Ember looked up at him, she had never been told she wasn't like others, except for when she was in bed. But she felt like she wanted more from him then just a few quickies. She leaned over and gently kissed his lips. They were like fire, she scooted as close as she could to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. She could almost hear him say the words, I'm drawn to you, but she pushed the thought off as her thinking it.

"You aren't a normal vampire," See'r said, sitting down beside Nina and wrapping an arm about her shoulders. "Remember that." His eyes closed as he leaned against her, and he yawned slightly. "Don't mind me if I drift off. I'm rather worn out with all this excitement." The vampire's breathing slowed as he ended up falling asleep, his head resting against Nina's shoulder.

Nalfien closed his eyes, returning her kiss. He wrapped an arm about her, smiling as she seemed to meld perfectly to him. "Are you really so desperate for love, Ember?" The question wasn't meant to hurt . . . but merely to question. "Why?" Holding the woman closer to him, he seemed to enjoy her cool aura. His brown eyes moved back to the surrounding garden, though his attention stayed locked on Ember.
"Why seek love?"

she looks at him and sets him on the pillow and leaves the room and looks for ember she needs to tell her something "ember where are you"

"I'm not a solitary creature. I like to have someone I can I say I love, and know they will say it back." She said looking up at him as he looked around the garden. She felt almost stupid for the move she had made, but he still held her close and she could hear him breathing. She always thought it funny that even though they didn't need to, vampire's still breathed the air, sort of a habit that had yet to die off.

she looks for ember "ember where are you i need to tell you something"

"Oh, great what does she want." Ember sighed hearing Nina looking for her. She got up and was then suddenly standing before her. "Yes Mrs. Preggers?" She asked with a smile.

she hugs her and smiles "ember i am pregnant i need your help please help me"

"I knew you were pregnant, and what do you need help with?" She asked looking out the window at the garden wondering if he was still out there.

she looks in her eyes "i see you are in love ember" she laughs

"Shush, he doesn't...It's been awhile since I saw him...and It just fired up...so what do you need me to do? I'll do anything." Ember said hugging her friend.

"I want you to be the aunt of my child i know you love children i know you care for and see'r i would be happy with you did ember" she smiles at her

"I'd love to!" Ember exclaimed hugging her again.

"i have been 5 months pregnant i don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet"

Five months? Incredible. See'r didn't bide his time that well.
Nalfien watched Ember go to her friend with a smile on his face.
I will wait for you.
The vampire turned to stroke the gently running water, playing with the ripples on it's surface. In the glow of moonlight, he almost seemed like a phantom; an illusion. Sadly, he felt like one. He didn't feel . . . real. Not with all the strength he carried. It wasn't human. Being a vampire was like being caught between life and death.
Nalfien let out a breath, blinking his warm eyes slowly.
What is my purpose here? Is it for her? Did you send me for her?

she feels something but goes to find see'r but something is wrong with her she falls to the floor "someone help me"

See'r woke suddenly, his hair a bit disheveled as he dashed to her side. "What is it?" he said, concerned. Laying a hand on her stomach, the vampire tilted his head. "What happened?"

she is in pain "i think my water broke" she screams in pain

His eyes widened. It was too early. "Well that can't be good." See'r carefully lifted his wife, bringing her into her own room. "Please don't be alarmed, but I've delivered children before." He smiled slightly, though his gaze was panicked. "It's an advantage of being a few hundred years old." He pressed a cool hand to her forehead. "Breathe. Continue breathing. Let me help you."

((Aaaaand we'll just skip over the birthing process. :sweat:))

she smiles at him and she is holding her child it is a girl of course "it is a girl see'r what should we call her"

Ember returned to the garden to see him playing with the water. He seemed so surreal, like a phantom. Not wanting to disturb him, but wanting to be next to him again she walked slowly over and sat down beside him. She looked down at the water, disgusted by the fact that it held no reflection for her. She looked at him, seeing his reflection in the water and smiled. He seemed so perfect...There was no way he was ment for her, she never could deserve such a blessing after the sin she had lived her life as.

See'r stepped up beside Nina with an expression of awe. Gently reaching out, he touched the infant's hand. "I cannot name something so innocent," he breathed, his eyes watching the squirming baby. "You name her."


"Do you know what a shepherd does to a stray lamb?" Nalfien reached into the fountain's cool water, lifting a smooth stone out of it's depths. "When he finds his little wanderer, he breaks one of it's legs." His face fell into a light frown as he inspected the pebble in his hand - a small crack nestled within it's side. "After he shocks the small animal, the shepherd will then brace it's leg." The vampire looked over to where Ember's reflection should have been, his features softening. "For the many months it takes for the lamb to recover, it is the shepherds job to keep the little guy fed and comfortable, carrying the lamb where ever he goes."
Using his other hand, Nalfien broke the stone in two. Within the seemingly normal, flawed rock rested a small cluster of bright red veins.
"By the time the lamb is healed, it is imprinted on it's caretaker and rarely strays from his side again," the man stared at the crimson crystals in his palm, a serene expression on his face. "Like a puppy."
His brown eyes lifted to Ember's, and he smiled slightly.
"We all stray. And we all receive punishment."

"Yes, but when does the punishment end? Are some of us meant to be punished for ever?" Ember asked taking a few of the red crystals out of his palm and playing with them. She smiled as they seemed so pretty on her snowy white skin...She looked back up at him with a sad smile. She wasn't sure why she felt so safe around him...It was as if she knew that he would never hurt her or leave her wounds unhealed.

she thinks of something and she thinks of one person that made her what she is "i will call her nala i think she needs the name nala her middle name is ember of her aunt and our last name as well what you think"

"Nala Ember Lockheart," See'r smiled. "It's as good a name as any." Kissing Nina's cheek, he gently touched the baby's hand. "It's amazing that she lived . . . it is far too early for a child to be born without defect."

Nalfien watched Ember play with the crystals, his brown eyes playing over the sparkling stones. "Punishment comes from the choices we make," the vampire said quietly, dropping the rest of the broken stone into the fountain. "The lamb can choose to stay near it's master, thus keeping it away from danger." He looked to Ember, meeting her gaze with a smile. "There's always something out there that will harm the lamb. But there is also always a shepherd willing to take the little creature in under their wing."
He reached out to brush her fingers with his, looking back to the small crystals in her palm.

"Who will mend my broken leg, and keep me from danger?" She asked dropping the crystals in the water and taking his hands. He felt so warm to her, that she wondered if he did indeed still have a heart beat, and if he breathed because he needed to. She moved closer so that they were a mere 1/2 apart from each other. She could feel the warm breath from him breathing hit her in the face gently, it even smelt good, He himself gave off a scent almost like honeysuckle with a hint of Mint.
