yeah you have to add water to acryllics. I mean not like too much to make them watery but enough that they will flow. Unless you want a drybrush technique, which can look really cool. We need to have a painting session so I can show you how to use acryllic paints.

I know how to use them. I've done like 5 paintings. I don't like them. I'm not ALLOWED to add water.

Then you don't really know how to truly use them cuz that's lame. You can't even like dip your paintbrush in water at all? Your teacher doesn't know what to do with acryllics.

we can dip our brush if using a thick color. it dilutes the colors though and its a class about color.

that's lame.. like really lame. Cuz drybrush acryllics are a pain in the butt to use. have you ever used acryllic in any other situation?

all of the paintings I was speaking of were done in high school. I have one hanging on the wall at home. they look alright, but I still hate using them.

aww... lame I hate using water colors, they always look washed out and boring. Acryllics are always nice and bright.

you don't use watercolor right. the can be really effective and vibrant.

well you don't use acryllics the way I would use them.... so perhaps we need to show each other how to use them.

I guess. I don't even know if I use acrylic all that different than you out of class.
