That's one of the great things about events like this.
You get to chat with other people that you didn't even know existed before!

I always post over there. But with the event going I haven't done it very much because I'm trying to keep up with this one.
I would love to see everyone over at the regular thread after the Event is over.

I used to, but then I had to go back to work and ended up dropping off the face of the earth. Hopefully, now that things are settled down ::knocks on wood:: I'll be able to again. I miss chatting in there.

@Jana: I may start doing that then, once the event's over. I can't promise to be a regular, just 'cause I'm teaching AND studying at the same time, so my freedom is extremely limited. But I'll definitely drop by to say hi sometimes. :3

It always gets in the way of everything. ^_^; But yes...it would be nice if we could all continue having these conversations in the future...I like the relaxed atmosphere of this forum...of this website in general, honestly. Definetly, XD...it makes you go out and post and talk to people even when you don't feel like it...and then you end up enjoying it after all :D

@Sassy: Yeah, I'm technically certified as a teacher already. But I decided to go ahead and begin working on my master's degree...so I can work towards teaching at the college level. Which is what I'm doing right now. I'm teaching two freshman-level courses at the school I'm studying at. O_o It's a lot of work. -_-;

@ Castella: I worked in a junior high last year, but was sent to an elementary school. Just when I think I've got everything figured out, WHAMMO! Something comes flying out of left field and cold cocks me.

@Sassy: Yeah, that seems to be how life works most of the time. I swear, my work is never done here. I'll finally be getting settled into a routine where I've figured out how to balance the million and one things I have to do...and then they'll pile on another gazillion things so that I'm all off-balance and unsettled again. So you work at an elementary school? What exactly do you do there?
