((Alright. I'll have See'r go off for a few months . . . and then find Nina. They'll stay gone for a while, and perhaps when Ember goes to the council, or a few days before, I'll have him show up in the clan again.))

See'r wandered the city for a few days, searching for Nina. Upon not finding her, he began to grow worried. A feedling loose on her own? What have I allowed to happen?
Becoming more obsessive with his search, the silver-haired vampire began to look into places farther from the clan. Thoughts of abandoning Kamen and Ember completely swirled through his head, but See'r ignored them.
Ember would need a few bits of training from an elder vamp, and See'r felt that he should be the one to help her. Unfortunately, letting Nina run loose on her own made him cringe. The riddle of a woman that escaped his sight was driving him crazy.
"Nina," he muttered to himself after leaving yet another building.
"Where are you?"

Nearly four months later, See'r finally found a bit of a trail. Someone had seen Nina, and that was enough to send the vampire in her direction.
For the first time in months, See'r felt a bit of hope flit into his mind. He had finally found where she resided.

((Hehe . . . where is she, exactly? I'll have See'r come to her.))

she was at the bar having a good time still not knowing about herself a lot but she lives at the bar now she works there too she hears of a man looking for a girl "that man can come here and maybe i can help him find this girl" the girl ran to find the man again "sir i saw the girl you are looking for she is at the bar she lives and works there now"

The tall man looked at the girl.
"You would help me?"
See'r tilted his head questioningly, his red eyes narrowed.
"I'm looking for a girl named Nina. Perhaps you have heard of her?"

Ember sat on the train clutching Kamen's hand. She was scared of what might happen. "What if I'm not smart enough?" She asked looking up him frightened.

"she is at the bar down the shreet from here" she points at the bar

"She works there?" See'r asked, reaching out to stroke the girl's hair. Perhaps it would be best to get this little bird out of the game. His red eyes gleamed with hunger; it had been a while since his last meal.
"You know that Nina works at that bar there?"

"of course she works for my father she is so nice to me i can take you there please fellow me" the little girl goes to her father bar and points to nina working at the bar and nina smiles

See'r forgot about his hunger instantly. In fact, he forgot about the girl that had lead him to the woman he had been searching for.
"Nina?"
The tall vampire stepped over to her, his red eyes narrowed.
"This is where you've been this whole time?" His pale hand shot out to brush against her cheek, and See'r smiled slightly. Every move he made was different, a bit more smooth than it had once been. See'r had filled out a bit; he wasn't quite so thin, though still taller than any human he stood beside. See'r had changed.
"I've missed you. I've been looking for you, Nina."

she looks at him and smiles and said "sir i am going now i will see you tomorrow" she grabs see'r hand and takes him to her room than locks the doors "listen see'r i left for one reason to understand myself i know i have a soul i am not like you or ember or kamen for that matter i didn't care of that i did miss you but when i left you don't love me you said i shouldn't fall for you i would end up like nala did so tell me you still think i am falling for you and like nala did i don't want to kill the clan leader he is nice and she killed herself i didn't i just left there" she looks at him with her cute white eyes than she turns and gets a black rose she loves them ever since she was turn into a vampire in the first place

Kamen looked down at Ember and laughed. "That is all that you are worried about?" He shook his head as he gently kissed her cheek. "You are beside you survived me and you got me you had to be smart to pull all of that off!" He laughed as he looked at her. "I love you Ember and I know you are smart enough."

See'r stayed silent until Nina was finished.
"Do you still love me?" the tall man asked, stepping up to stand beside the woman. She, too, had changed - far more than See'r could understand.

she looks away from him and hides her face and siad "i still love you but u have changed i think you don't love and you don't want me" she cries a little bit

A slight smile broke out on his pale face, and the vampire reached forward to wrap Nina up in a hug. "You silly girl," See'r growled. He wiped some of her tears away. "Still wrapped up in your human emotions." His face softened. "The longer you were gone, the more I thought about you." He kissed the top of her head. "Of course I love you."

she looks at him and cries in his arms "i have missed i left to understand myself i now know i am a vampire with a soul i want to protect humans like my bosses daughter she is a sweet girl" she smiles again "i know you don't want me back and as your lover

See'r struggled to understand.
"You want to protect humans?" he said, frowning. "That's like saying you won't eat for the rest of your life."
His slender arms slipped from around Nina, and the tall vampire looked at her in confusion.

"see you wouldn't like it you can kill me if you want" she lets him have the first shot to hurt her

"'Shot,' Nina?" The pale man frowned. "Is that what you think? That I came after you to kill you?" His cerise eyes darkened, and he stepped closer to her. "If you give me the chance, then fine. I will make my first move."
See'r carefully leaned down, taking Nina's hands in his. The silver-haired vamp kissed her knuckles, and then her wrists.
"Just because you have chosen to protect the humans doesn't mean I hate you," he said. Reaching up, he grabbed her shoulders and drew her to his chest. His cold arms wrapped around her, and See'r kissed the top of her head.
"Why do you wish to shelter the weak creatures?" he asked. "Why help the humans, Nina?"

she looks at him "i was human once remember i was going to kill them but when i saw the little girl i knew i couldn't i have feeling for humans still i love that little girl i just wished i had a daughter i know i can't" she cries "i always wanted to be a mother i love children" she looks at him and cries

"A child?" See'r's eyes softened.
He kissed her forehead, and then her eyes.
"You really love youth, Nina?" The vampire smiled sadly. "Children really do have a spark of innocence. I envy them."
See'r sighed.
"You can have a child," the tall man said, pulling away from her. "We just need to speak to the council. They can arrange for you to have a human child, perhaps. Adoption."

"please see'r don't have a cow alright you know i love children vampire child are cute as well and see'r i have been thinking about this for a while now" she blushs for what she is going to say "will you marry me i know nala wouldn't marry you please see'r i still love you" she blushs even more

See'r's eyes widened, and he stiffened.
"You don't know what you're asking," he hissed, stepping away from Nina. "I don't-" The vampire paused, and shook his head. "I can't."
His red eyes filled with a deep sorrow, and he moved to stand near the window. "I just can't, Nina." With a sigh, the tall man slumped to lean against the wooden frame.

she hides her face again she goes to the door and said "go back to ember and kamen you belong there" she runs out of her room and goes to the graveyard and cries as well she thinks again i knew it he doesn't love me he will never love me again if i go to the grabe of nala maybe i can know about itshe is at the grave of nala she must know about

See'r sighed when Nina left the room.
"Go back," he repeated to himself. "Yes, why did I leave in the first place? To follow some . . . some woman?" The vampire scoffed. "What a fool I am. What did I hope to gain?"
He pushed himself away from the window with a look of disgust.
Should I crawl back to the clan in hopes of them accepting me back? Or should I stop being a coward and force myself to settle in with Nina?
When he glanced back out the window, a flashback suddenly hit him.


"You are such a coward!"
See'r shook his head indignantly. "I am no such thing."
"Yes, you are! You can't even force yourself to stay in love with a single woman!" Nala growled in frustration. "You never even admit that you're in love!"
"I did," he said. "You just-"
"Don't listen?" Nala glared at his pale face. "I listen, See'r. You just refuse to acknowledge it."
See'r sighed.
"Why don't you commit youself to this? To me?" the woman's hands grasped his hand frantically. "Why won't you?"
"I can't." The silver-haired vamp shook his head. "You know I can't. You have no idea what you're asking me to do."
"Yes, I do," Nala rolled her eyes. "I'm asking you to stay true to one person: to me! And you, out of fear, will continue to refuse."
"I. . . ." See'r couldn't respond.
"Everyone dies, See'r. Everyone loses something. But that doesn't stop them from committing when they have the chance."


See'r shook his head. The memory cleared away, leaving him standing in the middle of Nina's room.
Should I stay? Or should I return to Ember and Kamen?

right before she left the bar she told her boss to give see'r a letter after she left her boss went to her and found him in her room and said "you must be see'r nina told us about you she must be lucky to have you around her oh yeah here is a letter for you" he gives him the letter it said Dear see'r i am sorry for what i have done for your heart and to be like this i am sorry see'r i hope you forgive me if you want to find me i am going to the place that made your heart like this i am going to the grave of your old lover nala i am going to be there and find out what is wrong with you please find me i hear strong vampires like to come here they might turn me into a vampire like you i hope you come love always nina she was in the grave yard but she was out cold the vampires know what she is she will be turn like see'r not knowing about herself she wants to be saved by see'r

Seeing the letter broke something inside of See'r.
I go to Nina. That is my choice.
Slipping out into the streets of the city, the vampire streaked toward the graveyard - he knew exactly where Nala was buried, and that was where he'd find Nina.
When he arrived, he dropped low to the ground, hissing. If anything threatened her. . . .

"Nina?" his soft voice entwined with the gentle mist as it wove about the gravestones.
"Nina, where are you?"
