Reaching a warm hand up, he pressed it to her bleeding wound. "Only a dead fish goes with the flow," he muttered, smiling slightly. "Don't give up now."
He looked over to See'r, who glared at the couple, rocking back and forth like a crazed psychopath.
"Perhaps we can do this. There has to be a way out of here." Nalfien shifted to block more light from reaching Ember, but it was hard when it came from multiple directions. "This can't be the end." He sounded sure of himself. "I wasn't meant to die like this. And neither were you, from what I know."
His brown eyes were filled with confusion, not fear. Looking to the ceiling, the half-breed frowned. "I don't understand."
At that moment, See'r lunged forward, drawn by the scent of Ember's blood. The vampire rammed into Nalfien's back, slamming him against Ember. With a feral growl, the two males began to fight, despite the burning rays that struck See'r. Nalfien swung a punch at See'r, knocking the pale vampire into the door. The lock snapped, and See'r hissed as the silver struck his leg.
"Did you see that?" Nalfien stared at the broken lock in amazement. His thought was interupted when his brother attacked him again, knocking him to the floor with his hyped up strength. "See'r!" The half-breed fought to keep the vampire's fangs from his neck, but See'r strength was incredible in his desperation. He shoved Nalfien into the stone floor, ignoring the sun-based rays that struck him. Forcing Nalfien's head back, See'r sank his fangs into his warm throat.

"NALFIEN! NO!" Ember yelled, she launched herself at See'r knocking him down. "Kill me." She said thrusting her neck towards him. She held her breath, waiting to feel the sharp stab of his fangs in her throat.

serenity feels something bad and nala was there "nala stay with the baby ok i feel something bad" before nala could stop she left in a flash she goes and feels of ember she brakes the door door and finds ember and see'r brother and see'r something is wrong with him

See'r snarled, his fangs bloodied. Lashing out at Ember, he slammed her into the floor and leapt on top of her, pinning her to the ground. The vampire hissed loudly before biting down on Ember's throat instead.
Nalfien pressed his hand to his own throat where the fangs had torn away, vainly trying to stop the blood from flowing. "See'r," he breathed, "stop. Don't . . . kill her." He stood and moved toward them, but See'r growled, keeping his gaze on Nalfien as he fed.
It was then that Nina burst into the room.
"Stop him," Nalfien pleaded, gasping for breath. "Don't let him kill her."

Ember saw everything flash before her eyes as her life was sucked out of her, she looked over at Nalfien and smiled, thankful that she had saved at least one person during her horrible existence. She looked at Nina and whispered. "Take care of him." Then she blinked a few times, and slowly passed out.

She sat in a white room, surrounded by snow and white light. She looked down, and could see her body with See'r still drinking from her, Nalfien yelling something at Nina. A tear landed in the snow beneath her, she didn't know where she was.

Nalfien's brown eyes widened. "See'r, stop!" He was able to reach the vampire, shoving him away from Ember. Kneeling, he lifted her into his lap as he collapsed. "Ember!" Ignoring his own wound, he pressed a bloody hand to her cheek. "Ember, no!" His eyes locked on her still face. "Please, no."


"Do you wish to return?" the loud voice was soft, gentle. Ember felt the air shift about her as the words were spoken. "Or do you wish to stay here until he joins you?" The breeze seemed to cradle her, the soft scent of lavender floating with it's touch. "I give you a choice once more. What is your decision?"

"SEE'R STOP THIS NOW" she cries for him

See'r flinched, his black eyes resting on Nina's form. "Nina?" he whispered, trembling slightly. Slowly gaining control over his instincts once more, the vampire shuddered. Blinking rapidly, See'r's dark eyes faded into their usual crimson glow. He then resumed his habit of breathing - a human action that he clung to.
Stepping over to Nina, he pulled her into a hug. It was then that he saw Nalfien and Ember. His eyes widened as he saw them. "What have I done?" he said in a quiet voice, letting go of his wife and stepping back toward the door. "Did I . . . is she . . . does she live?"
Nalfien's gaze was deadly when he looked up at See'r. "No, brother. She is gone."

"I...I wish to go back to him, Send me back!" She yelled her voice echoing through the falling snow, she tried to run down to them, but she couldn't find a way, she collapsed in the snow as she felt her chest begin her burn, "What's happening, why does my chest hurt." She asked placing her hands on her chest, and feeling her heart beating. "What?" She asked slightly confused.

"I don't create flaws," the voice echoed, and a wrap of comforting warmth coated Ember. It seemed to usher her back to the world. "I look forward to you seeking Me, Ember." Bits of snow drifted about the woman, and a soft guidance seemed to bring her back into her own form. "Do not forget Me. Seek Me in return for what I have done."
The light faded, leaving Ember in the world once more.


"How dare you!" Nalfien snarled, throwing himself at See'r. Shoving him away from Nina, he snarled. "How could you?" Shaking his head, the half-breed fought for control, calming himself once more. "You took her from me."

"please stop don't hurt him he can't help it" she cries of blood

Groaning slightly, Ember opened her eyes. "Nalfien.." She muttered weakly, she could smell the blood, but it did not push her into any blood lust, she could feel her heart beating as she sat up. "Nalfien!" She cried as he pushed See'r.

"He let the vampire take control!" Nalfien shouted, glaring at Nina. Meeting See'r's gaze, the half-breed snarled. "This will take time to forgive, brother." Shaking with fury, the long-haired vampire calmed himself.
When he heard Ember's voice, he spun about. Looking down at her with an expression full of disbelief, he slowly moved toward her. "Ember?" he whispered in disbelief. It was then that he heard her heartbeat, smelled her different scent. "What?"

"NALFIEN, What does the book teach us, forgive and forget other for their defaults." She said calmly standing up and walking over to him. She placed a hand on his shoulder and tried to calm him down. "I'm fine." She whispered.

"Ember," Nalfien shuddered, closing his eyes. Her touch was warm. Turning, he blocked everything but her from his mind but Ember. Flinging his arms about her, the half-breed spun her about happily. "What happened?" he asked, kissing her as a few tears came to his eyes. Grasping either side of her face, he kissed her again, and then her forehead.

"I...I died, and I was in heaven....I think. I heard this voice, and he told me to choose, I chose you." She said kissing him back. "I'm breathing, I have a heart beat, I feel warm, I can feel you." She said kissing him passionately.

she remembers of something "the baby see'r we have to go to see nala and the baby as well"

Nalfien's breathing was ragged as he held her to him. "He sent you back," he said, returning her kiss. "And you've changed." He couldn't get any closer than he already was. "You're so warm." With a slight chuckle, Nalfien kissed her again. "I thought you were gone. I thought he took you from me."


See'r watched the other couple, relieved. I didn't kill her.
When Nina spoke, he nodded, and moved to grab her hand in his. "Let's go home." Heading for the hall, he pulled Nina after him unil they were outside a few seconds later. Not even the vampire hunter could have captured them as they flashed through the building and into the night.

"We should leave, he might come back." She breathed inhaling his scent, and melting into him. She loved how there heart beats seemed to match with each other. Almost as if they were synchronized together. She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder smiling. "Let's go."

"i hope the baby is alright i am worry about the baby" she almost cries

See'r gave her hand a squeeze. "We're almost home," he said quietly. "I'm sure Nala . . . both of them . . . will be fine." Nevertheless, he sped his pace. As flitting shadows, both of them returned to the castle grounds. Heading up to the room where Nala had last been left, See'r glanced to Nina. "She's going to be fine."


Nalfien swallowed audibly. "Yes," he breathed, "Go." Lifting her off of her feet, he kissed her forehead, holding her as close as he could as they headed for the entrance. As soon as they stepped outside, the sound of a gun being cocked reached their ears. Nalfien didn't even turn around.
"You won't make it back before the sun!" the hunter shouted, taking aim at the couple. "And you can't dodge bullets, blood-suckers!"
Nalfien kept walking. I don't need to speak - I have more protection than he can even fathom. The half-breed set Ember down, kneeling in front of her. Looking over his shoulder at her, he smiled. "Grab on."

Ember got onto his back and wrapped her arms around his shoulder. "He's right, well about the sun thing." She whispered in his ear. She hid her face in his shoulder not wanting to watch them die.

Nalfien chuckled, grabbing onto her arm and dashing away from the hunter. The sound of a bullet being fired didn't even make him flinch - the shot missed them by a mile. They were protected. "I don't die if I'm in the light," he said loud enough for her to hear over the sound of the rushing wind as they ran. "And if I'm thinking right, I don't think you will either." He ran in silence for a while, the only sound was the scenery passing by. His breathing was rough, but he was able to keep the speed steady. "Things have changed now, Ember."
When they reached the castle, Nalfien was nearly gasping for breath. He slowed before stopping smoothly, carefully lowering Ember to the ground so she could stand. Pressing a hand to his throat, he let out a breathless chuckle. "See'r can be rough when he tries."
Dawn was coming, the rosy fingers of light spreading across the sky.

Ember watched as the sun rose, tears sprang to her eyes, they were clear and crystal, She watched in awe as the fingers of the sun reached the darkness, and filled everything with light. "The last time I saw the sun rise, I was 19 and my mother had just died." She said quietly.
