Wow! It is really impressive! I agree with Nasagi Rei's suggestion, or you can do that and add some white acrylic paint? (That is what I always used to highlight some of my artworks...) Or mix white with golden or any colors to emphasize the coloring and hightlight of lightnings?

Acrylics are also a great idea. I wonder if I have a brush fine enough, though. Only one way to find out.

The white around the lightning would help it stand out, but also it would help it to stand out if you put darker darks on the hand, but make sure to leave bright lights too :O

You might wanna try hints of yellow along it. I dunno if you think that would take away from the balloon, but it's something I may try on like photoshop or something.

It's a an awesome piece of art work, though! The details are amazing...and the concept is original.

first off i just wanna say WOW! ^^
it looks awesome, i love the way you've done the clouds there's so much detail in there, and the balloon the orange really makes it stand out, it looks beautiful.

The only thing i can see wrong with it, is the pointer finger the base of it looks alittle to big (dont hurt me)

i would totally agree with the others, but if you wanted to do for something a little different, maybe try an night time image, make the background pitch black and the lighting white with flecks of orange in it to match the balloon, this would also make the balloon stand out even more.

All in all it's a great piece of work.
