((Hehe, I'm back.))
Nalfien sat in shock through the ride. When they came to a stop, he suddenly flared to life. The stone that was aimed for Ember was forcefully knocked away, and the vampire snarled.
"What was that?" he asked in a husky tone, baring his fangs angrily. He leaned over the woman beside him in a protective manner, shielding her from any further blows.

"Endanger our lives for See'r?" Nalfien's expression immediately became closed - neutral. "What do you think, Ember? How do we go about doing this? We only have a couple hours worth of night left. Not even I can stay in the sun for long."

"Alright," Nalfien nodded slowly. Grabbing Ember's hand, he pulled her along with him until they were far enough from any listening humans. "How do we plan on doing this? There are only a few hours of darkness left. I don't know if we can do this before morning comes."
Glancing up at the starry sky, he shook his head, making his long hair shift about his shoulders. "If we're going to do this, we have to go now."

"Not many of us carry elder vampire blood around," Nalfien said. "And I would help, but I'm not truly related to him." The vampire glanced at the sky again. "I don't know which one, but I know of a few. Perhaps we should start in the East section of the city."

"Luck," Nalfien repeated, touching his lips with a shocked expression. The vampire blinked a few times to clear his thoughts. "We'll need more than just luck to get him back in time."
Motioning for Ember to follow, he walked swiftly to the darkest part of the area - that way they could move quickly without being seen. A blur of darkness, Nalfien headed for the East quarter. The most prominent hunter resided there, so perhaps he was the one that caught See'r.
It was only a few minutes before both vampires stood near the suspected building. Sniffing the air, Nalfien grimaced.
"If that's not the smell of a sun-ravaged vampire," he said, "I don't know what else it could be." For many minutes, he tried to find the location.
See'r shifted slightly as he heard a voice that sounded vaguely familiar. He looked beastial - feral. His human control was gone; only vampire instinct remained. Letting out a tortured roar, the silver-haired vampire yanked on his chains. The metal burned his wrists, as it had been all night. It made him try to jerk away from the pain, resulting in yet another wave of agony.
The elder vampire's wounds had continued to bleed throughout the hours he'd been chained - their kind didn't heal without drinking another's life. See'r didn't bother breathing - it was a human action. His red eyes were completely black as the vampire within him took control. Nothing looked or felt familiar. It was like stepping into an alien world where everything was different - and nothing was as it seemed.
See'r let loose another furious cry as the artificial sunlight that filtered from the lamp near the window struck his leg. The searing pain made him angry . . . but he was too weak to do anything about it. The slender vampire merely shifted, trying to keep out of the moving light's rays as they slowly rotated. This had happened for hours on end.
With a pained snarl, See'r let himself hang from his bonds once more.

Ember heard See'r roaring and ran towards what she thought was a giant Re-enforced steel door. "It's bolted shut from the inside." She said angry. Suddenly her hands began to burn where she was touching it. "OUCH! The doors pure silver!" She cried pulling her hands back, now covered in blisters. "He's in there, but I can't touch the door." She said as she tried to cool her hands, the damn thing about silver inflicted wounds, they couldn't be regenerated unless you wanted to wait hours.

Grabbing Ember's hands, Nalfien blew on them gently. Shaking his head, he moved to open the door for her. "Silver doesn't burn me," he explained, sniffing the air once the entry was opened. "And let us be wary. The hunter won't let us walk through the front door."
As they entered the building, the vampire narrowed his eyes. No one came to stop them, nothing happened suddenly . . . everything was still, as though no one was home. It made Nalfien tense in aprehension.
"See'r's scent comes from that way," Nalfien pointed down a long, dark hallway that ended in a set of stairs. Motioning the woman after him, the vampire headed toward his half-brother. It wasn't long before they came across the row of cells. A few were occupied, and it seemed that See'r was the most recent catch.
Looking into the cell, one would barely recognize him. The slender vampire hung wearily from his chains, not even realizing that help had come for him.
When Nalfien opened the silver-handled door, See'r didn't even look up. He didn't even flinch as one of the lamp's rays struck his arm, leaving a searing brand across his pale skin.

Ember stayed in the door way avoiding the artificial sun, She found it odd that a great hunter like this would have such a bad security system that would allow two unarmed vampires to wander in and not get caught. The place was to quiet, even the other vampires she saw in the cells did not scream out in pain, they watched as if waiting for something happen. "Nalfien, I don't like this, Hurry up, this place is giving me the creeps." She said as she watched him unshackle See'r.

Nalfien silently complied, careful to release See'r quietly. "This is wrong. Something's watching us." His brown eyes flickered about the cell, but didn't catch anything out of place. Shielding See'r from the rays from the lamp, Nalfien pulled him to his feet. The silver-haired man hissed, shrinking away from his rescuer before looking at him curiously.
With a sudden rush of movement, See'r tackled Nalfien, his vampiric strength at it's highest.
"See'r!" Nalfien shoved his half-brother back, narrowly avoiding the fangs that snapped at his throat. "Bring yourself back, brother! You hate giving the monster control, so steal it back!"
See'r growled, leaving a row of bloody marks across Nalfien's forearm.
Of course, at the moment of See'r's outburst, the laughter of someone nearby echoed through the hallway. The vampire hunter stood a few feet from Ember, his long blade suddenly held at her throat. "Move, and you're leaving this world." The man was dressed in casual clothing, and a pistol was held in his free hand. Most likely, everything he held was made of silver. Even the glinting threads that showed through his coat were silver. Watching Ember with a look of satisfaction, he grinned.
Nalfien spit out bit of blood as See'r backhanded him roughly. The half-breed was finally able to get See'r held to the floor, hissing in rage. "Ember," he breathed, seeing the blade at her throat. Rage flit through his brown eyes, but he held as still as he could with See'r beneath him.

Ember gasped as she felt the blade dug into her throat. She silently cursed herself for not noticing someone coming up behind her. She thought of all the possible moves she could make, but every one ended in either him slitting her throat, or grabbing his pistol and shooting Nalfien and See'r. She sighed and let herself relax so as not to irritate this man, who was clearly mad.

"Three of you?" the hunter let out a bark of laughter. "I thought it would only be his mate." The man let the sword dig into Ember's throat, drawing a bit of blood. "What a lucky day."
Nalfien snarled, and shoved See'r into the ground before moving toward the enemy. He stopped a few feet away, watching them warily. "We will fight you," he said in a low, dangerous voice. "And not all of us are as we seem."
The hunter laughed again, shoving Ember toward Nalfien. When he caught her, the strange man slammed the cell shut. "I'll keep that in mind when the morning comes." His laughter following him down the hallway, he went back to the rest of the building.
See'r hissed, trapped where he was by a few rays of light. He didn't dare move because of the burns he would suffer. Nalfien had foreseen this with Ember, and shielded her as best he could with his own body whenever the light got close.
"When dawn comes," Nalfien said quietly, "I don't know what to do." He shifted to keep more light off of the woman in his arms, forcing her into the corner of the room. "And See'r needs to feed. He won't let up until he does."
As though sensing they spoke of him, a loud growl filled the dungeon. See'r stayed within his corner of darkness, shifting restlessly.
"We need to get out of here within the hour if we are to survive."

Ember held her throat as the blood dripped down and on her shirt. She cringed as the light hit her arm. "I see no way out, Nalfien I think were trapped for good." She said clinging onto him. She blinked back tears as she felt defeat creeping up on her. She had never been trapped like this before, and she usually could find a way out when she was.
