A friend only went there a few days ago *mustnotgetjealousandsmashsomething...* and told me that there were tons of One Piece products to buy there, and how lots of people bought little figurines of Chopper. XD I would've loved to buy some of the Supernovas and Ace and Chopper and maybe a Chopper hat too if they have them...

Yeah, I never thought that one day Merry would succumb to all the damages on her, I always thought that they'd somehow manage to fix her up again no matter what. :(

Well. The rest of the crew's survived a lot of damage, too. Its only natural to expect the same from Merry!

Yeah, I mean I just thought that she'd manage to bounce back to top form like the crew could. But then again she's a boat and not a living organism like the others are so injuries were pretty much permanent...:sweat:

D: But aren't most things easier to fix than living organisms?

Well, most damages could be fixed, but not the main mast or the strip of wood that goes down the middle of the boat from the front to back (not sure what it's called in English)...they're like the supporting beams of the entire structure, so once they're damaged, there's basically no way you can fix it anymore. Kind of like trying to use a pole that's been broken in half and taped together with duct tape...no matter how strong the tape is, the pole will always remain weaker than it would be had it not been broken.

Went to a nearby department store earlier tonight and and and...I found this super adorable Bepo piggy bank!!! *squeee*
They didn't have any of the ships, mostly just characters from the Strawhat crew and occasionally another one from here and there, but they were all so awesome! ...And so very expensive. Orz|||

Bepo piggy bank is smaller than my palm and it costs NT$695, which is around USD$20 I think...

;w; Well, I Understand why they couldn't fix Merry anymore. But the crew's survived canonballs and being frozen solid and stuff! Poor Merry. At least Franky was nice enough to make them a Mini-Merry.

I am not a fan of the series... and I am not entirely sure why.. I think it may be because an old room mate was uber fanboy of it so it was on constantly on repeat... who knows maybe I should give it a second chance..

And of course they have Chopper! Chopper is like one of the most popular ones, there was a while where a bunch of clothing/hat vendors were selling Tony Tony Chopper hats...(old version) Lots of his figurines too.

I may do that... I know if I did get into it my hubby would go insane... he is not a fan of it.. I asked him why and he went on the long rant... my brain kind of tuned out >.<

I am not a fan of it, the art style does not appeal to me, the plot is too thin and somehow they strung it out forever and it became dull and akward to me, to name just a few.

Hmm, I can understand most of what you listed, but could you explain how the plot is too thin? :O
