See'r looked down at Nina, his expression softening. "Why couldn't you fall for another?" His voice caught, but he continued. "Marry me, Nina. I wish for you to be mine forever."
A sixth sense suddenly rang in his head, and he felt that something was amiss. He tried to ignore it, but eventually let himself focus on the problem - it was linked to Ember.

Ember? his voice was low, for the distance between them was already great. But See'r fought to keep the link open between them. Ember, don't do this.

Ember stood in front of the Council. She heard See'r in her mind but ignored him. She bowed as the Council spoke amongst themselves on her propisition. They turned to her and then one of them stood. "After reviewing your stories and your results of you past test, We accept your proposal." He said. She bowed then another Vampire came and dragged her out of the room.

He felt Ember blocking him out. See'r sighed, and closed his glowing eyes. "She's turned herself over to the council," he said aloud. "She's going to die." The tall vampire recalled memories of training Ember, how she had grown to be so strong so fast. In a desperate last attempt, See'r sent images of the older times to Ember's mind - times of happiness and hope, of growth and companionship.
If you must do this, then know you will be missed.
See'r saddened, his eyes locked on Nina, but his mind elsewhere. The vampire stroked Nina's cheek, watching her with growing depression.
I plead with you not to go through with this. Please, Ember. This is not how it should end, my friend.

Silly See'r. I'm not killing myself. The council needed new members, and I am more then wanted to take position on the board. She said to him in his mind. She smiled as the vampire that had dragged her out of the room fitted her into a dark red robe that fit and tugged nicely around the shape of her body.

You joined the council? See'r balked, his face showing pure startlement. You will be one of them? What are you thinking, you silly girl? They are ruthless killers, Ember! Pure evil, yet you go to become one of them? What on earth are you thinking?
The vampire sighed, bringing Nina into a hug. See'r closed his eyes to concentrate enough to speak with Ember - it was growing harder with his emotions spiking as they were.

I might just die sooner. I have a mission already waiting for me. Ember Said to him her voice still crystle clear and angelic.

See'r flinched, her voice too clear. His own was muddled with emotion, unclear more than half the time; like a worried mumble.

See'r opened his eyes to look at Nina. "Do you love me, Nina? Do you love me enough to keep me here?" He feared he would do something rash and charge off to stop Ember. "Make me stay," he hissed, his face drawing into a grimace.

Kamen flashed through her mind breifly but she brushed him off and followed the vampire into the mission room. She grabbed her folder then went and read it. She gasped as she red the name on it.



This is an order to apprahend the vampire known as Kamen.

Kamen sat in his lonely study as the memories of the past came to haunt him. He sat there as he drunk his vodka and rum. "What am I doing here now?" He looked up as he saw his old master stand before him. He laughed as he shook his head. "I have drunk my self crazy. What say you ghost what shall I do?" The appreciation just stared at him with those dark eyes. Kamen just laughed as he drunk more. "Sew this world and all the creators in it. You were right master there is only you in this world you and you alone." He laughed as he stumbled to the fire place. He through the vodka and rum about the room then watched as the fire jumped from the fire place and sent the room into a blaze. He laughed as the mansion burned to the ground. He felt so free as he moved through the fire and sat where his chair had been in the study. It was time for a new start time he thought as he enjoyed feeling so free.

Ember sat on the plane going back to the states. She needed help, perhaps she could find Kamen...but he had left her alone days before her test....She sighed as the plane landed and she got off then headed stright to where the Manson used to be. It was just a pile of ashes.

she looks at him like before and always she holds on to him and kisses him "please stay with me don't leave me again i love you so much i want to marry you so please don't leave me my love" she cries again like she did "if you leave again i will kill myself and ember and kamen will be with you just not me my love so please stay with me" she looks at him with her sad vampire eyes

See'r felt her tears, and smiled sadly. "I'll stay," he whispered, hugging her to him. "I'll stay with you, Nina." Trying to block what Ember did (join the council) out of his mind, the white-haired vampire kissed Nina's head. I'll stay.
"Are you alright?" he asked her, pushing her back to arm's length to look her over. "No wounds that I don't know about?"

she looks at him her sad vampire eyes but she smiles at him like she always does "see'r i will marry you" for the first time in her life she is happy of her life right now

See'r's expression stilled, and his face went completely blank. For a moment, the vampire looked as though he was about to get up and leave. But his pale face melted into a wide grin, and he kissed Nina happily.
"Where should we live?" he asked, brushing some hair out of the young woman's face. "Near a city, or alone? What would you preffer?" Though he had never done it before, See'r was ready to step up to this challenge, one he had never touched - commitment.
Kissing his fiance again, See'r bit her nose playfully. "Let's get out of here. Where do you wish to go?"

"i want to live in a castle in the vampire woods not far from the city that castle is beautiful at night my love i always wanted to live there" she looks at him and smiles than she kisses him

"It shall be done," See'r hissed, nuzzling Nina's shoulder. Lifting her in his arms, the vampire stepped forward. "Tonight."

It was many hours later when the sprinting vampire came to a halt near the castle. If he had been human, he would have been gasping for breath - but one of his kind didn't need to breathe. Looking up at a tower's wall, he smiled. "Is this the one?" he asked the woman in his arms. "Way out here?"

she is happy now she hugs him "i love you my love" she looks at him and smiles she looks at him still with her cute vampire eyes

Ember sighed and looked through the rubble. She could see Kamen sitting in what used to be his favorite chair. She walked over to him and stood in front of him, she still wore her form fitting black robe. "What happened?" She asked looking around.

Kamen looked up at her his eyes emotionless as a slight grin appeared on his face. He then turned from her as he stared off as if in a daze. His voice was empty as he spoke. "Nothing." He pulled out the liter that he had kept from the first time they had meet at the club in Japan. He pulled out the old cigars that he kept from that time. He pulled one of the cigars out and lit it as he closed his eyes and enjoyed it. He open his eyes and rolled them to Ember. "How was the test?"

"You would know if you hadn't abandoned me. But I did well, got the highest score this century. It also earned me a spot on the council." She said frowning at the smell of cigars. She always had hated that smell.

Kamen rolled his eyes as he sat there happily drunk. "If I remember correctly the last thing I was doing was trying to help you with the history. When I regained my senses from my slumber I amuse that is what I was in. It would seem you were gone just like the others. I figured you left so I was about to leave as well. I plan on starting over. This place has been nothing but a headache.Well that is good for you Ember you'll do a good job for them." He stud slowly as he tried to gain his balance. He began to stubble away from her.

"Slumber? You started to read the history to me then suddenly your face changed, you started screaming and yelling. You punched me in the face. I took the history books and left. Then you came and found me, begged me to stay. Then days before the test you left me again!" Ember yelled at him angrily.

Kamen turned and looked at her as if she was crazy. "It is a shame I don't remember any of this. I wander what I got into that night. I didn't ever think I would hurt you, you where one of the few I loved. I guess you can't change people.. Guess every dream isn't always what you expected it to be then Ember. Sometime it is a nightmare. You'll learn that soon enough they will teach you that. I am sorry for my actions that you say I did though I remember none of this. I didn't mean to hurt you. I want let it happen again." He walked over to her and removed his necklaces from her neck as he through it to the ground. "Now you are free of me Ember go find some one who'll make you happy. I an no good for you it would seem." Kamen turned from her as he stumbled away.

"Your name came up." She confessed. Meaning that an order for his death had been taken out.

Kamen laughed as he continued to walk away from her. "I knew it would why else would they chose you. I am also your mission to kill. They are quit sneaky that way. They pick some one close to you to do the job. I am your test ember if you can kill me you get to live and be their pet." He turned and faced her as a grin appeared on his face. "So go ahead EMBER! Kill me become part of them take your place. " He continued to smoke on his cigar as he waited for her.
