i'm organizing my bookshelf and finishing my room, since i'm working all the rest of the week. well except thurs. but that day i'll probably go up to sam w/ my sister

bleh, too much work. I'm doing yard work probably and cleaning my room.

it's money and that's what i want. i'm going to die monday though. that's my longest shift and my first day back on the job.

ew, so unfun. I'm not all that big of a money spender. I'm getting a job mostly to make mom happy. I want the work experience but I really don't want it at the expense of working where I'll hate it.

i like spending my money. plus the deal w/ my parents is that i pay for my gas and any unnecessary items (i.e. going to the movies, eating out, etc.) and they pay for my college.

yeah, that's the way things are for me but I don't use gas unless I'm driving to a job so....and I don't go to movies often at all. I still get paid for mowing the lawn and now distinct chore payment.

well i don't get paid for chores, never have.

and i definitely use a lot more gas than you. definitely.

and movies in huntsville are 3-5 dollars, i go to a lot of movies. Speaking of which, you wanna go see prince of persian sometime after it comes out?

we didn't until now but my mom wants us to actually do them. we used to get allowance for good grades. no more. just chores. only get paid if you do the chore and remember to mark the sheet though mom has yet to come up with the sheet.....

lol that sounds like a failure waiting to happen. we've never gotten paid for chores or good grades. we were just expected to do stuff like that.

grades we basically allowance. we got that. yes it is doomed to fail but I don't mind getting some money while i can.

i wish i got money for grades... i guess if my parents figured i needed incentive to get good grades i may have but not likely... i once got 20 dollars from my grandparents for good grades once, that was really random

well, we get paid like 2 dollars for A's at the end of the month and like 1 for B's and zip for anything else. not much. no more of that now that we're in college. summer chores now since I'm th only one likely to do them without being forced.
