Nope you weren't the only boy doing it. I dressed up as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and actually came in third place at a costume contest at another pub down the street from ours. I usually don't go there because too many frats and sorority folks hang out there, just not my style, but Halloween doesn't matter, I love this holiday. Other friends of mine were aliens, two of my girlfriends dressed up as Wayne and Garth from The Wayne's World movie. Another friend of mine dressed up as a lifeguard which was blah... A pair of swimming trunks, a t-shirt, and a lifeguard whistle.

It luckily was able to utilize some of my Renaissance Faire clothes I have accumulated over the years. I used a "Cassanova Robe" that was a red velvet material from walmart which costed fifteen dollars, I bought a long white/blondish wig which was five dollars then used a pair of penny loafers I had with a pair of white tights. I used a pair of Renaissance style brown pants, rolled them up, and pinned some golden colored buttons on the rolled up part of the pants. Then I put a black bow in my pony tail to make it look like an aristocratic wig. Some people just guessed I was an eighteenth century aristocrat which was close enough. I should have carried a violin or a baton to give the hint, but oh well.

Mozart is my favorite just because I liked his flippant personality and his God-like talent! I love his simplistic yet song like music. My favorite piece he did was the Fantasy and Sonata in C minor, I can't remember the catalogue number.

I think I like Beethoven better than Mozart...mostly just because Mozart always had everything handed to him all his life and his father paid for everything he owned whereas Beethoven suffered from deafness, he had an abusive drunk father, and possibly had a homosexual relationship with his nephew who commited suicide...

Beethoven I do like as well because of his strong passion he puts into his music. I played the Pathetique Piano sonata for my senior recital, not one of his most difficult pieces to play but still requires skill. His later music (Piano Sonata wise) seems to tell stories from what I could gather and was quite impressionable. The Hammerklavier is a really nice sonata. Mozart was a very frivolous guy, it's really sad neither one of his sons got an ounce of his talent. I really was interested in his sister's virtousity which is not very obvious since she is greatly overshadowed (Nanerl or Anna-Marie Mozart) by her brother. She died one year after Beethoven passed on. Beethoven having a relationship with his nephew?! That's the first time I have ever heard of that. I saw the movie Immortal Beloved and in the movie he wanted to be a soldier. I also didn't know he committed suicide.

Really? I'v never even heard of Mozart's daughter, I should look into that.
Yeah, it was only like a rumor that he was in love with his nephew, but there's alot of evidence...I learned about that in Music History. xD

O.O I'm a little late to the party but I figured I'd go ahead and put what I was for Halloween. I was as many others were a zombie. ;-; I was going to be a moogle but I didn't have the money to finish my costume in time. It was soooo depressing. Either way I went to a zombie walk in my downtown. It was our first and we had a good turn out. BUT EVERYONE WAS RUNNING!! It annoyed the crap outta me. ZOMBIES SHAMBLE DAMMIT! It wasn't as fun as it could have been though because of the fact that I had my leg operated on and since I couldn't afford physical threapy to learn how to use it again I have to wear a boot all the time. And shambling with a bad leg is painful. lmao. Not to mention I had a horrible chest cold, couldn't breath and kept coughing. Anytime someone looked at me I'd break character and be like "what I ate an old lady with pneumonia..," Either way....here's a really lame picture of my last minute costume.

I was a skull person. Trying to get the face paint gave me a bad allergic reaction that caused my face to swell up and itch lick hell though. It's a bit better now but it's totally scaly feeling. Bah to sensitive skin.
