I believe you. I used to write for enjoyment in high school. It wasn't inappropriate but I would NEVER have wanted either of my parents to read it. Actually I never let anyone read it. There was nothing wrong with it in terms of content, I just was shy.

I've never done NaNoWriMo but I've known others who have done it. It seems intense! Are you participating, sandalaphon?

Not this year, but my friend is. This month was way to busy to begin with to try to write a novel during it too!

How many times have you done it in the past?

I'm not doing NaNoWriMo because I hate to start things I don't finish, and knowing myself, that's something I wouldn't finish.

Oh I'm excellent at starting things... terrible at finishing them. Terrible.

I've started three times and only finished one. It's so hard to keep going sometimes!

I'm kinda confused

I'd do NaNoWriMo perhaps if I didn't get bored with my characters so fast. I only have the attention span for short stories. XD

I write about love, murder, disaster, magic... a lot of different things. I'd had the most interest with my love story characters, so the stories with them are usually the longest. I was working on it at the time and I am now, and my mother would make a big deal out of it if she saw what I'd written.
It's also 'cause I write for myself. Only my best friend and I have read what I've written. She says if they were books, she'd buy them and I'm all, "D'awww, you're too kind." But even she doesn't know about ALL my stories and my notebook.

Amane, do you think you'll ever publish your short stories? Maybe under a ghost name or something if you wanted to keep who you were private?

Hi there! NaNoWriMo you have to write something that is... 50,000 words, I think (sandalaphon, could you correct me if I'm wrong?) and you have to do it in one month, no more.

@Ukimi - I'm fine. My neck hurts though x_x The soreness won't go away. *whines*

@Cookie: Maybe I would share a certain one after a LOT of work. It's called Escape. It brings Alice in Wonderland to mind.
Oh, my. Naughty fanfiction. XD If I ever did add such naughty, I'd end the scene after giving the reader a clue to what has happened.

I like to completely make up characters. In one of my murder stories, I grew rather attached to a character that was killed and cried a little.

Writing in first person. <3 Third person is lovely, too, but I really love first person.
