Phoenix's scream died when the alarm did. Her head was throbbing and pounding painfully. Tears streamed down her checks but she did her best to push the pain aside as Janen spoke to her. She stayed perfectly still as Janen lifted her. A painful moan managed to escape her lips as he brought her into his arms. She laid her head against his shoulder. It did not matter to her that he was a demon, the contact made her feel comforted. He was here to take her away.

At some point she was pretty certain that Janen was fighting while he was running away with her. During this time she almost blacked out due to so much jostling but forced herself to stay conscious. There was so much pain.

She made her self listen carefully to what he was saying and then softly and painfully replied, "The pain . . does not stop. He has used my own techniques against me." She had to pause and splitting stabs of fire shot through her body. Even talking hurt so much. Once she regained some control over her fiercely aching body she continued saying, "You must take me to my room. He has used new magic and power the priestess has not seen. He was wise in making it so only he or I could heal me." Zenos had been very cunning in doing so because either she would be strong enough to heal herself or she would have to seek him out or die.

Phoenix paused once more to gather more energy and opened her eyes slightly so she could look at the demon. In a still painful voice, yet very serious she said to him, "I here and now give you Janen, my angelic binding oath that I will repay this deed. If in the future you have need of me I am in your debt." As soon as she finished speaking the magic of the oath was sealed. This was a rare thing indeed but something Phoenix deemed of great importance. There were only a handful of stories of an angel giving a binding oath to repay the debt of a demon. It did not mean she would blindly do anything he asked of her but if given the right circumstances she was bound by her word to help him when he had need. She would suffer if she broke this oath. Phoenix was positive that saving her had been an order but for her the demon was still worthy of the oath she had given him.

She closed her eyes again and rested against the demon. She could speak no more for if she did she would not have the energy to heal herself. Now they just had to get to her things in her room and she had to stay conscious.

Janen glanced down at Phoenix as she gave her oath. "You really shouldn't be thanking me or giving your oath to me. It was my Commander that had ordered me to come after you. I know he would have came himself, but quite a few things happened so quickly in such a short amount of time that he was unable to come here himself. However I shall take you to your room, and shall not leave until you are healed and returned to health" he said quietly so as not to cause anymore pain unto her with his voice.

The white haired demon had heard only a few stories of the oath that the half mechanical angel had performed. In truth he hadn't understood why it was the angel was showing such gratitude towards him for a simple order he was carrying out, but he figured that if that's what she wished to do he would let it be. Only a few moments after the oath had been made Talon's second reached the door, still securely holding the angel and doing his best as not cause her anymore pain. "We're about to go through the door now. You'll probably feel a bit of a pull" he warned quietly and then proceeded through the door. The pulling feeling he felt only lasted a few moments, as it was much easier to escape Hell than people thought especially for demons, before he found both himself and the angel he held in the room that he had originally came from. He then immediately moved and left the room, heading towards the one that held the very faint angelic aura that matched the angel he held.

After many turns and twists in the hallways, and seemingly many minutes, later Janen found himself in the angel's room. He then quickly though calmly made his way to the bed in the room and gently laid her on it. "Is there anything else that you may need at all?" he asked gently. He was going to stay in the room with her until she was back up to health, so long as it didn't interfere with the healing process.

Phoenix remained quiet once he spoke his piece knowing that if she spent any more energy she would not be able to stay conscious. She would remember what he said though and reply when she could. When he warned of the pull she braced herself against him. The pull was magnified in her current state and it felt as if her skin were being ripped from her body. She could not even scream because of the pain. Her eyesight went dark but used the last spark of energy to pull loose energy from the very air around them and put it in herself. Once Phoenix had done so she was semi stable and did not think she would pass out. However, the pain remained.

Phoenix had never spent so much time in direct contact with a demon before. It was not painful, more like agitating but for her worth it for it gave her comfort. He was there to keep her safe. Even if it was orders it made her feel good.

Once he set her on the bed she said in a low slow voice, "If you could sir I will need you're assistance. I have a bag of medical things in the trunk. Please bring the bag here and set it beside me. I will need further assistance after that." She took a moment to breathe and hoped he would not leave her till she had finished.

Janen wordlessly nodded and moved to the indicated trunk. Gently he lifted the top and removed the bag that looked like it contained medical things. Calmly he then moved back the Phoenix, setting the bag beside her so that it was clearly within her reach comfortably and opened it so that she could access it easily. "What is it you need me to do now? I can't say that I'm trained in medicine or healing, but whatever you need from me I'll do what I can" he said calmly. He wasn't entirely sure what he could do for her, since she was an angel and he was a demon. He believed that his aura or demonic energy would possibly just cause her more pain, but then such things were not his specialty. Really the white haired demon knew that his Commander would be better versed in such things, though he felt that the bat winged demon was neither close nor available at the moment.

It felt good to lie down. She focused now on what needed to be done instead of how badly she hurt. When Janen returned with her medical bag she spoke slowly trying to make things light, "I'm sure you will do splendidly. In the bag there should be a small glass bottle of a silver liquid, looks like melted lead, with tiny red balls floating in it. Then also a half pre-filled syringe with a white rainbow fog. It's a rather big syringe so it will not be hard to miss." Phoenix stopped as pain shot through her once more. She was not sure how long would be able to handle the pain.

After a moment, which seemed longer to her, the pain ebbed. She continued her speaking through labored breathing saying, "Stick the needle of the syringe in the bottle and fill the other half with the silver liquid." For this next part she opened her eyes and looked at Janen and said in a serious tone, "You will need to inject the needle directly into my heart and while you push the potion in you need to lace it with your demonic energy. I know it doesn't make sense but it's the only way to make this work." This procedure was part of the mixture of racial magic she had studied and invented. Zenos had used a similar method to cause her the pain after he ripped the knowledge from her mind. She would explain it to Janen once she was no longer in pain.

Phoenix added, almost forgetting, "Please stick something between my teeth for me to bit down on. This will hurt . . .a great deal."

Janen listened intently to the instructions. He still wasn't entirely sure that he was the right one for this, but again he figured he'd remain silent about it as he had already stated his thoughts. He thought perhaps the pain had gone to her head when she had mentioned that he needed to lace the potion with his own demonic energy as he injected it directly into her heart, but again who was he to judge? As he had told himself medicine was not his specialty so if someone who had that specialty told him to do it, he might as well.

Calmly he dug around in the medical bag, seeking out both the potion and syringe. Neither were entirely hard to find, since they had been described fairly well. His blue eyes then searched the area for something for the angel to bite down on. At the moment the best thing that he could find was a pillow. Quickly he grabbed the smallest one and gently placed it so that Phoenix only needed to open her mouth and cause it to position on its own so that she could bite down on it. He then took the syringe and stuck it into the top of the potion and began to withdraw it into the syringe. It didn't take long for the other half of the syringe to be filled with the liquid. Gently he tested the syringe to make sure that it would inject the liquid, as he had seen it done a few times, and then looked at the angel. "You'll want to brace yourself then" he said calmly. He wasn't entirely sure if he needed to remove the clothing covering her heart, but figured that, that was something he didn't really think would matter too much and quickly located the exact area over her heart. Then as gently as one really could with it, he stuck the needle part of the syringe into the angel's heart and immediately began injecting the concoction as well as lacing it with his demonic energy. He knew any screams of pain that he heard wouldn't phase him, after all torture and pain was something that was a rather common thing to find, hear and see in Hell and he had indeed seen quite the share of it.

It only took him a minute at best to fully inject the liquid, and once the syringe was emptied he quickly, and again as gently as one could in the situation, withdrew the syringe needle. The white haired demon wasn't entirely sure if it was needed, but as soon as the needle left the angel's skin he immediately put light pressure on the area to stop any sort of bleeding. Again this was something he had seen done to others when getting something inject, so he figured perhaps it would be the same here.

Phoenix opened her mouth and bit the pillow that he had placed for her. When he mentioned bracing herself she was already in the process of doing so. Phoenix tightly grabbed the sheets and closed her eyes. The instant the needle was pushed into her and the mixture poured into her Phoenix's whole body tensed in horrific pain. She almost stopped breathing but luckily the mixture and joint energies were already fast at work undoing what Zenos had done.

Phoenix was not sure how long but she finally ended up blacking out. She did not figure it had been long though since when she opened her eyes the demon was still there. The pain was flooding away but her body was tired. She looked at him and said weakly, "Thank you sir. I know you were ordered to bring me back but I still feel I am in your debt. If you wish to know more about the oath I will answer any questions." Phoenix managed a very feeble but honest smile and added, "You did very well in assisting me and your combative skills, though I did not see much, I can gather are very impressive. I see why Talon chose you." She closed her eyes for a moment as sleep was beginning to steal her away but managed to add, "I must rest now but I am well. I am sorry I have taken so much of your time sir. Again thank you." Phoenix was unable to hold on and slipped off into sleep.

(go to my boyfriends for the weekend and all my role plays pass me up. Grrrr)

Alana smiled and kissed Talon on the lips again quite hard. SHe pulled away after a few moments and stood up.

"I suppose I must go talk to Damian now." She grimaced slightly "And tell him my decision."

SHe stood up and walked out the room to go search for Damian.

(grrrrrr dont know where Damian is located.)

She noticed some noise from the other room and walked in to see Damian bullying a fallen in his full demon form. She walked over and stood close by him respectfully waiting for him to call on her. SHe was not going to get him mad at her again.

Penelope stood close to Zeak. She didn't want to be ambushed again, but she was fairly share that Damien had gotten ride of all possible threats. Soon though her father was speaking freely to her.

"Penelope You should return home!" He stated.This caused her to shake her head and close her eyes. "You will be much safer here!" he added before shaking his head and sighing. "You mustn't be defiant at a time like this!" he growled.

"If i move from here everyone will become unruly and the prince will kill them and break the agreement!"She said before feeling her knees getting weak from her fathers influence upon her. She had never done this sort of thing before. Though she was use to his presence and aura, having it directed in her head made her feel weak and she needed to sit. "Besides father I'm a better target if i leave!" She said as she grasped Zeak's arm and allowed herself to slowly sit on her knees and bum.

"You must be carful then, Inform the prince that their will be no more new fallen, any who defy me are now being imprisoned," he said before mumbling "why should i give that tartar any more of my angels!?"

Penelope gave a small giggle as her father quieted a little in her mind causing her to feel a little better. his presence was still their in a protection sort of way.

"Are you alright my lad!?" Zeak asked as he had felt Penelop grab his arm and sink to the floor. It was visible to him that she was being over whelmed by some outside force. even after she looked up at him and smiled she still looked rather weak and pale. "Is it your father?" He asked getting a small nod. Giving a small sigh Zeak held out his hand to the girl and hoisted her to her feet and held her for a moment so that she could gain her balance and stand straight.

(she does do that well lol. It saved me from having to read everything that happened lmfao. It was just so much to read. I was like I wanna get back in but OMG TO MANY PAGES)

Damien just punch the Fallen really hard in the gut, figurng this one was too stupid. He would just keep an eye on him. He went back to his humanoid form and blinked as he noticed he was no longer alone, for all the others had given them space on the balllroom floor while he interigated the new fallen. He turned and saw Alana.

"Ah! Alana, have you talked to Talon?"

She looked up at him a moment and didnt say a word. After a couple of minutes.

"Yes Damian I have. I have talked to Talon and I have made my choice. I am loyal to you and will always be. If you want this done then consider it so. Nothing will change the fact that I will do anything you ask of me no matter how much I dislike it."

She just stood there looking at him trying to figure out a way to get out of this but no ideas came to mind.

Sikura was not sure what had happened as she got closer to Damien and a fallen. Her eyes went to Damien as she looked around the ballroom. She looked then at the fallen that approached him.

Damien gently pulled Sikura close to him. "Alana. I do not want you, I dislike it as much as you do, because you know we wil have to make an heir to the throne at least once, other than that I have no need for you. This is who I want, and it was Talon who came up with this idea. You have the right to say no Alana, however I can not garuntee you will get Talon and protection if you so chose to say no." He held Sikura close.

SHe looked at him a moment and smiled.

"I know this Damian. And as I said anything you want I shall do. Ive been your best friend for years. You deserve to be happy as much as anyone. I still dont know if this plan will work but I will do whatever I can to help you out. Especially since in the long run it will help me out."

She folded her arms and studied the human next to him. She was quite pretty for a human.

Damien released Sikura and stepped in front of Alana and did something he has seen many humans do but has never done it before. He hugged Alana. It was short but it still happened. "I thank you." He lifted up Sikura and returned to his Throne, placing Sikura on his ap and running his fingers through her hair.

"Are you sure your ok with this my Dove? I trust Talon. He will not force himself upon you."
