Clair doesn't mind needles. But she can't stand the sound of drills. x_x Especially dentist drills.

Why? Ah! The pain ofthat. Yeah. If I ever get a tooth removed, wisdom teeth pulled, or a cavity . . . I'm telling to to just put me out. Sure they can numb by mouth, but that requires a needle. And just seeing the needle going towards my mouth will make mending a scream in the opposite direction.

Ugh, Clair has had several surgeries in her mouth, her wisdom teeth removed and one cavity. She wasn't in pain for any of those, but she wasn't asleep. The only time they put Clair to sleep was for her wisdom teeth, but that was such a traumatic experience anyways. *shudders* When Clair woke up, she was surrounded by 10-15 different doctors/nurses she didn't know, in a very tiny room, and they all decided it was a good idea to hover over Clair. Clair literally screamed, thrashed and sobbed for 45 minutes before any of them figured out that "Oh, she's awake and wants her mother. And for us to back off." They were awful to Clair. Ugh, she hated that day SO much.

Clair dislikes the dentist, so much, that when she hears something that sounds like a dentist drill, she cringes, gags and covers her mouth...even though Clair has never had her teeth drilled.

I was such a goof when I had my wisdom teeth removed. My mother was paying the bill at the counter when I wandered off through the offices and found the elevators. There was a man standing there who was surprised to see me and I was trying to explain what happened but I was so high from the IV that it came out as giggles and slurred speech.

And I had a mouth full of cotton and an ice bandage around my head.

@ crane - Yeah, my tailbone. Someone I mange to put it out of place all the time. D: It hurts if I try to lay on my stomach on the floor.

And that sounds like a pretty funny story. I bet he was rather amused.

Clair wishes she'd been silly after waking up from my wisdom teeth.

Nope, just an IV with a painkiller. I don't recall the drug, or the painkillers for the recovery period. I was upset that I couldn't finish my shumai, though. I bought a few just before the surgery and for some reason I thought I'd be able to walk out and eat food immediately afterwards.

Ooh, that doesn't sound pleasant at all, Suona.
Perhaps feldenkrais?

It's some kind of method of movement that's supposed to be more efficient and less detrimental to your body. In my opinion, it's a pseudo-medicine, but I've met a few people that enjoyed it.

Physical makeup? lol

And my tailbone didn't use to hurt. It just happened a couple years ago or something. And no, I dont think there was anything that specifically caused it. I never noticed until I had Self Defense. We would do kicks, and I couldn't hold my left leg up for very long, because there was a muscle that'd strain really hard and hurt. My instructor asked by I kept putting that leg down before the kicks were done, and I told him it strained the muscle. He also knows chiropractics and knows massuese stuff, so he said it was probably my tailbone and looked at it and said it was pretty swollen. He pulled me aside and had the rest of the class start on the bags, and started doing stretches that are supposed to help it. lol It was really a weird day. The guys in the class just stopped hitting the bags and were chatting and watching us. ><;;

Swollen? How odd.
Stretching would definitely help. I know that my hip flexors can give me problems if I don't stretch out before something strenuous. And usually I don't, so the next day I can hardly bend my legs at the waist, ahaha.

Doing good. I have class in an hour and a half. I was going to go exchange some jeans at the mall, but I decided not to cause I didn't know if I'd be able to get another parking space or not. Even though it is friday and more likely at 1:00-1:30. Oh well, next week. But I'm going to log off for a bit whilst I go to the bathroom and grab some lunch. Can't leave my computer alone.

Parking at the university is a nightmare. You're lucky to park within half a mile of the class you need to be at.
