"Ahh, honest mistake," the vampire chimed in a sarcastic tone. Then continuing, "Well if I do die down here in the... Underdark, I do hope it is in your arms and by your hand... I think that death would be much less difficult to accept than any other I can think of. Do you not agree," he asked seductively with an expression to match. Vik placed a soft kiss at the base of her neck followed by another slightly further up. Then he stopped remembering the hunger he had as he fought off his urge to take a bite of the woman and taste her as he asked, "Where do you keep the blood at woman, my stomach beckons to be heard..." Then as he walked around her so that he could look her eye to eye, "...Or else you may be the one to quench my thirst," he added jokingly with a smirk and a wink.

Fayne tilted his head, clenching his hand into a fist as he reached down to grab the edge of his sleeve. Since there was a tear from his earlier sparring match, the drow merely used his teeth to rip a good sized strip from the end, using to to wrap his hand. A slight smile graced his black lips.
"I told you. There is no one that will willingly give their blood to a vampire in these tunnels." The tall male shook his head, motioning toward the bowl. "How long will that keep you satisfied?" They didn't need her going without blood for so long that she randomly ate someone in the halls or something.
He'd completely ignored her question about his hand being alright; he didn't want her pity. It was only a surface wound. He'd been through far worse, even as a young child. The life of a drow meant nothing - it was devoted to pain, suffering, and striving to be the last one alive. If anyone else was still there, then you needed to watch for their blade. For once, a flit of curiosity moved Fayne. But he said nothing. He didn't need to question Holly on the ways of the surface dwellers, even if he wanted to know about their ways.

"Only if you asked," Selk purred, her intense gaze a mixture of anger and playfulness. "But I will give you the same options as Holly, I'm afraid." She slipped another piece of fruit into her mouth before continuing. "The prisoners, if we have any, are your food. If not them, then you'll have to eat Fayne." She wrinkled her black nose. "I suggest Fayne. He is bound to be a better kill."

'I'm afraid our contract is up... I no longer ask for what I want, I take it and I want no part of Fayn," he said with a small smile on his face as he walked behind Selk once more. Pushing her hair to the left side of her neck so that he could better choose a location, he leaned over placing his chin on her shoulder and smelling her as he felt the blood rushing through her veins. "I think I will take a sip of your blood, but not right now... I think I can wait," he announced honestly. He wasn't exactly sure how she would take that but as far as he was concerned he really didn't care, besides she smelled too sweet to pass up.

"You seemed willing. I didn't ask you to do that." Holly said quietly looking down. "A day or two. I could go three if I really tried. But that's about the maximum." Biting her lip she could still taste his blood in her mouth. Accually he didn't taste that bad. She had expected drow to taste funny because they never saw the light of day. But he tasted perfectly normal. Or maybe she was just going completely insane."Okay, why don't we go and you can teach me some more stuff. Cause just standing here is getting really tense. And if you're not hurt, shouldn't you be doing your job? I wouldn't want to tell Selk that you're not doing your job and training people."

Neam slinked through the halls, nose catching a whiff of blood. She had gotten used to the scent down here, drow always eager to spill each other's blood.


((If you vamps think drow is tasty, wait till they manage Neam's. I think she'd be willing to be food, especially if the vamp was skilled enough in woo-joo to make the bite feel good.))

Lorn lurked in the shadows of the hallway after the vampire girl and Fayne walked by. He hadn't been to happy about someone walking in on his training. Anoth being, not a drow, walked through the hall and he froze. What was it. "Excuse me..." A woman..."Umm...Excuse me Miss. If you don't mind my asking. Who are you? And why do you wonder the halls as if this.." He motioned around them. "..Place is your home?" Being one of the Drow who was not informed of the fight or the new matron he had no idea what a dragon was doing in his homeland.

Neam stopped, looking at the drow. "I am a friend of the Matron's," she said, a slow smile easing onto her lips. "I did her a great favor, and am waiting for the gift she has promised me in return." She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly. "You are more outspoken than the other men of your race. I'm surprised they hadn't beaten it out of you."

"Well they have...at least Fayne has." He mumbled looking at the woman. "I did not know our matron had ever left this little world of ours." A slight look of confusion crossed his dark face for less then a moment. "What favor did you do for the matron? And what is she going to repay you?" A slight smile appeared on his face. "Excuse me for not saying this earlier...I'm Lorn."

Neam's smile increased. "I helped her put down a rabid dog," she said by way of explanation. "That particular dog had other strong helpers, so the matron needed some of her own." She started looking the drow over, reaching out and lifting a few strands of hair away from his face. "I am called Neam in other places, it is what I am called here as well. Your matron is having a set of your kind's armor made for me."

"Umm..I give up...Who are you talking about?" Lorn asked her, completely ignoring the fact that she reached over and touched his hair. Yeah, that sounded a little strange, but wasn't that technically an act of kindness? No drow would ever do that. "Nice to meet you Neam. I'm still not so sure we are speaking of the same woman right now. And if you don't mind me asking, since you are not 'my kind' what are you? I know you're not human."
