I miss being short. I hate being tall. I'm 5'4'' now, and I despise it. Luckily my hubby is really tall so it sorta' compensates for it and makes me feel less tall and more short again. ^^

I'm 17 and about 169.5cm tall, which is roughly 5'7. I'm taller than all 3 of my older sisters, as well as my step-mother and my father. The day I realised I'd grown taller than my dad was an amusing day, however still 2 centimetres shorter than my mum. Mum is 5'8, and dad is 5'6. Lol. My fiancé is only about 5'9-5'10ish.

Well, this thread makes me feel better. Lot of short people here. ^_^

For years I felt inadequate because everybody I knew was taller than me! xD I'm 5'5", my mom's 5'7", my brother was about... 5'10" or 5'11", one of my friends is a little shorter than him... I only knew two people at my high school that were shorter than me! So sad... T_T A lot of people seem also to think that I'm younger than I really am... that'll make getting sake a pain in the rear when I'm 21...

I am 5'2. I don't have any problem about my height. Most of my friends are with the same heights as mine and that's why I don't feel insecure at all. But I am very happy when I wear a high heel shoes, I become more taller than every one else. Bwahahahahaha

I am 15 (but in a few months I am going to be 16) and I am 5'2. I love being short but my best friend/sister is way taller then me. So some times I feel shorter then I really am. Every one in my grade is either 6' or close to it. There is only one other girl that is short and she is shorter then me. It might sound weird but I wise I was the shortest, cuz I have an advantage with guys cuz they don't like girl friends being taller then them and I won't run into that problem.

I am 23 years old and I am 5 feet 5.5 inches tall believe it or not. Lol. In comparison to the rest of the world I guess this is pretty normal, but comparing myself to my family, I am pretty dang short (not including my grandmother who is shrinking the next shortest person on both sides of the family is 5'9" everyone else is around the 6 feet bench mark). When I was very very little I was quiet sick, and had to be put on roids which stunted the growth, of my torso none the less.

I'm 150cm tall....I think? :S I'm the shortest of my family, shorter than both my mom and my dad, but I think I'm about the same height of my Grandmother XD

im 5 feet 6 inches...pretty short for a guy who's younger brother is 6 feet and an older brother who's near 6 feet.

i guess i can say its genetics. but what i lack in height i guess i compensated for intellect. :D

Um, I turn 14 in 2 months and I'm already just over 6'0. :sweat:

Im 26 years old and Im 6'3'' and short chicks are hot. lol.

I just turned 19 a few weeks ago and am 5' 2-3"

I just turned 18 on Jan 31st.
And I'm about 5'2" 5'3".
I don't really know, but I'm finally taller than my mom. XD
Yet still the among the top 3 shortest people in my senior class. (a class of about 50-55 people)

I'm 15 and 154 cm (for those of you not using the metric system that's 5 feet) I haven't grown at all since I was 12 and my 13 year old brother is already about 5'3 or taller (I'm not sure) High shelves are a personal evil for me... I hate them

And even though it's the average height, it's still pretty short if you look objectively at it.
But even still I love my height.

I'm very self-concious of my height. I'm around 5'3" and I'm a 20-year-old female which is average. However, I feel very inferior because I see women my age and younger who are 5'9" and even a 6'1" girl whos 18 and it makes me feel insignificant and weak.

I'm 5'5", I love my height~ though it would be nice to be maybe 1-2 inches taller?
