Let's discuss.
Do you guys like to write poetry? And, if you do, do you think you're any good? I've been craving to hear a good poem, (that I haven't heard a thousand times before) and, I figure, SOMEONE on Menewsha should be freaking rockingly awesome at it!
So, share your poems with me?
I'd sooo love it more than anything, right now. :3

I LOVE poetry, and I love to write, I don't think that I am that good at it, but I can share a piece or two with you and you can tell me how you like it :) I use to post on a site long before it was taken down too actually. Lol.
A Teen Girl In Love
A teen girl in love with the guy of her dreams, her knight ins shining armor to her that's what he seems.
Her miracle that just happened to come true. The birthday wish she made when she blew.
The wish she made when throwing the penny in the pound, her spell that came true when she moved her magic wand.
Her fairytale prince who rescued her from danger, her protector who saved her from that stranger.
Her Mr. Right, her only guy. Her shooting star across the sky. Her prayer that got answered from the gods above
These are a teen girls thoughts when she's in love.
You stole my heart
That look in your eyes, well it gave me chills
For what happened next was such a big thrill.
The moment was perfect I can't describe how I felt.
It's like shivers down my spine, yet felt as though I was about to melt.
Your touch was like an angels. So warm we were two seperate people.
But came together as one form. So long I'd been waiting to feel your kiss,
Something so amazing. I never knew could exist.
Your hand upon mine, was a beautiful fixation.
Can't get it off my mind. It's taken away all my concentration.
It's only took those minutes to make a long dream of mine come true.
And when I looked back into your eyes.
It felt like you could look right through
It felt like you looked deeper, as though you looked in my soul
And in that instant all of a sudden my heart you had stole.
And a poem that I found was cute and it is in my journal.
Believe in the fairies that make dreams come true,
Believe in the wonder the stars and the moon.
Believe in the magic, from the fairies above
They dance on the flowers and sing the songs of love.
And if you just believe
And always stay true
The fairies will be there
To watch over you!
When I write poems, I write usually my feelings and how to express them. It is better than bottling them up. Anyways. Hope you enjoyed them! I don't think I am that great at writing them, but eh. They are fun! :)
Do you write poems if so, I would love to see some of them!

I love poetry too! It came to me when I was in sixth grade. This is a poem I made this year in February, when I was in 8th grade. I don't know if you'll think it's good, though! :D It's one of my favorites, too, because of its more positive aspect. Oh, and there's a little pun at the end of it.

AUTUMN by A.C. (~Simplicity)
Softly come, softly go . . .
In trees, you can hear;
Hushed, but growing ever more,
In places I may appear.
Biking past, a-breezy-by,
The places of the town.
Down the hills of sprouted Rye,
I am here; all around.
Sun kisses, on your face,
Watching the rising sun.
The fields of glory that I embrace,
In rivers of water that I run.
Moon; painted in silver porcelain,
Sun; splashed in brightly gold,
Cloud; the pitter-patter of the rain,
Nature does what she is told.
Another year has come and gone,
But everyday you will find . . .
In the hills of the setting sun,
The places that of where I wind.

Hehe, get it? I don't know if I'm that good of a poet though, since I've only done it as a hobby. I've never studied or looked into poetry formally and to be honest, I don't know all the terms of poetry nor do I use them. I just... use my own voice, and that's it. I usually count by syllables, and there's always some kind of rhythm, but I don't have a set one. I guess it can count as freewriting, if I can use that term.
Usually, in poetry, I have darker tones and moods, and some of them are gorey and some have death themes. Hahaha, so I'm not the type to have more slice of life poems, but in the future I will. I don't regularly make poems anymore, unless I had a "moment" that I had to just write down, or if my sister requested me to. Poems is one of my early hobbies as well. x] <33
