the book is called Marked and it's part of a series called the House of Night. The author's are Kristin and P.C. Cast.

well first off you don't turn cuz a vampyre bit you but b/c some chemical like change in your body. they have like blue crescent moons on their foreheads and it's just cool.
though i hate when a character i want to like leavs a bad taste in my mouth thus making me wary of liking them

yeah... i thinking we have no reason to hate him... but it's just i've learned to be mistrustful. cuz it really really sucks when you like a character and they end up being evil
