She looked at him slightly saddened."Yes i live here alone...and i also have no family...they all died..."She smiled at him slightly telling him with her eyes that it was okay.

"Okay...next room!"She whispered,and smiled at him yet again.She pulled him by his hand gently into the guest bedroom."This is the guest bedroom...you can stay here if you like..."She said quietly looking down,embarrassed.

"Or their is other bedrooms in the house...three more bedrooms aproximately..."She whisperd.

"I see." He murmured the words softly when she spoke of her family being dead. Then she was pulling him to another room. He went willingly, of course. A bit amused at her actions, but grateful for them as well.

His eyes danced over the guest room and he nodded approvingly. "This room is suitable enough for me. It is also close to your room, so if you need something or I need anything we aren't to far away from each other." He smiled softly at her.

She smiled back at him."Okay...um....if...you um need anything i'll be in my room...I'm sorry to be...leaving you...so soon"She whispered softly,but before she left the room her eyes started to fill with tears.She let go of his hand slowly and walked out of the door,and ran at a vampire pace into her room.She shut the door softly and slid down her door. Ugh i'm so stupid....

She got up and moved over to her bed.She lay down and didn't move.She lay there just thinking of the events that had happened.She shut her eyes tightly and wept softly.She hadn't done this in so long.Katherine couldn't get the emotions and the sights of his face out of her mind.

*Flashback*
Javeline ran at me with a force of anger any vampire would be scared of.He jumped on me quickly and bit hard down into my neck.Me being to scared to move just let him do what he wanted to do...I felt the blood pooling on the ground under my head and my body.As my mind decieved me and put images of him running at me I tried to move.I was paralised I couldn't move anything.

Javeline finally snapped out of his firey state of anger and ran over to me.He whispered to me..."Baby...I'm so sorry..."He began to cry infront of the king and queen,and the human witnesses...

The king walked over to us and ripped him off of the floor...The king sentenced him to death,and all the humans gasped.The king told all of the vampires in the room to make sure every human was gone...I looked at all the scared humans and tried to tell the little human girl to get the kings attention .The little girl came over and put her hands under my head.The little girl wept over me and the king came over to her and I."Please don't kill her..."I whispered."I will...not kill her...She is yours Katherine..."The king said to me.I smiled and m eyes fluttered closed."DOCTOR!"He yelled worriedly.
The last thing i saw was Javelines servants run out of the doors.
*End of flashback*
Katherine wept even harder when the images flooded her mind.

He had been smiling at her, glad for her company and delighted at her hospitality. Then she seemed uncertain and she rushed from the room. A light frown appeared on his lips. He folded his cloak and laid it at the foot of the bed he would be using.

He turned from the bed and moved towards her bedroom. Silent and careful, he stood outside the door, placing one hand on the door. He waited a few minutes before calling to her softly. "Lady Katherine...Is everything all right?"

Katherine heard his soft voice at the door and she got up slowly and walked over to the door."I...I....don't....know....will....he......co me....back....to...kill....me...again..."She said as the silent tears ran rapidly down her cheeks.She didn't know what had brought the memories to flood her mind.

She tried to remember and found that it had been the photo of Javeline in the guest bedroom that had brought the memories back to her.The emotions flooded her eyes yet again and she wanted to go back into the room and burn everything that reminded her of him.She looked at him."I'm....so....sorry..."She whispered.As her breaths tried to turn into sobs.

"Can...you...do....me...a.....favor...?"She asked him very very quietly.So quiet almost she couldn't hear what she had said.The emotions taking over her body and eyes seemed to get worse.Way worse than before.The loneliness,sadness,fear,anger,destruction,pain,and anguish all mixed with embarrassment filled her eyes more than the tears did.

Violet sighed and walked down to the nearest bar. The cloaked man had left a clear trail for her to follow but something told her that she shouldn't follow him just yet. That female vampire had seemed awfully interested in him.

"Vampires," she mumbled. They live so long they just attract so much drama to them. "Whatever" she shrugged and opened the door to the bar. It was pretty much empty except for the bartender.

Much better she thought to herself.

She figured that she'd wait a little while before going after him.

His long braid of hair had been pulled over his right shoulder and it hung down the front of his body, the tip of his hair barely touching the floor. His eyes were soft and compassionate.

"No one will harm you while I am near. I will protect you, with my body, my soul and my magic." His voice was low, but serious.

Then she was apologizing to him. He shook his head slowly. "There is nothing you should be sorry for."

Now she asked him for a favor in a voice so quiet and soft it would be hard for mortal ears to hear, he smiled softly at her. A kind, gentle smile and nodded. "What favor would you ask of me? If it is within my power to do it, then it shall be done, Lady Katherine."

A slight chill raced down his spine, a twinge in the back of his mind. The trail he had left had been seen. Violet would be coming to him soon.

He had said that no one will harm her when he is near,and that he would protect her with his soul,body,and magic.She almost smiled,but that quickly faded when she saw the picture of him again,and her wedding engagement ring.She focused her eyes back on him."Kry...can you...can you get rid of...his picture....and get rid of my...my...engagement ring...?"She said.She rubbed her hand over the scars on her neck from her fiance's teeth.

She looked down.She still held her neck trying not to remember the past,but failing horribly the tears had slowled ever so much at his pressence.She looked at him again this time trying very hard not to cry.She took her other hand and whipped the tears away.She couldn't keep her eyes on him though.Her eyes kept looking behind him at the picture and pure gold ring,with real diamonds in it.As she stared at the diamond ring she remembered the resteraunt he had given it to her at and when she got to plan on her wedding....this she said aloud.

"We were at Bistro LQ when my parents arrived as a surprise for me....Javeline had told me that he had bought tickets for them and that they had agreed to come down for this special occasion....I was completely clueless and he smiled lovingly at me....I had hugged him estatically...He had asked my parents for the ring and I had got it he was going to propose to me that night...."The tears welled up and spilled slowly down her cheeks"My parents gladly handed him a jewelers bag with a ring in it....he got on one knee and asked me...'Katherine...Will you make the happiest man alive...will you marry me...?'I had squealed and nodded.He had put the ring on my finger and kissed me...After dinner my parents had took me home in a limo.They said that it was my limo...I had screamed with excitment....When my mom came to my home she had made me start planning right away...We picked out the most beautiful white decorations and wedding dress in history...."She looked remembering his pressence

"That's why I didn't want to remember...Kry..."She cried and fell into his arms and wept the tears she never had when he had died...She hadn't cared then ,but now remembering that she loved him she did.

Violet wasn't known to be a heavy drinker but with nothing else to do she took a stool at the bar and threw her leg over it, sitting down.

"Hey pal. I'd like your strongest drink, please." She pulled out a couple gold coins and put them on the counter. "Not too hard though. I don't want to taste it so much."

The bar tender looked back at her. He was cleaning a glass that he held in his hand. He set the glass down and reached under the bar taking various liquors out and setting them next to the glass. With a flash he picked up the bottles, 2 in each hand and poured them so that they swirrled and combined like a hurricane in the glass. He tipped the bottles back right-side-up and waved his hand over the glass.

Violet raised a brow. "Impressive."

He nodded slightly. His arms around her when she fell against him. He held her for a few moments before he let her go, moving away from her a bit. "I understand."

He turned from her and moved further into the room, going to the picture and the ring. He took the picture out of it's frame and sat the frame back down. Holding his right hand flat he laid the picture and ring in his hand. Both objects disappeared, or rather, incenerated so quickly the flames were never seen. The only thing left in his hand was ash and a wisp of purple smoke.

A small bag was tied to his belt, he pulled it open and dumped the ashes in the bag, then tied it closed again and returned to her. Gently he wiped at the tears that ran down her face, then his arms encircled her and held her close. Whispering soft soothing words in the language of magic. It was a sleep spell, though he wasn't sure it would work on a vampire. If it didn't put her to sleep it would at least calm her down a bit.

She watched him as he held the ring and picture.All of a sudden the ring and photo was incenerated.She let the tears fall freely now not caring.All she wanted to do is to get out of the past!!!She saw him put the ashes in a small bag.He came over to her and wiped the tears off of her face.He held her close.She heard him whisper words she didn't understand and felt calm and serine.It must have been a spell...She thought.

She wrapped her arms around his waist since he was taller than her.The last tear slid slowly down her cheek and fell onto his black button down shirt.She didn't want to pull away because she was to embarrassed.that was very dramatic...A voice in the back of her head whispered softly.

She moved her head back a little and kissed his neck softly."Thank you very much Kry...without you i wouldn't know what I would have done without you tonight..."She whispered softly to him."I would have been dead..."She said quietly.I think i may be starting to fall in love...wait no...i've known him for what 5 hours...She thought.And he's saved me 3 times...She smiled against his neck.She moved her head back up and moved closer to him.

He moved his hands in soothing circles on her back. The spell had calmed her a bit, that was good. Her arms had gone around his waist and he held her a bit tighter. Protectively.

When her lips touched his skin he shivered softly. He knew she wasn't after his blood, though he would give it to her freely again. She was speaking, whispering softly, thanking him. He smiled softly. "No thanks is needed, I only did what any real gentleman would." His own voice a light whisper.

She moved closer to him and he pulled away slightly. His voice still that light whisper "Lady Katherine, I think it would be best if you got some rest."

Violet sniffed the drink the bartender presented her. It didn't small alcoholic. It smelled like... berries. Strawberries. She narrowed her eyes and lifted the glass to her lips.

Katherine pulled away from Kry feeling very embarrassed she kept her head tilted so she didn't look him in the eye."I think your right..."She whispered quietly.

"Before I leave...is there anything 'you' need..."She emphasied you,because she wanted to pay him back for everything he had did for her.

She didn't look back up ,but asked her question quietly.She had been so dramatic that she felt bad and embarrassed.She sighed softly and looked up slowly,but not looking in his eyes.She messed with the locket she had on while she waited quietly for his reply.Katy had gotten the locket from her mother after Javeline had attacked her.She smiled sadly remembering her sweet loving mother.While looking away from him.

When she finally looked up at him, he pat her softly on the top of the head. Smiling kindly to her and shaking his head lightly. "There is nothing I need...maybe just a bit of fresh air..but I think I can handle that on my own."

His hands went to her shoulders, and gently he turned her towards her own bedroom. "Rest now. I won't be far from you, if anything happens, just call my name and I'll come save you. Alright?"

His hands had slipped down from her shoulders to the small of her back, applying gentle pressure there to encourage her to go on.

"Okay then I will...um...leave you to that...I'm sorry i have have burdened you with my problems i'm so sorry..."She whispered before she had turned around and walked into her room.She slid onto the bed and sat down slowly.She layed her head against the bed post lightly and thought of all the things that have happened in such a short time.

She shook her head slightly and pulled back the covers of her bed.Within a few minutes she tried to sleep,and replayed her evening in her mind. She let the events flood into her mind which soon became her peaceful dreams ,and the emotions flooded in also.Causing her dreams to rapidly change into nightmares.

She struggled in her sleep and sighed heavily.

Once she had left him, he chuckled softly. Shaking his head slightly. He didn't think of it as a burden. In fact, it had given him something to do, and he really didn't mind helping. Anyway..back to the task at hand.

He moved silently through the house, picking his cloak up on the way to the front door and pulling it around his body, the hood pulled up to hide his hair and face just before he stepped out of the house. He inhaled deeply. It seemed it would be awhile longer before he actually got to rest.

Now, he would wait. He had left the trail and he knew she would come.

Violet paused with the glass to her lips. The bartender seemed on edge, waiting for her to take that drink. She closed her eyes and... threw it up into the air. Quickly pulling out her 6 shooter pistol she fired a single shot, shattering the galss into a thousand pieces.

She quickly turned her gun to the bartender. He silently raised his hands and his face twisted into an evil grin that kept spreading across his face. His teeth became sharp points and the mouth grew to his ears. His nose fell to the ground and only a hole was left. His burning red eyes stared at her and his fingers turned inhumanly long with sharp talon-like claws at the tips of them.

He hissed and a long purple tongue snaked out of the gaping mouth, licking at the sides of his face.

"I thought I smelled a rat," She grinned. "You dirty demon skinned rat. I've been looking all over for you." She cocked the hammer back and aimed right between his eyes. In a flash the demon was standing behind her. One hand around her neck the other on her outstretched arm. He licked the side of her face and she cringed.

"Get off me!" She kicked back and her leg missed the connection as the demon now sat perched on the bar with it's head cocked to the side.

"What buisiness do you have with me," came an unearthly voice from behind that toothy grin.

"Yes...?"The little girl said in the most beautiful voice she had ever heard.
"What's...your name?"I said quietly coughing up blood.
The girl started to cry."Don't die mommy...My name's Alice..."She cried to me.
"I...I....won't...I...promise..."I coughed out more blood,as the nurse fixed my neck.
"I love you mommy..."She whispered and kissed my forhead.
"I....love...you...too..."I whispered ,and tried to stay stable as the connection of me and the little girl clicked.
"There..."The nurse said."All better!"she told us.
"Thank...you..."Me and my new daughter had said together.
I watched as the king walked over to Kry."You dare expose us?"The king asked him.
"I didn't mean to..."Kry said pleadingly.
"It's to late to save yourself..."The king whispered and broke his neck.I gasped as I saw the blood spill out of my husbands head.That now lay on the floor.I started to cry and sat slowly up.My little girl was crying as well and I held her in my lap.
"Finish this!"The king demanded and his servants ran over to my husbands body and started to rip it apart.

*End of nightmare*
Katy's eyes flung as she saw Kry's body get torn apart.She screamed not noticing that she was awake."Alice!"She cried.

Love was walking down a very dark dismal alley when she felt the major distress of a woman who she thought she knew. She quickly jumped in the air and withdrew her wings from her back. Flying with bright white wings through the night sky she got there in such a short time that the girl was still in mid scream....

Jumping through the window after forcing it open as to not break it. Reatracting her wings into her back in a sparkling/watery display she said "Don't be scared im here to help. What is the matter?" After saying this she realized it was Katy...

Violet aimed her gun at the demon again. "You know what I want."
The demon raised it's brows and frowned a little, "Oh Violet, you know that I can't tell you that!" He shook his head and wagged a finger in the air.
"Don't mock me!" She fired at him and he moved slightly to the left, dodging the bullet completely.
"Don't anger me." His eyes burned brighter and the room began to heat up. A drop of sweat rolled down Violet's forehead. She could tell this was going to get ugly.

"Oh my god...Love!"Katy said quietly,not allowing herself to cry."I had the worst nightmare...It was if i was reliving my husbands death...but he wasn't in the dream...Kry was..."She whispered.Why in the hell was he in the dream?Yes he's a nice person and I owe him my life but what?She thought.Katy got off of her bed and ran over to Love and hugged the only person she had ever been friends with."I missed you so much!"She almost let the tears slid down her cheeks.No!!!she thought.

After embracing katy in a hug she almost fell over because she wasnt prepared for a hug.
"Woh. Its ok katy. Im here now." she said very comfortingly.
"I have never understood your dreams, No one has. You know that. But that sounds horrible." She said and almost fell over from exsaution. "I'm sorry.. It was a long flight dont exactly have mush streagth left Katy." Love said quietly.

Katy hugged her tightly and pulled her over to the bed."Rest Love..."She whispered knowing that she was exhaugsted.Katy set her on the bed and went to sit on a chair in her room.She turned the tv on and smiled."Thank you for coming.."she said to her softly.She put on of the headphones in her ears so she could hear out of the other ear.

"Thank you. And your welcome." she said smiling softly.
Its been a long time since ive got to rest. she thought.
