My dad used to watch 'V' the first time it was on the air(years and years ago). I gather they've remade it, since I keep seeing ads for it online. I don't have cable tv, so I don't really know what's going on in the world of tv.

Oh my, I remember V. That was many years ago.

I remember being creeped out by it then. I'm betting with the newer special effects I'll probably STILL be creeped out. Won't let my son watch it that's for sure. He's very impressionable still.

Adii: You knit? I've always wanted to learn. I've got to get my friend to teach me sometime. I tried to teach myself but entirely failed. Learning from a book is not easy for me.

I know / knew it was a remake - but I miss Alien Nation.

Oh yeah, V was a great miniseries back in the 80's. Apparently my parents LOVED it.
SyFy showed the original series yesterday in a marathon, I believe!

Knitting is a very nice pasttime. I love to knit and crochet.

I always say I was thawing the ice sheets when the thread freezes on me.

I sew, both on a machine and by hand. I quite frankly prefer hand sewing, because I tend to get a thread stuck in the machine where it's hard to get out. Usually results in me being pricked.

I still have yet to watch an episode of that series, adiia. I read the first few of the books though, really liked those.

And Alien Nation was a television show - but I believe they made a movie of it.

I wish I could sew. I love designing clothes but I can't make them. I'm hopeless with a sewing machine.

I used to sew my own clothes, but them material and patterns became more expensive than the clothing.

I do way too many crafts and I'm ready to finish this bag. If I can figure out how, maybe when I finish I'll post a picture. I really liked the first season..and plan on recreating some costumes for my Ren Fair use, but we don't have cable since we just moved states :( I'm hoping the put them all online again

The designers do their own sketches, and they are so pretty!

I have a nice sewing machine, but I don't sew. Which is a shame... I really want some Victorian clothing.
