I'm guessing Koala will have a big part in changing Jinbei's views on humans in the next few chapters. During the Tenryuubito arc where Luffy punched them, all I could think of was how much I wanted to give those jerks a good punch to the face and several kicks to the ass myself.

Anyways, the latest chapter kind of makes me dislike the marines just that little bit more. D: They're blinded by a false justice! A corrupt justice! Which isn't justice at all! (But I think that's been clear since the beginning)
That chapter also made me lose a little more faith in the humans of the OP world, and sadly there are so many like that in our world. Ah well.

And yeah, I can relate to wanting to give the Tenryuubito a punch, I would love to be able to jump into the OP world even if it's just to give those Tenryuubito bastards a good kick. They'd deserve that and more!

This new flash back is going to be telling us quite a bit about the past, but I think it'll be over soon probably only a few more chapters and then back to the present.
I'm really curious about what happened to Zoro's eye, and what happened to everyone else besides the Straw hat crew (like the rest of the Whitebeard crew, Kid pirates and the rest of the supernovas!).

Yeah, I've never liked the Marines much. They like to look really glamorous in their 'righteous justice', but in reality they're the villain, oppressing freedom and supporting things slavery and allowing assholes like the Tenryuubito run amok with their 'superiority'. Makes the 'Justice' insignia they like putting on their coats all the more ironic. Also ironic how the pirates (at least some of them), the supposed 'bad guys', have been doing more good than the Marines have ever done.

My guess is that Zoro's eye was blinded in a spar with Hawkeye, or maybe it isn't blind at all, but is either a sign that Zoro isn't using his full strength when fighting, or a he's hiding some sort of special technique he learned that he didn't want to expose yet. I'm also eager to see what happened to the supernovas too, some of them are really interesting characters. XD

Been so busy falling in love with One Piece again I forgot about this place. Which is dumb because I only come here to talk about One Piece.

I'm in love with the flashback going on right now. I was always interested in Fisher Tiger when he was first mentioned and I'm so glad to see Jinbei and Arlong's past. The only bad part is how depressing this arc is; I won't lie, I totally cried at the end of the newest update. I love the way fishmen look, not so much on mermaids though. I hope a fishman joins the Strawhats later on. Speaking of which, I'm really excited and nervous to think about them having a new member. Everyone is so cool right now, I can't even begin to think of a character that can join at this point.

Jumping on the bandwagon of not liking the Marines. The only one I like is Garp but its because he barely follows their rules. He stays because he believes in what the Marines are supposed to be but we all know they aren't. Now I'm wondering what the Marines offered Arlong, hope its explained in the next update. Ugh, they are so sneaky and rude. Didn't they kill off Moria and are blaming that he died in the war? I'm STILL wondering what they sent Buggy, he is one of my favorite characters so it is constantly on my mind when I think of One Piece.

I'm also curious about Zoro's eye. If he did some how get a special technique, I think it will be pretty cool. Not that losing an eye already isn't cool enough. I also want to see what has been happening with the Supernovas. Whitebeard too, I wonder how their crew is getting along and how everything is going to work out without Whitebeard.

Oh yeah! Totally forgot about Garp. He's a cool guy. And the two other little ones, the 'glasses' kid that Luffy rescued so many volumes ago, and that other kid who used to be a villain but later became okay. They only got a really brief appearance in the Rescue Ace arc though. And yes!! I want to know what happened to Moria! And Buggy, and the others who'd been caught/left behind...
Maybe they'll appear in one of the chapter front cameos. o u o *hopes*

Yeah, this arc isn't as cheerful as some of the other arcs, though the Alabaster (sp??) arc and Sky arc also had their sad moments. Reading about what happened to Fisher Tiger and then how he was ambushed made me want to throw something (preferably something hard, sharp, and heavy...) at those Marines', and some of the humans', faces. >_>

If a fishman ever joins the Strawhats, I'm hoping for either Hachi or Jinbei. xD

Yeah, the other two are okay but I really only like Garp. I also hope they appear on the front cameos but since I'm greedy, I hope something big happens with Buggy in the actual story line. I still think the letter is about trying to make him a Shichibukai cause wasn't it sent by a bat just like the one Jinbei was sent in the newest update?

I got so mad when the marine's ambushed him. Then when the mom lied to that little girl, after he brought her home. That was so rude! I hope she is brought back some way and is trying to cause an uproar for fishman on land. That would be awesome.

That would be so cool if either one of them joined. I wouldn't mind it being someone totally new though, just as long as he or she can stand up with the rest of the crew. I mean of course they will, can't become a Straw Hat if you aren't worthy but still I just hope I like the new crew member just as much as the others.

Speaking of the newest update though, look at what losers decided to join the party, the rude Tenryuubito. They are probably the cause of Otohime's death which makes me so mad. They are just ugh, I can't even describe how much I hate them.

I think Buggy will have more appearances in the future...Odo seems to like him, and he's good comic relief. I'm not sure about the Shichibukai though...because Buggy's far from being as strong as the others and he'd likely become some sort of laughing stock to the others when they find out...

Yeah, I'd love to see the little girl brought back later! I think she will, given all the current flashbacks and stuff.

Me too! Stupid Tenryuubito...probably ran into some trouble, somehow made their way to the Fishman Island, and will probably start tossing about rude requests here and there and acting like they're the lord of the island. I think that they'll probably start a fight on the island, with the fishman getting fed up with their attitude and attacking them, and Otohime possibly getting hurt and dying from the conflict while trying to stop it.

Yeah, Oda does really seem to like him which makes me glad cause I know he'll being showing up more. I know Buggy isn't strong enough to stand up against the rest of the Shichibukai but I think they Marine's want to make him one for some crazy plan. Just like for whatever reason they are killing off Moria. They probably just want to use Buggy and know he likes to have power and wealth so why not make him a Shichibukai? He would be too ignorant to realize what they are really using him for; it would take him a while to figure out the true meaning behind his new status. I hate to say that about him because I love him so much as a character but its seems like something he would do/fall for.

Speaking of the little girl, just throwing out a totally crazy idea but I wonder if she will be the next Straw Hat lol. She seems to be the type of person that would fit in well with the rest of the crew.

Yeah, something like that most likely will happen. I just hope it won't make me cry like an idiot. The flashbacks in One Piece always get me the most for some reason.

Yeah, poor Buggy. D: But hopefully he'll get out of it if it happens, like all the other things that's happened to him...luck seems to be on his side when it comes to getting away from messes without getting killed. XD

lol She would, she's a nice kid. xD And continuing on the crazy idea, it's possible that she finds out about her village's deceit and have worked hard during the years that has passed in getting stronger...then she'd have no trouble fitting in with the Strawhats on their later journeys and stuff. :3

The flashbacks were okay...they get me like all the other sad scenes in the story. XD;; I'm way too sentimental/have loose tear glands...>_>;


On another topic, I think the three fishmen princes are so adorable when they were kids. XD

Yeah, Buggy does seem to have a lot of luck so hopefully when the time comes, he'll be able to get out of whatever the Marine's are throwing at him.

Yeah, it is a crazy idea but it does seem possible. I mean the crew is needing another female on board anyway. So I wouldn't be surprised if the new person isn't her but is still female.

I can usually keep it together for most sad things but for some reason One Piece just kills any control I have. The worst time I've ever lost it over a flashback has to be Chopper's back story. Its kind of embarrassing how badly I cried for that.

Oh I know @ the princes being cute. Even the princess is cute too! Oda just draws everyone cute as a kid.

I remember Nami being one of my favorite characters..and the green haired guy..what was his name..Zoro? or something like that... I totally forgot about this anime. I use to watch it. it was one of my first animes when i started getting into some.. including Inuyasha,fullmetalalchemist,trinity blood & Naruto. (sorry to others that i forgot of that i first watched) I can't say it was one of my most favs, it was kinda one of those ones i outgrew fast. x.x i guess it wasn't one of my favs.. for a while it was though at that age. I was like..12 i think... maybe. lols.

@ Imaginative Sarah: You should get back into One Piece! It has grown a lot since the beginning but in so many beautiful ways. Even if you don't, at least you liked it at some point.

So the new issue totally threw out the plan of a big fight, well at least for now. Though we finally know why that guy wants to marry the Princess so bad! I really like her power too, I hope we get to see more of it. That is probably why they kept her locked up too, not just because of the guy trying to kill/marry her.

Now I'm really curious to see how the Queen dies since she made it back with a treaty or something. Even though that is terrible to say, Oda is just really leaving me on edge with how it could have happened.

Yeah, I was thinking all sorts of terrible things happening to Otohime when she just ran off like that to get the treaty. D: I was surprised she made it back fine. Though she could be just hiding what'd happened on land...after all, I really can't imagine the Tenryuubito just forgiving the fishmen like that and giving in to their negotiations. I'm guessing there's a loophole in the treaty...I can't wait to find out what happens!

Also wondering about the princess's ability too. Maybe that guy wants to marry her, and produce children that would also possess the ability or something? I can see how the ability can be a big asset in fights.

........Would be pretty interesting if it was the princess that ends up joining the Strawhats. XDDD

Yeah, I have a feeling she is hiding something too. Or like you said, there is a loophole in the treaty. I mean the way everyone reacts over her death, it couldn't be something simple and normal.

Maybe or he really just wants to control her. There might be more to the legend though, that Oda hasn't explained yet. Though being able to control Sea Kings is already a huge feat, they are the most feared creatures in the ocean so it would be good to have someone on board to keep them away if you can't have seastone attached to the bottom like the Marine's.

Yeah, I was thinking about her size too. XD Maybe she'd follow them around underseas while they're sailing above...I dunno. >_>;; Doesn't sound too plausible for later plots in the storyline, but I guess I could always hope and dream. xD;

The newest issue seems like Luffy is supposed to be the one to help her learn how to control her powers, I wonder how that is going to work.

Also, the way Otohime died really sucks. The worst part was when the brothers started to sing to make sure the Princess didn't lose it. Ugh, that tugged at my heart strings so bad. I was able to hold it together though, no crying for this flashback so far.

Yeah...still going on the crazy idea, maybe that'll become a reason for Shirahoshi to follow Luffy on their journeys? :o

Totally shed some tears for the recent update. I can't believe a human shot her, well I can but ugh I can't even describe how it makes me feel.

And then Jinbei starting crying and it made me cry more lol. I wonder what Hordy is going to say on that giant screen. Also I hope everyone is okay because it can't be good if he is just broadcasting from the palace without any problems.

Also, this isn't anything about the One Piece story but yesterday I went shopping and I found a place that sells anime collectibles which is a big deal because of where I live. They actually have One Piece items too! I usually have to wait until conventions come by to pick up anything related to One Piece, it doesn't seem to be popular down here so other stores don't stock up for it. When I saw it by chance yesterday, it was closed but I've already made plans to go check it out when its open. I saw that they had Thousand Sunny, Zoro, Boa Hancock, and Going Merry figurines through some windows. I really want the Thousand Sunny one, hope I can afford it!

I was kind of expecting it...the human shooting Otohime, that is. The mermaids and fishmen like the queen, so I didn't think any of them would attempt to kill her. They might oppose her, but not actually do anything physical. Doesn't make my urges to mangle the human any less, though. :-x

There are tons of One Piece merchandise everywhere here...I've been seeing Chopper's hats (including the antlers) everywhere. :sweat: Lots of key chain rings and stuffs too...I think I've seen the Thousand Sunny ship in a shop too, but it was pretty expensive so I didn't buy it.

Yeah, it was just terrible that she finally got her message through to the people and then she gets killed by what she is trying to fix. It really sucks.

That is so weird! Cause even at the conventions I go to down here, there is hardly any One Piece merch. It makes me so mad because it is the only thing I want to spend money on and I can't! I do have to say that even though I love Chopper and One Piece, I really wouldn't buy his hat. You just have to draw a line somewhere and unless I am going to be cosplaying him, I don't need the hat otherwise.

The shop didn't have too much stuff from what I saw but enough to make me happy. The Thousand Sunny was only $20 which is still expensive but not compared to the Going Merry which was $64 (the model was larger but omg still that is crazy). I still haven't gone back to the store yet but I do have money in my wallet waiting to be spent.

Some people wear the hat just for lulz, like, at friend gatherings or at conventions to 'show support' for the anime or manga they like, etc. :XD Some people here like doing stuff like that. :P

$20!? :gonk: That's cheap! The Thousand Sunny I saw was more around the price of the Going Merry you saw. :gonk: I'm thinking about buying an Ace figurine someday, if I ever see a figurine of him that I like.

I haven't been to a convention in two years, I'm trying to go to one this year (again only for One Piece stuff and to hang out with friends) so I'm scared to see what popular anime is going to be flooding the dealer's room if I actually make it. I'll probably be in the placs for hours, like always, trying to find something to do with One Piece.

I can understand wearing it for fun but half the time the hat is either made really terrible or it is way too expensive so I just leave it alone. Also yeah, $20 isn't that bad, the model is sort of medium size while the Going Merry was huge so I can understand the price. No offense to Hancock but I just have no appeal to buy her figurine so I'm really hoping the store has others. I would cry if they had one of Buggy.

I caught back up with the anime and watching the Sabo arc in color with voices just makes the whole situation more powerful. I can't wait to see Fishman Island arc in color, sure it will make me probably cry harder but that is okay.

I imagine there's going to be a lot of Hetalia stuff...I mostly hunt for Naruto (Akatsuki in particular) stuff, though since most of them are dead already I haven't been having much luck. I bought a Doflamingo and a Kidd badge from the last convention I went to though. <3 A friend on dA got me interested in Doflamingo. xD

The hats are pretty well-made, IMHO...they're kind of soft, fluffy, like a plushie but one that you could wear on your head. I'm not sure how much they cost though, since I'm not really a fan of chibi Chopper. XD;; (I like him better in his full grown reindeer form)
Bleh, Hancock figurines...I saw a hentai version of her figurine the other day and basically did a perfect imitation of the expression '囧' at it.

I've only seen snippets of the One Piece anime...did any of their voice change after two years've passed? I'm sort of hoping Luyffy's voice would be deeper...his starting voice sounded like a child's. D:

I've seen some pretty decent Chopper hats sold but for some reason, the con in my state every year seems to sell one of the worst versions I've ever seen. The pink isn't even the right color! Ugggggh @ a hentai version, I barely like the normal model of her.

They haven't shown anything with Fishman Island yet so I have no clue about voice changes. If they do, I hope none of them sound too different to the point it makes me annoyed. I think they are getting close to it though, the Sabo arc seems almost over so I can't wait!

I think my friend was used to seeing hentai versions of anime people because she just rolled her eyes at it and muttered about stupid people. XD

Ohh, I can't wait! I really loved the part where they got back together again on the bubble island.
