol on each hip and a knife strapped to my leg.

(I know Pesca means fishing btw... On a game I played Pescado wouldnt fit... (pescado=fish))

"I am Felix. Dont bother with the zombies as much as the lycans" A smile escaped my lips "I have my ways with zombies now..."

Hey, I just saw Paranormal Activity. I strongly recommend it. There's not as much of a scare you expect, but it has a good story and a great ending.))
Not long after the lycans' presence had gone away, I heard Elsa screaming from under the bedpan. I lunged beneath it but she was already pulled out. Before I could react, I was jerked backward by the foot. With the hand that was free, I reached for my invisible Long Colt again. When I finally looked up at my captor, my panic was disarmed by the sight of the vampire, Eleadah. The next thing I was in was a trailer with two other officers in it. I looked back at Eleadah, and just as I was about to thank her, she shut the trailer entrance. I closed my mouth and looked down at the trembling Elsa in my arms.
I avoided the eyes of anyone around me. I just stared at the ground, my eyes vacant of any emotion that was bulging inside of me. The bitter reality of being completely worthless in battle and vulnerable against danger ate at my soul. I just felt so empty now that I was impaired and as weak as any other person. I wouldn't be able to pull a trigger fast enough or run away far enough. I now had to depend on others for my safety, when they used to depend on me. I used to be the fighter, now just the weakling. I used to be the hero, now just the victim.
A possible solution came into my head, but I immediately pushed it away. As I continued thinking, it kept returning, each time retrieving more reason and liability. I didn't care what would happen to me as long as Elsa was safe. The plausible compromise kept coming back, until I began to consider it. Before I could continue my options, I felt a rumbling under my feet occur. It started out slight, before the whole trailer began shaking violently. I immediately wrapped my arms around Elsa as she did to me. The turbulence quickly capsized the trailer and sent all of them against the side of it. I intentionally landed on my back, as to not injure Elsa in any way. I looked up and saw cracks and gaps forming along all sides of the trailer. A hairy arm burst through the former ceiling of the car and began tearing at the metal of the walls. I wasn't sure what to do, but I knew I had to get out of there before the lycans got in. My eyes spotted a gun a few feet from me that must've fallen from one of the sergeant's hands. I reached for it and grappled with it until I had it clasped in my hand. I quickly raised myself into a sitting position and aimed at the werewolf's arm that was right next to me. I forced my index finger to pull down on the trigger as quickly as I could. Surprisingly, I was able to sever the beast's arm. I then stuck the gun out and shot a few more times. I heard the bullets plow into the monster and looked out. As it was recoiling, I grabbed Elsa by the waist and lunged through the gap that the lycan had made.
After I got out of the trailer, I ran. I stretched my legs as far as they could go and as fast as they could go. My blood pulsed through my veins like acid, but I kept running. I shot at any larger-than-normal figure in my way. Once I was out of bullets, I threw the gun down and continued sprinting. I ran through the thickets of the forest that surrounded the camp. The many obstacles such as trees, logs, and vines that covered the area slowed me down, but I didn't fail. I felt like I was a speeding vampire. The surroundings around me were blurred. I wasn't sure where I was going, but I was going. Before long, an unnoticed log appeared and sent me tumbling to the ground. Elsa shifted herself beneath me and let out a moan. Forcing myself to recover from the sudden blow, I picked up Elsa and slid against the log. There was a gap in the ground which provided enough space for the two of us. I could no longer hear the screams of the camp. Running that far took its tole on me. I laid down and breathed at a hyperventilating rate. I was terribly relieved, but also very guilty for abandoning the camp. But I was just as vulnerable as they were.

i tested the gun,and missed terribly."i am better with swords.oh well,ill just use martial arts." i turned and saw a lycan about to tear ember apart.without thinking,i jumped up over her head and got attacked the thing.it raked its claws across my chest,but i didnt notice.i fought with it,waited for an opening,and pulled out the dagger i had hidden in my boot.i stabbed it through the neck,killing it and getting blood all over me."damn,that was close.you need to watch your backs,because i wont always be watching them for you."

I chuckled a little under my breath when one of the vampires did some martial arts move. I hadnt seen anything like that in a while... I think I'm going to try to control a zombie to kill a lycan... that way I'll get rid of a zombie when it eventually dies... then another... and another... infact, i could just wait in a survailence tower.. then again, that might be a tiny tad suspicious...

I walked up to an oncoming lycan rose my hand and ripped it's head off when it went past me. I handed it to the martial arts vampire. I think her name was gemini... i wasnt paying much attention.

"I dont need THAT much protection..." i said, and walked off to another lycan...

i took the lycan head,smiling a little."i still maintain what i said before.if you harm any resident of this camp,human or otherwise,i will tear you to shreds.the names gemini starr,and dont forget it." i made sure he understood that i was serious,by crushing the head into dust,and then moved on.i proceeded to rip through enemy forces effectively,and messily.by the time this was done,i would be covered head to toe in blood,and other disgusting things.i still didnt notice the gash across my chest.

She told me some bs about killing me if i harmed someone in the camp. I just smiled while fighting from the thought. if she can kill me, i should let her. but i would kill whoever i had to to protect ember. no matter the price.

i was losing strength quickly.i was also angry,the idiot didnt believe me! ah,well.at least it was for love.i could sense his need to protect the girl.as long as he didnt harm anyone innocent,i would let it go.i once had someone to protect.he was dead now,killed by the disease.i felt tears run down my face,blurring my vision."damn! if only-" i was cut off by an extremely hard blow to the head,sending me flying right into the hybrid."ouch,damned lycan.i thin my head is bleeding..." i went to get up,but collapsed at his feet.i didnt even know if he noticed me there.thats when i noticed the gash in my chest."d-damn..." and then i was back where i started,alone,weak,and dying.

I hear Gemini curse and I turn to look and see her fallen on the ground. I rush to her side as quickly as I could.
"Gemini? Are you alright? Your chest, it's bleeding!"
I glare at the Lycan and it just stared back at me. I let out a vitious roar and throw my fist into it's chest so hard that its ribs crack. I then take the knife from my leg and plunge it into the crack of the ribs into its heart. The lycan falls to the ground with a heavy thud.

I turn back to Gemini. She was weak from lack of food, blood.
vampires need blood to live, does it have to be human blood? I think to myself. There was only one way to find out and that was to test it.
I use one of my nails to cut my arm a little, just enough to bleed. I place my arm next to Gemini's mouth.
"Here. Drink this. You are weak and I guess a vampire's blood is better than nothing."

i smelled the blood near me.would vampire blood work? i had to try.i bit into her arm,gently,and drank.i felt my strength returning.i stopped before i drained her completely."th-thank you..." i said,standing up shakily."i owe you big time.just-just let me know if you need anything,and you got it,kay?" i would stay true to my word,i swore to myself.i would not go back on it.i put my hand out for her to shake,and seal the promise,if she would.

Gemini drank my blood I offered her. It worked and I sigh with releif as she stands up. I stand up as well. I felt a little anemic but eating something later would help that.
She promised her help to me if I ever needed anything and offered her hand. I smile and take her hand in both of mine.
"You don't owe me anything. Helping to protect this base is enough. I was the one who owed you. Would you like to stay here when this is all over?"
I felt like I could consider them a part of my own little family. As strange as it may be, two vampires who didn't drink blood, one that did, and one that was half zombie, along with a human child and the few human soldiers. It would be strange.
I laugh a little at this thought. A family. It did seem nice though.

i considered this offer a moment.it seemed nice,almost like...a family."yes,i would like to stay,if they will have me.i havent had anything like a home in a long time.its strange,from what ive seen,you all seem like,almost a family.a weird,mixed family.i havent had a family for so long..." my eyes started to tear up.i quicly wiped them.i should not think of my parents now."yes,i will stay.and i will protect my new family,because i could not protect my old one."

I had just recieved the news about me being the new commander of the unit, when the trailer rolled over on its side. When it rolled Sky and I bumped heads hard with each other. I had taken my helmet off to wipe the sweat off my forehead right before the trailer rolled, Sky still had hers on so that made me the underdog when we hit. I blacked out for a while, barely aware of the soldier grabbing my weapon, shooting the Lycan that had tipped the trailer, and grabbing the little girl and running out of the trailer. I finally came back around. Sky looked very worried, she had the radio and seemed to have been working on talking to someone. When she saw that I was ok, she threw her arms around me.
"Sergeant. I Thought that I had lost you. I was about to have captain White come over here and get me and your body. I checked your pulse and it was basically nonexistent." She let go of me, and I could hear Captain White on the radio trying to figure out what was going on. She picked up the radio again and explained that I was ok to the Captain. He answered that he was going to have a squad of men move to us and then I was to take control of them. I grabbed one of the extra weapons that were on the trailer wall, or the floor now. I locked and loaded and waited for the men to get there. It was still growing quieter. I was starting to hear a lot more gunfire than I was growling and screaming. That is a good thing, it's almost over then.

When I hear Gemini say that she would stay I almost jump with joy. Instead a throw my arms around her and give her a big hug.
"Of course they will have you. They trust me and if I trust you then they will too."
I release Gemini and smile again.
"But right now let's exterminate these pests."

I turn and grab a zombie by the arm and hurl it into a lycan. they both crash into a tree and I take a sharp broken stick and shove it through both, killing them.

i smile at the sudden embrace.i begin to wonder if this is what its like having a sister."right.time to get rid of them,once and for all." i began using some of my more advanced moves,taking out a few.i found a sharp metal rod on the ground,and saw that it made a fine makeshift sword.i smiled and began to slice through the enemy forces like there was no tomorrow.the battle was waning,it was almost over.i could smell the loss,the casualties on both sides.but our side was winning."almost done." i said,as i shoved the rod through two lycans and a zombie.i pulled it out,and once i saw that they were dead,i moved on.this was turning out to be a real tough fight.

I pull out the pistols and with one in each hand start shooting any lycan and zombie i see.
There were only a few left and they were quickly falling dead. Ember and Felix were working together and Gemini was now using a makeshift sword. I would have to try to find her a real one some time.

Military back-up arrives just as the last of the lycans and zombies fall.
"You boys seem to be a little late." I shout playfully to them.
