@Cardinal: Oh my, you're still getting storms and hail? The first time I saw hail, I was watching it fall in the yard. It was hopping up when it fell like popcorn! I thought they put something in the neigborhood yards to reduce weeds or something and the rain was making it bounce. Ha ha.

I remember getting hailed on in school as a child.
It was always so painful.

@ Cardinal: Dang. I thought we were going to get a tornado here, though that'd be near impossible. It just went from being a sunny, reasonably warm day for this time of year, to windy and cold, with a black sky, to snow flurries, right back to good weather in the course of four hours.

The first time I saw hail I mistook it for snow and then it picked up pace and started to hurt my head. :D
We had some of it in the freezer for the longest time.

The only hail that I have ever seen may have been about the size of peas?
