I generally read fantasy. Sometimes it's fantasy with a traditional medieval theme, or in the modern world. Often it's fantasy mixed with mystery. My favorite fantasy authors are Terry Pratchett, Jim Butcher, and Mercedes Lackey.

I love Victorian literature the best. The way everyone wrote back then is so intense, I feel smarter just for reading it.
I also like a bit of children's fantasy. I'll always love Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl, and the Percy Jackson books were a lot of fun too.

I like to read anything supernatural. I will read romanca as long as it has something supernatural in it. I don't like reading histrcal romances and things like that. Right now I'm enjoying reading about werewolfs and vampires.

I mostly read fantasy and things to do with the paranormal. Realistic books tend to bore me most of the time.

I'm a fan of anything fiction. One of my favorite writes would have to be Micheal Crichton. He writes realistic fiction which is kind of cool. A lot of his books are about science; from nano-robots that form intelligence of their own, to genetic testing creating a ''humanzee''. Everything I've read by him has been extremely interesting. The Dark Elf series (I'm not sure who the author is sadly) was quite good also. Very odd, but very good.

I mostly read science fiction and fantasy. I also enjoy classic novels and epics, too. I have read a few non-fiction books, mostly for school, that were really interesting too, most notably Carl Safina's Song for the Blue Ocean and Jon Krakaur's Into the Wild.

I'll read just about anything I can get my hands on that sounds interesting. I generally go for fantasy with a bit of a romantic kick in it, but I'll NEVER read a straight out romance novel. Yeesh, too much mush for my liking.

Micheal Crichton had the unique ability to make scientific explanation interesting. I believe that man should have been a high-school science teacher.
I enjoy fiction, mostly fantasy/sci-fi. I am a particular fan of dystopia: Brave New World, 1984, Animal Farm, etc.

I generally read lawyer/mystery type books, like Mary Higgens Clark, John Grishman, and Patricia Cornwell.
However, I'm started to get into fantasy.
I'm loving Inkheart so far, and I loved the Lord of the Ring series.

I generally read science fiction and fantasy. I do mix it up every now and then though. I also had a romance novel kick back in middle school but it became to formulaic for to keep my interests.

I read mostly crime books, mangas, and whatever interests me. I have a few x-files books. I also have a whole stack of mangas. I am currently reading the Rachel Morgan series which is really cool. I just read whatever catches my eye or sparks my interest. I also take into consideration what people recommend to me the books they like to read. :)

Fantasy, sci-fi, action, adventure, i'm fine with romance as long as it isn't over the top, I tend to like the sweet and adorable relationships rather than lusty ones. XD
Currently i'm reading Interworld by Neil Gaiman, its very interesting and I love the whole idea of it. Next, I wanna read the Graveyard book by Nail Gaiman. :)

I read all genres when it comes to manga, but for everything else i love fantasy, sci-fi, and romance.
i especially like Fantasy/romance :P
I like to mix it up every once in a while if a book really seems to interest me, i read everyday and it makes it suprising that anyone can hate reading :( my bf wont read anything but the interview with a vampire series and fear and loathing in las vegas... other than that he is as obsessed with movies as i am with books

High-school... maybe not... Freshman/Sophmore college would be more like it. The things he describes in his writing are very much not high-school material hehehe
