Fallacy, what made you lose your faith? What made you leave God in the first place? When I pray for someone I am not judging them. It is out of love and concern.

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged

This verse is intended for hypocrites- people who do certain sins but judge those who do the exact same thing- they condemn themselves as they condemn others.

Matthew 7:5 5You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

We are to judge those within the body of Christ, but not by our own scales. We judge/discern by God's scales: His Word, The Bible.

If you're without Christ and fully proclaiming Godlessness- you're already judged- what's there left for people to discern from you? This isn't to say that you won't have God's grace poured out upon you later in life though :)

Maybe I need to try reading it in sections, but I find it kind of boring. Seriously, my godfather tried to make me read it once, and I kept forcing myself to not fall asleep. :S But certain verses can be kind of inspirational if you can get through them.

Yeah, it's like you would a baby feeding them bit by bit. Is how we need to take it. Not whole chunks of heavy meaty stuff at first. The milk first then the meals.

If you have troubles, try going to a Cristian book store, Talk to a worker there and tell them your problem, they should be able to find maybe a daily devotional book, or a watered down version, I remember when I first started reading the bible, I had trouble concentrating, so I did just that, and the worker at the shop, helped me find this book called "A teen girls bible." And what it was, it took major verses and then watered down the rest, and had it set up in daily increments, each chapter was a bit longer for each day.

I believe and love the Lord. :heart: I try to read my bible when ever I find a chance and I pray every night before I go to sleep. The Lord has has helped me through so much as well, he is truly a great God. ^^
