I went to my aunt's house with some of my family. It was... eh. .w.; I hadn't wanted to go, but I gave in in the end because I wanted to see my cousin (he's three).

A testament to his cuteness: He had never heard of a turkey before so, naturally he associated it with another animal he had seen. He called the turkey, on his own, "an ugly chicken". It was HYSTERICAL. No one expected that. Lol.

Okay. I had a hard night last night. I can barely keep my eyes open right now, but I wanted to get on and do some posts because I'm going to be gone all weekend.

I went to my mom's place. It's been fun. I'll be heading back home tomorrow. I can't wait. The baby hasn't been sleeping too well here.

Yeah...plus, I've been going out. Like last night I got invited to a show with some friends. We didn't stroll in until about 4 am. Aila's daddy stayed to watch her for the night, but the moment I came in he went to an empty room to sleep because Aila had been up most of the night. Of course, I was exhausted at that point, but I got lucky...she didn't give me a problem. I think she just missed me.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. xP

Does her dad not stay with her often..?

Not really, maybe once a week, so she really isn't that close to him.

Oh, it's no problem. I don't really talk about it, but long story short, she wasn't planned. I didn't know I was pregnant when my boyfriend and I broke up. I even dated someone else, but when I found out I was pregnant I knew it was his because I hadn't slept with anyone else. He seems to think I slept with the guy I was dating. BUT, he's come around after I had her because mutual friends told him that Aila looked like him. He doesn't come around all too often though.

That's unfortunate... No, not unfortunate, that SUCKS. But you sound like a loving mother, and that's all she really needs.

I mean, not to be a jerk or anything, but I grew up without a father. I had my mother, and she wasn't such a great mother to say the least... but I had people who cared about me- my paternal grandparents, and I turned out okay, I think. So, Aila will be perfectly fine with you. Better than me even. =]

Thank you. I hope she does turn out fine. That's all I seem to worry about with her, the fact that she won't have both parents playing a big role in her life.

I've been doing shopping and things. Today we had extended family over for Christmas. Then tomorrow it's with immediate family. All this cooking is so tiring.
