EXACTLY! But I'm looking into it more, learning about hte rites, how to do things properly before I do to much, I did how ever light some candles for the dead on all Hallows eve...and I felt a hand on my throat for quite some time, and I was really warm the whole night.

Tana, I have wavy hair too. It's so annoying, pieces of it will be straight and other pieces will turn into corkscrew curls. Like, it just can't make up it's mind.

@Link: That's for darned sure! I've tried every type of hot rollers on the market, I've tried curlers over night (Then I look like a freaked out poodle for half an hour), and every hair product known to mice or man.

I used to grow my hair and donate it. I started coloring it, though, and although they'll take colored hair as long as it's not bleached the dye damaged my hair too much...

LittleFiend, are you talking about locks of love? I usually try to do it when my hair gets long enough. The last time, they gave me a free haircut 'cause I donated my hair. I thought that was super nice.

Yeah, there are tons of places that accept hair donations.

My hair is shoulder length. Mine's too damaged to donate. Like I said, I'm viciously brutal to it.

@Fiend: I'd never donate my hair. I don't have enough anyway to be happy with it and it grows very slowly. In fact, I took my hair down today after 14 years of not being cut, and it's only just now starting to go down my back below my shoulders.

Yeah, link. They use it to make more natural looking wigs for people who have gone thru chemo and stuff like that. It's a really sweet idea. Using something that you'd usually throw away to help make sick people feel better about themselves.

mines colored right now...i'm working on trying to grow it out to get the color off, by triming it, I gotta get the dye outta my hair, best way is to grow it, cause it can't be chemicaly treated at all to donate it

Yes I was talking about Locks of Love. I always sent it in using the form downloaded because I'd go get my hair done somewhere that I'd been going for years.
My hair USED to grow pretty fast... Like over a foot in less than a year. Now it takes it forever to grow. :(

My mom makes a big deal out of a lot of things. I've hidden a lot from her because of that.last night she was fixing the cover on the couch, and I had my open notebook of my short stories lying there. I would be in for a lot with her (Not punishment, but it would be so awful how often she'd mention it.) if she had read it to try to find out what it was. Luckily, she just figured it was homework and didnt read it. If she knew what I was writing... (it's not inappropriate, I promise)
