does anyone else out there have older game systems that are just dying on you?

mine aren't actually dying, but the controllers are. i have an old Sega Genesis, and the controller has been crapping out for years, altho i might have fixed it. i'll have to check next chance i get. also, i have an old PS1. i had got 3 controllers for it: the one that came with it, a used one, and another brand new one. first, the controller that came with it died, then the brand new one. both of them, the X button died. now, i'm afraid to keep playing on it cuz i don't want the used controller to die!!! i love those games so much, and it kills me not playing them!!
i don't supposed anyone knows where i might could get an old PS1 controller.
or yet, can you save PS1 games on PS2 memory cards? if that's possible, then i might buy one of those...

The best possible place for you to check would be ebay or craigslist. You should find some really good deals on exactly what you are looking for. In fact, my friend just purchased a like new atari system. So, if ebay has that they'll definately have what you're looking for. Best of luck!!!
