I'm in college.
I hated high school so much.
So, college is better.
Sure the classes are harder, but I prefer large schools over small ones, and my graduating class had 30-ish people in it.
They wanted to know by business and I wanted them to butt out.
...
Good times...
Yeah...

I'm in college, but I really couldn't decide which ones better. I miss hanging every day with my huge group of friends. But I don't miss the pure stupidity. I love college for the fresh start, not so much for the increased work load....
I also miss high schools summer vacations...
With college it's 52 straight weeks of school with only weekends and stat holidays off. I get Dec. 23rd to Jan 1st off, a 4 day weekend in Feb for spring break... and then yeah the occasional stat holiday... *sigh*
I dunno...

I'm in college and I hate it. D: But I think it could just be MY college. I'm switching out either the end of this year or next year.... But I'm also not really caring for the dorm life. My mom wanted me to experience it and I've got to say I don't really like it. I mean it's basically the same as living at home in my own room, except I get no privacy! And I'm at such a party school so people get drunk every night (Puke all over the place, sidewalks, bathrooms..) and a lot of sexual assaults/rapes. I'm scared to leave my dorm at night!
But that's just me. :) I loved high school, especially last year. Best year of my life I think. I miss it.

Hey, we're going through the same exact situation!
My college is like THE party school in my state. And as a person who will only drink a little with very close friends, I will not go to parties with unknown people... I don't even like parties that much.
Sure, academics are good and all but socially it just sucks here. My room mate and I are total opposites - she's like the loudedst person on my hallway while I'm probably the quietest. I'm transfering next year to another state school with higher hopes that things will work out much better.
However, high school, especially my last two years, were great. I had so much fun and I was the president for a lot of clubs. Actually, everyday in my ecology class I had told my teacher to go kill himself xD

I'm currently in my third year of undergraduate studies...so college/university. Although I miss high school from time to time, I do enjoy college. There are more opportunities to meet new people, not only from within the same province/state, but from different countries as well! My main reason for preferring college, although not a very good one, is that I get more time off during the week than I did in high school. The part that sucks though, is the fact that I'm now paying for my education :(

I'm currently in college and I do miss Highschool. It's just the friend issue, I find it harder to make friends and thus makes me feel really lonely. (After I had a really bad breakup)
But I'm in community, so when I attend an university, I'm sure having a dorm room would be much more better. But I like college for having a wide variation of class times, it's like a whole chain of classes. One class is in the morning and then another class is in the afternoon.
Except in Highschool the classes were shorter and like for one class in College it'd be for three hours.
Though I prefer College over highschool, except for the extreme lonliness.

I am in my first year of university and it is SUCH a big difference workload wise. D:
Highschool is nice because the classes feel more personal and you get very little work.
I do like university a lot because of the freedom although I find all my time going to just school and my sport. I have yet to really feel like I made very good and close friends but I am optimistic that I will. University would be awesome if only the tests were easier!! ><

I just started college and I love it. I love that I can randomly bring up any controversial issue to anyone and suddenly a mature discussion will happen. I could never do that in high school. I still see my friends and it's not a big university so I'm not lonely or anything. I wish I could live in a dorm though. I still miss high school but I think college is a lot better. One annoying thing though is that I tend to have big projects due in all my classes at the same time so I'll end up locking myself away from society to do homework for weeks in a row then after that's done all my classes get chill and the same time and suddenly I have nothing to do....*sigh* life. I don't really think college is that hard for me though. It a whole lot more work despite the fact that I less classes but the material itself isn't too hard.

HMM...Well I'm in college I've got one year left. But I live at Home still and My college is a small school so there's not really much to do. So I'll have to say High school was better. Cuz I was in a youth group went to a vocational high school and had lots of friends. Now my friends live all across the country and I don't get to see them much. So High school was much better.

I prefer college over high school. I hate school in general, but college is more laid back. The high schools here make you wear uniforms. College doesn't. And if you skip classes in college, no one will call your parents. Plus you can pick what time you go to class. Right now, I take 4 classes all in one day, on Mondays and Wednesdays. The rest of the week I can do whatever I want.

I wish my college (Stautzenberger) If you miss a day or a class they call your house like three times. Then if you miss two days in a row for being sick or something if unless you have a doctors note they kick you out. Even tho your paying big bucks to be there. How lame is that!

College is definitely way better than high school. People are at college because they choose to be, not because they have to be. So you don't get as many goof off people. There's less dumb rules about things like bathrooms and what sites you go on on the computers. Nothing is blocked on the computers at my campus. I can go on things like Facebook in class if I want. You can bring your own computer as well. You can eat lunch whenever you want or just go home for lunch. You can choose what times and days your classes are on. High school has no freedom, where college treats you like an actual person capable of deciding things. I'm so thankful I don't have to wake up at some ridiculous time like 7:00 AM to go to school. I can wake up at noon and go to class in the afternoon or at night. I hated grade school so much that I almost didn't go to college, because I just didn't want to go through it all over again, I thought it would be the same. I'm glad now that I decided to go to college after all, because it really isn't like high school.

I'm in college and I would never think for a second that anything about high school is better. My high school was filled with sanity-killers. And probably regular killers, too.

I'm going through my third semester of college, and I would have to say that you'd have to pay me a considerable portion of money before I'd even THINK about going back to highschool.
Not only is it alot more relaxed, but it's so much nicer now that parents aren't involved in everything! Like I know that parents would be coming up to my school going on about how little "Johnny" wasn't doing good in his class and blah blah blah "How could you not give him a passing grade?". All that jazz. When now all of my professors are expecting us to be able to handle ourselves like adults and if we don't do our own work then tough to be us. They're still getting paid no matter what.

I'm a senior in college!!! :D
LOL - I actually find it better in terms of living on your own. I'm forced to become an adult and I don't have to worry about my worrisome parents.
But academically and socially...not so much. Although I have made lots of new friends, I do miss my old high school clique - we don't keep in touch as often as we used to.
But other than that, college is definitely a worthwhile experience.

Yuck high school
College is waaaayyy better because you're actually taking classes you're interested in (for the most part). Paying a ton of money for it also helps with the motivation factor. Pretty much the only thing I dislike about it is the stupid kids that still act like they're in high school... you know, the one kid in that one class every semester that butts in a lot and thinks they are hilarious.
The weird thing about college is that I enjoy having homework. I NEED to stay busy and feel like I'm doing something productive.

Definitely university...high school was boring. In college, (if you're lucky) you get to meet some of the most interesting, intelligent people. I'm in my third year and the professors are great, well most of them, and like Caroline says you actually study something you enjoy! :D
My only problem is that it's most definitely more difficult than high school, not in the sense of the actual work, but you actually have to study. -_- I attended middle and highschool without ever having to study and making As and Bs...so university was like a slap in the face. xD but I absolutely love it, I don't think I ever want to leave o.o

College is WAY better than HS. The only thing that really is bad about college is the out of state tuitions. I found out the hard way that out of state for a Big 10 college is through the roof. It has been my dream since i was in 6th grade to go to Penn State. So my senior year rolled around and I applied to good ole PSU. I have been living with my aunt in Tennessee since my freshman year of HS. So i didn't really have high hopes of getting into PSU cause I had a 3.5 GPA through HS. Well, I got an acceptance letter from Penn State in March, I was not accepted to the main campus however (for those who don't know, Penn State has 20 campuses all around PA). I was accepted to a smaller campus, that was about 45 mins away from main campus. My tuition for the smaller campus, was 17grand a semester. On the bright side, that is money that I saved by not going to main campus. the tuition for main campus out of state would have been around 24 grand. So yea, college is better, except for out of state tuition.
