No. Nobody's posted. But anyone who's read it will recognize the title and cower in fear in the corner of their bedrooms. LOL

add condensed after the title? And I bet not that many people read it or will remember the title of somethings they ran away from.

You'd be suprised. Lol. The title itself is long enough as it is. Nah. I have the original copy and all its content saved on my computer, so it won't be a big deal to erase it. There's too much to condense. It would be less time consuming just to start something small from scratch.

Hahaha. Well, my first actual post was pretty much a VERY condensed version of the first chapter of my FIRST book. Lmao >.< This calls for a shot of vodka and a spanking.

Hehehe. Well it leaves room for anybody to pretty much invent their own little section of that world, from how it looks to the people in it. Once a few relatively normal posts are made in response to the story, it won't be so bad, and people will be able to get beyond the first one and continue on with their characters. It's just being the ribbon snipper that's the hard part. :/

waaa!!! I don't wanna be the ribbon snipper then! I've never even written in a group rp before. But I kinda always wanted too....I'm scared to join them though.

Hehehe. Don't be afraid hun. Do you really think I could write something like that and then NOT be able to help/support the posts you write in response? It might take a bit of practice, but once you find your place in the story as a whole it's quite worth it. I do live action role-plays in real life, and occasionally even get paid for my stories. I wouldn't be telling you all this if I didn't know what I was doing. Lol. I'll even go easy on you. ;) You don't have to make a really long reply. Just invent your character, what the land around them looks like, and a brief bio of yourself and your people. :) (All you really have to consider is who and what you are and what kind of life you live in The Realm.)

But, if you're still not comfortable, you don't have to. :) Just never be afraid to try new things. You might be surprised at what a great writer you could be! This is just the sort of thing that makes awesome practice for writing books as well. *wink*

aw...well. I think I'll try then. I think I have a character in mind and if I make myself, I know I can write something nice in reply. I'm just always really anxious to try new things. 'Cept food!!

Food ftw for sure! :drool: Just give it a go! Remember, I gave you as much creative license as you could possibly ever want. :heart: Lol. I would suggest skimming the summary of The Realm at the top once more, and then spill your character onto the page. :D More people will be encouraged to jump in along the way once they pick up that pattern, and it won't be even half as hard as it looks. ;)

alright....*dredges up creative juices* I'll take a stab at it. lol, I can't think of a name so I might be a bit longer!! I almost have it...phoo, I hate picking names sometimes.

Sometimes I event names by making combinations of some of my favorite names, or sometimes even tossing random nifty sounds together until I actually come up with a word. Hehe! Like when I invented the Valrae. That name just popped into my head out of nowhere. (I'm sure it's been used somewhere in the world before, but hey, what hasn't -.-)

one more thing, is it day or night? I don't feel like re-reading anything to figure that out.

In most places in The Realm, it is usually night, or at least a sort of twilight. If you want to invent a space of the land that does have a sort of sunlight, that's just fine. :)

alright. I'm rather fond of night, so that works for me. I was just wondering.

Yep ^-^ And the section of The Realm where your character lives can have as many moons, stars, twinkling lights, mists, etc... as it wants. ;)

It was a little challenging, but starting things is always challenging for me. Wow! I'm so awake now!!!! not so good though, its after 1....

I wish I didn't feel so awake. It's past two here. But my book is keeping me awake, and now you are most assertively peaking my interest. Lol! You don't know how much this thrills me! I've been aching to get this thing off the ground, and I am just tickled pink to see it get such a great start! You couldn't have begun with a more perfect introduction! People will be able to look at what you posted now and get a good idea of how they can slide their characters into the story, and it will only get easier along the way, as well as even MORE exciting! *SQUEE* I think you sold yourself short honestly. Despite how long my setup was, you understood it very well and I think you worked your way in there exactly as I had intended.

*blush* awww.....you really thinks so? I feel so happy now! I don't think I would've ever joined a non-private rp if you hadn't kept mentioning it. I'm glad I did though.
