The tall lanky man stood idle, a big maroon hooded robe covered his body, his face was overcast by a dark shadow. He was observing a giant wooden gate, he knew what it was protecting and was trying to find a way around its ancient and powerful protective enchantments. He shifted his wait from left to right shifting the gravel beneath his bare feet.
Finally the man pulled back his left sleeve revealing a long fingered bony tattoo covered hand. He leaned down and grabbed a chain from under his foot it jangled as he gave it a hard and deliberate tug which resulted in a squeal from behind a large rock.
“Come here.” Growled the man in a harsh hoarse voice. Instantly a boy no older then twelve crawled out from behind a large rock his ankle chained like a prisoner. He wore rags for clothing and you could notice his ribs as he was severely malnourished. He approached the man in the hood shaking like a leaf from head to toe, he had witnessed many horrors no child should bare. The man placed his hand over the boys head pushing down heavily. The boy writhed and squirmed and then dropped dead.
The man’s powers were replenished.
The man lifted his left hand and spoke “Cera Kin Mora Disku Kuin Tra.”
The wooden gate swung open much to his delight, he moved swiftly through the gate carefully closing it on his way in. He walked slowly through the corridors of the building observing every dust covered painting, every crack in the wall he knew magic was mysterious and didn’t know where “he” was hiding.
