Oh, that's neat.
So! I'm only a little ways away from my goal.
I need 165k and then I get the crowns... and I'm going to win. ;)

Sounds about the same. I've been taking it easy and hanging out with friends or doing some lawn work for extra cash.
Everyone else is working; they tell me they hate it.

I've been taking care of our lawn. lol My mom will randomly give me some cash here and there to make up for all the work I do around the house and what not, but I still need to get a job.
Eh. Jobs can suck, but its better than sitting around doing nothing. And you get a pay check, which is the best part. lol

This is true! And experience on a resume.
I've just been lazy and haven't earnestly been searching for one. But now that people are calling me to do their lawns again, I think I found the motivation.
The money is great, don't get me wrong. I averaged out quite a bit on an hourly rate, but it's a lot of manual labor.

I've been lazy, too. I hate doing the searching, despite how much I want a job.
Yeah, I use to mow the lawn of the old woman that use to live down the street and she'd pay me for it. I hated mowing. Ugh. I still dont care for it, but I like our yard to look nice, so I just mow it each week. lol
Yeah, I miss a paycheck. It use to be so handy. lol

Our yard is a hot mess; we all do obscene things to each other to make the other mow.
We'll mow, but that's really the extent of our lawn care, hahaha.
We have some neighbors who were really into the whole gardening and keeping grass thick and green. But since they moved out, it has been young men with a six pack permanently attached to their hand.
A paycheck would be pretty handy.

Haha. Its just me and my mom at the house usually, since my dads usually always at work. My dad is always stressed enough when he comes home, so in my doing the yardwork and taking care of a few things, it gives him a few less things to much of worry about.
Hmm. Well, if it was young men with a six pack that were doing yardwork, then that would be okay. Haha. xP;; But thats a bummer. However, all of my neighbors are very intense when it comes to yardwork. They're mainly all old and retired, so they have plenty of time to dwell on their yards. Haha.

One of the little old men told me he'd do it himself, but he said he was getting too old. "One minute you can push your own lawnmower, and the next minute you pull your back trying to lift a spade," lol.
I think my favourite yard was when I sat in the raspberry mess and sorted out all the dead stalks from the new ones and then re-strung them. I was proud to see them grow and develop berries.

It was just nice to sit there and work for a while without being interrupted. Sometimes I'd listen to comedy clips or podcasts while I worked. I found this great one called "The Moth". People go up on stage without notes and just tell stories based on the theme of the night. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes they're supposed to be inspirational, and sometimes they're just stories.
The first time I heard it was when the college radio state was airing some stories before classes. I caught the tail-end of some comedian and laughed so hard that I had to find out more about the organization. Needless to say, it's fun to hear.
