I write mostly Alternative/Modern/Emo rock, and a majority of that is love songs or break up songs, but I've also written some friendship songs, and tried a few political songs as well. :)

Yeah, that's mostly the sort of stuff I listen to, but I do like very small amount of Pop, and even more rarely, Country, but overall, I try to be open about what I listen to, just because you never know how it would sound in your own style. :)

I know what you mean. I don't do the whole lyric thing anymore, but I do play the bass and the keyboard, so I know all about inspiration being drawn from other genres.

How do you like Mene so far?

I'm not really sure, heh, I only just got started, and I'm trying to figure out how to get clothing on the little avatar. I don't think I have any, and that could very well be the problem, and I'm always a little forum shy, but there's tetris, and tomorrow my friend will be online. :)

Yeah, Mene doesn't start you out with any clothing... I'm pretty sure it's an incentive to just throw yourself into the community so that you can earn enough gold to buy your first items. By the looks of it you've got enough gold for something to start with.
The Fangirl game is a pretty decent way to earn gold, too, once you get the hang of the strategy.

I'm dreadful at games like that, games like the fishing, Snake and Tetris are more my speed, I do well with monotony at times, yet I'm usually very hyper, so it's probably a calming method.

I adore Tetris, too... but... sometimes I just don't have the time for it and I can leave the fangirls game running in another tab while I do other stuff once the round starts. So maybe it's just the multi-tasker in me?
The fishing game and snake don't really get along with me. Haha

Haha, I'm not a multitasker in the slightest, sometimes I wonder if I have ADD because of my ridiculously short attention span, but I wouldn't know. Snake keeps me entertained, because I go on the fastest speed and I can't look away, or I die, it keeps me busy. ^_^

I'm exactly the opposite, it's my ADD-ish tendencies that make me want to do about 38947239 things at once, so I always have multiple tabs open and I'm doing about fifty different things. xD

Eeps. Snake kills me on the slow speed. Because apparently I have bad timing.

Ah, I just get easily distracted, and mindless things, like Snake, Tetris, and Mahjong keep me busy for a good period of time, but then I go back to other things and I bounce around a lot.

I dunno why, but I can't stand the slow speeds, it makes me feel impatient, which is weird for me.
